Isaiah 14
1 For the Lord wil haue compassion of Iaakob, and wil yet chuse Israel, and cause them to rest in their owne lande: and the stranger shall ioyne him selfe vnto them, and they shall cleaue to the house of Iaakob.
Fa Jehovah hamindra fo amin’ i Jakoba, ary mbola hifidy ny Isiraely indray ka hamponina azy ao amin’ ny taniny; ary ny vahiny hikambana aminy, ary ny taranak’ i Jakoba ho namany
2 And the people shall receiue them and bring them to their owne place, and the house of Israel shall possesse them in the land of the Lord, for seruants and handmaids: and they shall take them prisoners, whose captiues they were, and haue rule ouer their oppressours.
Dia haka azy ny firenena ka hanatitra azy hody; ary ny taranak’ Isiraely hanana azy ho ankizilahiny sy ankizivaviny ao amin’ ny tanin’ i Jehovah; dia ho tonga mpamabo izay namabo azy izy; ary hampanompo izay nampahory azy.
3 And in that day when the Lord shall giue thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy feare, and from the sore bodage, wherein thou didest serue,
Ary amin’ ny andro hanomezan’ i Jehovah fitsaharana anao ho afaka amin’ ny fahorianao sy ny fitebitebin’ ny fonao ary ny fanompoana mafy izay nampanompoana anao,
4 Then shalt thou take vp this prouerbe against the King of Babel, and say, Howe hath the oppressor ceased? and the gold thirsty Babel rested?
dia hataonao izao oha-teny ny amin’ ny mpanjakan’ i Babylona izao: Hià! mitsahatra ilay mpampahory! Eny, tsy ao intsony ilay tanàna volamena!
5 The Lord hath broken the rodde of the wicked, and the scepter of the rulers:
Jehovah efa nanapatapaka ny tehin’ ny ratsy fanahy. Dia ny tehina fanapahan’ ny mpanapaka,
6 Which smote the people in anger with a continuall plague, and ruled the nations in wrath: if any were persecuted, he did not let.
Izay namely firenena tamin’ ny fahatezerana, tamin’ ny famelezana tsy nanam-pitsaharana, sady nampanompo firenena tamin’ ny fahatezerana, tamin’ ny fanenjehana tsy misy antra.
7 The whole worlde is at rest and is quiet: they sing for ioye.
Miadana ka mandry fahizay ny tany rehetra; Velominy ao ny hoby,
8 Also the firre trees reioyced of thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid downe, no hewer came vp against vs.
Eny, ny hazo kypreso sy ny sedera any Libanona hifaly anao hoe: Hatrizay niambohoanao izay dia tsy nisy mpikapa niakatra tatỳ aminay.
9 Hel beneath is mooued for thee to meete thee at thy comming, raising vp the deade for thee, euen all the princes of the earth, and hath raised from their thrones all the Kinges of the nations. (Sheol h7585)
Taitra ny fiainan-tsi-hita any ambany noho ny aminao mba hitsena anao amin’ ny fihavianao; Mamoha ny matoatoa hitsena anao izy, dia ireny bibilahy rehetra tambonin’ ny tany; Aingainy hiala amin’ ny seza fiandrianana ny mpanjakan’ ny firenena rehetra. (Sheol h7585)
10 All they shall crie, and saie vnto thee, Art thou become weake also as we? art thou become like vnto vs?
Izy rehetra samy hiteny aminao hoe: Hay! ianao koa mba efa osa tahaka anay! Efa tonga tahaka anay ianao!
11 Thy pompe is brought downe to ye graue, and the sounde of thy violes: the worme is spred vnder thee, and the wormes couer thee. (Sheol h7585)
Efa navarina ho etỳ amin’ ny fiainan-tsi-hita ny tabihanao mbamin’ ny feon’ ny valihanao; Kankana no ilafihanao, ary olitra no mandrakotra anao. (Sheol h7585)
12 How art thou fallen from heauen, O Lucifer, sonne of the morning? and cutte downe to the grounde, which didest cast lottes vpon the nations?
Endrey! latsaka avy tany an-danitra ianao, ry ilay fitarik’ andro, zanaky ny maraina; Voakapa hianjera amin’ ny tany ianao, ry ilay mpandripaka firenena.
13 Yet thou saidest in thine heart, I will ascende into heauen, and exalt my throne aboue beside the starres of God: I will sitte also vpon the mount of the Congregation in the sides of the North.
Ary ianao efa nanao anakampo hoe: Any an-danitra no hiakarako, ary ambonin’ ny kintan’ Andriamanitra no hanandratako ny seza fiandrianako; Dia hipetraka eo an-tendrombohitra; fivoriana any am-parany avaratra aho;
14 I wil ascend aboue ye height of the cloudes, and I will be like the most high.
Hiakatra ho any ambonin’ ny havoan’ ny rahona aho ka ho tahaka ny Avo Indrindra;
Kanjo hampidinina hatrany amin’ ny fiainan-tsi-hita ho any ampara-vodilavaka ianao. (Sheol h7585)
16 They that see thee, shall looke vpon thee and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, and that did shake the kingdomes?
Izay mahita anao hibanjina anao sy hihevitra anao hoe: Moa io va ilay lehilahy nampihorohoro ny tany sy nampihozongozona ny fanjakana
17 He made the worlde as a wildernesse, and destroied the cities thereof, and opened not the house of his prisoners.
Ary nanao izao tontolo izao ho efitra sy nandrava ny tanànany Ary tsy nandefa ny mpifatotra hody?
18 All the Kings of the nations, euen they all sleepe in glorie, euery one in his owne house.
Ny mpanjaka rehetra amin’ ny firenena samy mandry amin’ ny voninahitra avokoa, ary samy ao am-pasany avy;
19 But thou art cast out of thy graue like an abominable branch: like the raiment of those that are slaine, and thrust thorowe with a sword, which goe downe to the stones of the pit, as a carkeise troden vnder feete.
Fa ianao kosa dia nariana niala lavitra ny fasanao, tahaka ny solofon-kazo ratsy izay ariana, sady voatsindrin’ ny fatin’ ny voavono ianao, dia ireo voatrabaky ny sabatra, ka midìna ho ao amin’ ny vato ao an-davaka, tahaka ny faty hitsakitsahin’ ny tongotra.
20 Thou shalt not be ioyned with them in the graue, because thou hast destroied thine owne lande, and slaine thy people: the seede of the wicked shall not be renoumed for euer.
Tsy halevina tahaka ireny ianao, satria efa nanimba ny taninao sady efa namono ny olonao; tsy hotononina mandrakizay ny taranaky ny mpanao ratsy!
21 Prepare a slaughter for his children, for the iniquitie of their fathers: let them not rise vp nor possesse the land, nor fil the face of the world with enemies.
Manamboara famonoana hamelezana ny zanany noho ny heloky ny razany; tsy hitsangana hanana ny tany izy, Na hanorina tanana eran’ izao tontolo izao.
22 For I wil rise vp against them (sayth the Lord of hostes) and will cut off from Babel the name and the remnant and the sonne, and the nephew, sayth the Lord:
Fa hitsangana hamely azy aho, hoy Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, ary hofoanako ny anaran’ i Babylona sy izay sisa ao mbamin’ ny zanany sy ny taranany, hoy Jehovah.
23 And I wil make it a possession to ye hedgehogge, and pooles of water, and I will sweepe it with the besome of destruction, sayeth the Lord of hostes.
Ary hataoko fonenan’ ny sokina sy fihandronan’ ny rano izy, ary hofafako kifafa fandringanana izy, hoy Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro.
24 The Lord of hostes hath sworne, saying, Surely like as I haue purposed, so shall it come to passe, and as I haue consulted, it shall stand:
Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, efa nianiana hoe: Araka izay noheveriko no hatao aminy ary araka izay nokasaiko no hotovina aminy,
25 That I will breake to pieces Asshur in my land, and vpon my mountaines will I treade him vnder foote: so that his yoke shall depart from them, and his burden shall be taken from off their shoulder.
Dia ny hanorotoro ny Asyriana ao amin’ ny taniko, ary ny hanitsakitsaka azy eny an-tendrombohitro; ny zioga fitondrany dia hiala amin’ ireo, ary ny entany ho afaka amin’ ny sorony
26 This is the counsell that is consulted vpon the whole worlde, and this is the hande stretched out ouer all the nations,
Izany no fikasana ny amin’ ny tany rehetra, ary izany no tanana ahinjitra amin’ ny firenena rehetra.
27 Because the Lord of hostes hath determined it, and who shall disanull it? and his hande is stretched out, and who shall turne it away?
Fa Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, no efa nikasa, ka iza indray no hahafoana izany? Ary ny tànany dia voahinjitra, ka iza no hampihemotra izany?
28 In the yeere that King Ahaz died, was this burden.
Tamin’ ny taona nahafatesan’ i Ahaza mpanjaka no nisy izao faminaniana ny loza hanjo izao:
29 Reioyce not, (thou whole Palestina) because the rod of him that did beat thee, is broken for out of the serpents roote shall come forth a cockatrise, and the fruit therof shalbe a firy flying serpent.
Aza mifaly, ry Filistia rehetra, saingy tapaka ny tsorakazo namely anao; fa avy ao an-kibon’ ny bibilava no hihavian’ ny menarana, ary ny aterany ho tonga menaran’ afo manidina.
30 For the first borne of the poore shall be fed, and the needie shall lie downe in safetie: and I will kill thy roote with famine, and it shall slay thy remnant.
Ny faraidina indrindra hihinana, ary ny mahantra handry fahizay; Fa hataoko maty mosary kosa izay tsy ringana aminao, eny, izay sisa aminao ho matiny.
31 Howle, O gate, crie, O citie: thou whole lande of Palestina art dissolued, for there shall come from the North a smoke, and none shalbe alone, at his time appointed.
Midradradradrà, ry vavahady, ary mitaraina, ry tanàna; Aoka ho ketraka avokoa ianao, ry Filistia! Fa misy setroka mitranga avy any avaratra, ary tsy misy miala amin’ ny laharany akory ny miaramilany.
32 What shall then one answere the messengers of the Gentiles? That the Lord hath stablished Zion, and the poore of his people shall trust in it.
Ary inona moa no valiny ho entin’ ny iraky ny jentilisa? Izao: Jehovah efa nanorina an’ i Ziona, ary ao no hialofan’ izay olony ory.
