Isaiah 15
1 The burden of Moab. Surely Ar of Moab was destroied, and brought to silece in a night: surely Kir of Moab was destroied, and brought to silence in a night.
Dies ist die Last über Moab: Des Nachts kommt Verstörung über Ar in Moab; sie ist dahin. Des Nachts kommt Verstörung über Kir in Moab; sie ist dahin.
2 He shall goe vp to the temple, and to Dibon to the hie places to weepe: for Nebo and for Medeba shall Moab howle: vpon all their heades shalbe baldnesse, and euery beard shauen.
Sie gehen hinauf gen Baith und Dibon zu den Altären, daß sie weinen und heulen über Nebo und Medba in Moab. Aller Haupt ist beschoren, aller Bart ist abgeschnitten.
3 In their streetes shall they bee gilded with sackecloth: on the toppes of their houses, and in their streetes euery one shall howle, and come downe with weeping.
Auf ihren Gassen gehen sie mit Säcken umgürtet; auf ihren Dächern und Straßen heulen sie alle und gehen weinend herab.
4 And Heshbon shall crie, and Elealeh: their voyce shall bee heard vnto Iahaz: therefore the warriers of Moab shall showt: the soule of euery one shall lament in him selfe.
Hesbon und Eleale schreien, daß man's zu Jahza höret. Darum wehklagen die Gerüsteten in Moab; denn es gehet ihrer Seele übel.
5 Mine heart shall crie for Moab: his fugitiues shall flee vnto Zoar, an heiffer of three yere olde: for they shall goe vp with weeping by the mounting vp of Luhith: and by the way of Horonaim they shall raise vp a crie of destruction.
Mein Herz schreiet zu Moab; ihre Flüchtigen fliehen von der dreijährigen Kuh, bis gen Zoar; denn sie gehen gen Luhith hinan und weinen; und auf dem Wege zu Horonaim zu erhebt sich ein Jammergeschrei.
6 For the waters of Nimrim shall be dried vp: therefore the grasse is withered, the herbes consumed, and there was no greene herbe.
Denn die Wasser zu Nimrim versiegen, daß das Heu verdorret, und das Gras verwelket, und wächset kein grün Kraut.
7 Therefore what euery man hath left, and their substance shall they beare to the brooke of the willowes.
Denn das Gut, das sie gesammelt, und das Volk, das sie gerüstet haben, führet man über den Weidenbach.
8 For the crie went round about the borders of Moab: and the howling thereof vnto Eglaim, and the skriking thereof vnto Beer Elim,
Geschrei gehet um in den Grenzen Moabs; sie heulen bis gen Eglaim und heulen bei dem Born Elim.
9 Because the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more vpon Dimon, euen lyons vpon him that escapeth of Moab, and to the remnant of the land.
Denn die Wasser zu Dimon sind voll Bluts. Dazu will ich über Dimon noch mehr kommen lassen, beide über die erhalten sind in Moab des Löwen, und über die Übrigen im Lande.
