Isaiah 11
1 But there shall come a rodde foorth of the stocke of Ishai, and a grasse shall growe out of his rootes.
Brotará un Retoño del tronco de Isaí, y una Rama de sus raíces dará fruto.
2 And the Spirite of the Lord shall rest vpon him: the Spirite of wisedome and vnderstanding, the Spirite of counsell and strength, the Spirite of knowledge, and of the feare of the Lord,
El Espíritu de Yavé reposará sobre Él: Espíritu de sabiduría y de inteligencia, Espíritu de consejo y de poder, Espíritu de conocimiento y de temor a Yavé.
3 And shall make him prudent in the feare of the Lord: for he shall not iudge after the sight of his eies, neither reproue by ye hearing of his eares.
Se deleitará en el temor a Yavé. No juzgará por lo que vean sus ojos, ni por lo que oigan sus oídos,
4 But with righteousnesse shall he iudge the poore, and with equitie shall he reprooue for the meeke of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lippes shall he slay the wicked.
sino juzgará con justicia a los pobres. Resolverá con equidad a favor de los mansos de la tierra. Herirá la tierra con la vara de su boca, y con el soplo de sus labios matará al impío.
5 And iustice shall be ye girdle of his loynes, and faithfulnesse the girdle of his reines.
La justicia será el cinto de sus órganos internos, y la fidelidad, el cinturón de su cintura.
6 The wolfe also shall dwell with the lambe, and the leopard shall lie with the kid, and the calfe, and the lyon, and the fat beast together, and a litle childe shall leade them.
Entonces el lobo vivirá con el cordero, y el leopardo se recostará con el cabrito. El becerro, el cachorro de león y la bestia doméstica andarán juntos y un niño pequeño los pastoreará.
7 And the kow and the beare shall feede: their yong ones shall lie together: and the lyon shall eate strawe like the bullocke.
La vaca y la osa comerán hierbas, y sus crías se echarán juntas. El león comerá pasto como el buey.
8 And the sucking childe shall play vpon the hole of the aspe, and the wained childe shall put his hand vpon the cockatrice hole.
El niño de pecho jugará sobre la guarida de la cobra, y el recién destetado meterá su mano en la guarida de la víbora.
9 Then shall none hurt nor destroy in all the mountaine of mine holines: for the earth shalbe full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters that couer the sea.
No harán mal ni dañarán en todo mi Santa Montaña, porque la tierra será llena del conocimiento de Yavé como el agua cubre el mar.
10 And in that day the roote of Ishai, which shall stand vp for a signe vnto the people, the nations shall seeke vnto it, and his rest shall be glorious.
Acontecerá en aquel tiempo que las naciones buscarán a Aquél que es la raíz de Isaí, el cual estará en pie como un pendón para todos los pueblos. Su lugar de reposo será glorioso.
11 And in the same day shall the Lord stretche out his hand againe the second time, to possesse the remnant of his people, (which shalbe left) of Asshur, and of Egypt, and of Pathros, and of Ethiopia, and of Elam, and of Shinear, and of Hamath, and of the yles of the sea.
También acontecerá en aquel día que ʼAdonay volverá a levantar su mano para recuperar el remanente de su pueblo que aún esté en Asiria, Egipto, Patros, Etiopía, Persia, Caldea, Hamat y en las islas del mar.
12 And he shall set vp a signe to the nations, and assemble the dispersed of Israel, and gather the scattered of Iudah from the foure corners of the worlde.
Levantará pendón a las naciones para reunir a los desterrados de Israel, y congregar a los esparcidos de Judá de los cuatro puntos cardinales de la tierra.
13 The hatred also of Ephraim shall depart, and the aduersaries of Iudah shalbe cut off: Ephraim shall not enuie Iudah, neither shall Iudah vexe Ephraim:
Entonces será quitada la envidia de Efraín, y los que hostigan a Judá serán destruidos. Efraín no tendrá envidia de Judá, ni Judá afligirá a Efraín.
14 But they shall flee vpon the shoulders of the Philistims toward the West: they shall spoyle them of the East together: Edom and Moab shall be the stretching out of their hands, and the children of Ammon in their obedience.
Desde el occidente volarán sobre los hombros de los filisteos, y unidos despojarán a los hijos de oriente. Edom y Moab caerán bajo sujeción, y los hijos de Amón les obedecerán.
15 The Lord also shall vtterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptians sea, and with his mightie winde shall lift vp his hand ouer the riuer, and shall smite him in his seuen streames, and cause men to walke therein with shooes.
Yavé secará la lengua del mar de Egipto. Con el poder de su aliento alzará su mano contra el río. Lo partirá en siete brazos para que pasen por él en sandalias.
16 And there shalbe a path to the remnant of his people, which are left of Asshur, like as it was vnto Israel in the day that he came vp out of the land of Egypt.
Habrá un camino para el remanente de su pueblo que quede en Asiria, como lo tuvo Israel cuando subió de la tierra de Egipto.
