< Isaiah 12 >
1 And thou shalt say in that day, O Lord, I will prayse thee: though thou wast angrie with me, thy wrath is turned away, and thou comfortest me.
At that time you will say, “I will praise you, Lord! Though you were angry with me, your anger is over, and now you comfort me.
2 Beholde, God is my saluation: I will trust, and will not feare: for ye Lord God is my strength and song: he also is become my saluation.
Look! God is my salvation! I will trust in him and I won't be afraid! For the Lord is my strength and song, and he has saved me!”
3 Therefore with ioy shall ye drawe waters out of the welles of saluation.
With great happiness you will take water from the well of salvation.
4 And ye shall say in that day, Prayse the Lord: call vpon his Name: declare his workes among the people: make mention of them, for his Name is exalted.
At that time you will say: “Praise the Lord, shout out his name! Tell the nations what he has done—let them know of his wonderful character!
5 Sing vnto the Lord, for he hath done excellent things: this is knowen in all the worlde.
Sing to the Lord for all the glorious things he's done—let the whole world know!
6 Cry out, and shoute, O inhabitant of Zion: for great is ye holy one of Israel in the middes of thee.
Shout loudly and sing for joy, you people of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel is great, and is among you.”
