Isaiah 15
1 The burden of Moab. Surely Ar of Moab was destroied, and brought to silece in a night: surely Kir of Moab was destroied, and brought to silence in a night.
Revelação sobre Moabe: Certamente em uma noite é destruída Ar-Moabe; [e] é devastada; certamente em uma noite é destruída Quir-Moabe, [e] é devastada.
2 He shall goe vp to the temple, and to Dibon to the hie places to weepe: for Nebo and for Medeba shall Moab howle: vpon all their heades shalbe baldnesse, and euery beard shauen.
[Os moradores] sobem ao templo, e a Dibom, aos lugares altos, para chorar; Moabe grita de lamento por Nebo e por Medeba; em todas as suas cabeças há calva, e toda barba está raspada.
3 In their streetes shall they bee gilded with sackecloth: on the toppes of their houses, and in their streetes euery one shall howle, and come downe with weeping.
Eles se vestem de sacos em suas ruas; em seus terraços, e em suas praças todos andam gritando de lamento, e descem chorando.
4 And Heshbon shall crie, and Elealeh: their voyce shall bee heard vnto Iahaz: therefore the warriers of Moab shall showt: the soule of euery one shall lament in him selfe.
Tanto Hesbom como Eleale vão gritando, até Jaaz se ouve sua voz; por causa disso os soldados armados de Moabe gritam, a alma de cada um está abalada dentro de si.
5 Mine heart shall crie for Moab: his fugitiues shall flee vnto Zoar, an heiffer of three yere olde: for they shall goe vp with weeping by the mounting vp of Luhith: and by the way of Horonaim they shall raise vp a crie of destruction.
Meu coração dá gritos por Moabe, seus fugitivos [foram] até Zoar [e] Eglate-Selisia; pois sobem com choro pela subida de Luíte, pois no caminho de Horonaim levantam um grito de desespero.
6 For the waters of Nimrim shall be dried vp: therefore the grasse is withered, the herbes consumed, and there was no greene herbe.
Pois as águas de Ninrim se acabaram; pois a grama se secou, as plantas pereceram, e não há mais vegetal verde.
7 Therefore what euery man hath left, and their substance shall they beare to the brooke of the willowes.
Por isso levarão os bens que acumularam e seus pertences ao ribeiro dos salgueiros.
8 For the crie went round about the borders of Moab: and the howling thereof vnto Eglaim, and the skriking thereof vnto Beer Elim,
Porque o pranto rodeia aos limites de Moabe; até Eglaim chega seu grito de lamento, e até Beer-Elim sua lamentação.
9 Because the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more vpon Dimon, euen lyons vpon him that escapeth of Moab, and to the remnant of the land.
Pois as águas de Dimom estão cheias de sangue, porém porei em Dimom ainda outros mais: um leão aos que escaparem de Moabe, e aos sobreviventes da terra.
