Isaiah 12

1 And thou shalt say in that day, O Lord, I will prayse thee: though thou wast angrie with me, thy wrath is turned away, and thou comfortest me.

Et tu diras en ce jour-là: Je te loue, Yahweh, car tu étais irrité, mais ta colère s’est détournée et tu me consoles.

2 Beholde, God is my saluation: I will trust, and will not feare: for ye Lord God is my strength and song: he also is become my saluation.

Voici le Dieu de ma délivrance; j’ai confiance et je ne crains pas; car ma force et ma louange c’est Yahweh, Yahweh; il a été pour moi le salut. —

3 Therefore with ioy shall ye drawe waters out of the welles of saluation.

Vous puiserez des eaux avec joie aux sources du salut,

4 And ye shall say in that day, Prayse the Lord: call vpon his Name: declare his workes among the people: make mention of them, for his Name is exalted.

et vous direz en ce jour-là: Louez Yahweh, invoquez son nom, publiez parmi les peuples ses grandes œuvres, proclamez que son nom est élevé.

5 Sing vnto the Lord, for he hath done excellent things: this is knowen in all the worlde.

Chantez Yahweh, car il a fait des choses magnifiques; qu’on le sache dans toute la terre!

6 Cry out, and shoute, O inhabitant of Zion: for great is ye holy one of Israel in the middes of thee.

Pousse des cris, tressaille d’allégresse, habitante de Sion, car le Saint d’Israël est grand au milieu de toi!
