Isaiah 11
1 But there shall come a rodde foorth of the stocke of Ishai, and a grasse shall growe out of his rootes.
Şi va ieşi un toiag din tulpina lui Isai şi un Lăstar va creşte din rădăcinile lui;
2 And the Spirite of the Lord shall rest vpon him: the Spirite of wisedome and vnderstanding, the Spirite of counsell and strength, the Spirite of knowledge, and of the feare of the Lord,
Şi duhul DOMNULUI se va odihni peste el, duhul înţelepciunii şi al înţelegerii, duh de sfătuire şi de putere, duhul cunoaşterii şi al temerii de DOMNUL;
3 And shall make him prudent in the feare of the Lord: for he shall not iudge after the sight of his eies, neither reproue by ye hearing of his eares.
Şi îl va face ager în înţelegere în teama de DOMNUL, şi el nu va judeca după vederea ochilor săi, nici nu va mustra conform auzului urechilor sale,
4 But with righteousnesse shall he iudge the poore, and with equitie shall he reprooue for the meeke of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lippes shall he slay the wicked.
Ci cu dreptate va judeca pe săraci şi va mustra cu echitate pentru cei blânzi ai pământului şi va lovi pământul cu nuiaua gurii lui şi cu suflarea buzelor sale va ucide pe cel stricat.
5 And iustice shall be ye girdle of his loynes, and faithfulnesse the girdle of his reines.
Şi dreptatea va fi brâul coapselor sale şi credincioşia va fi brâul rărunchilor săi.
6 The wolfe also shall dwell with the lambe, and the leopard shall lie with the kid, and the calfe, and the lyon, and the fat beast together, and a litle childe shall leade them.
Şi lupul va locui cu mielul şi leopardul se va culca lângă ied; şi viţelul şi leul tânăr şi vitele îngrăşate împreună; şi un copilaş îi va conduce.
7 And the kow and the beare shall feede: their yong ones shall lie together: and the lyon shall eate strawe like the bullocke.
Şi vaca şi ursul vor paşte, micuţii lor se vor culca împreună, şi leul va mânca paie ca boul.
8 And the sucking childe shall play vpon the hole of the aspe, and the wained childe shall put his hand vpon the cockatrice hole.
Şi sugarul se va juca la vizuina aspidei şi copilul înţărcat îşi va întinde mâna în vizuina năpârcii.
9 Then shall none hurt nor destroy in all the mountaine of mine holines: for the earth shalbe full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters that couer the sea.
Ei nu vor răni, nici nu vor distruge pe tot muntele meu sfânt, fiindcă pământul va fi plin de cunoaşterea DOMNULUI, precum apele acoperă marea.
10 And in that day the roote of Ishai, which shall stand vp for a signe vnto the people, the nations shall seeke vnto it, and his rest shall be glorious.
Şi în acea zi va fi o rădăcină a lui Isai care va sta ca un însemn al popoarelor; la acesta vor căuta neamurile şi odihna lui va fi glorioasă.
11 And in the same day shall the Lord stretche out his hand againe the second time, to possesse the remnant of his people, (which shalbe left) of Asshur, and of Egypt, and of Pathros, and of Ethiopia, and of Elam, and of Shinear, and of Hamath, and of the yles of the sea.
Şi se va întâmpla, în acea zi, că Domnul îşi va întinde mâna din nou, a doua oară, pentru a recupera rămăşiţa poporului său, care va fi rămas, din Asiria şi din Egipt şi din Patros şi din Cuş şi din Elam şi din Şinar şi din Hamat şi din insulele mării.
12 And he shall set vp a signe to the nations, and assemble the dispersed of Israel, and gather the scattered of Iudah from the foure corners of the worlde.
Şi va înălţa un însemn pentru naţiuni şi va aduna pe proscrişii lui Israel şi va aduna pe cei răspândiţi ai lui Iuda din cele patru colţuri ale pământului.
13 The hatred also of Ephraim shall depart, and the aduersaries of Iudah shalbe cut off: Ephraim shall not enuie Iudah, neither shall Iudah vexe Ephraim:
Şi invidia lui Efraim se va depărta şi potrivnicii lui Iuda vor fi stârpiţi; Efraim nu va invidia pe Iuda şi Iuda nu va chinui pe Efraim.
14 But they shall flee vpon the shoulders of the Philistims toward the West: they shall spoyle them of the East together: Edom and Moab shall be the stretching out of their hands, and the children of Ammon in their obedience.
Ci ei vor zbura pe umerii filistenilor spre vest; îi vor prăda împreună pe cei din est, vor pune mâna pe Edom şi Moab; şi copiii lui Amon vor asculta de ei.
15 The Lord also shall vtterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptians sea, and with his mightie winde shall lift vp his hand ouer the riuer, and shall smite him in his seuen streames, and cause men to walke therein with shooes.
Şi DOMNUL va distruge cu desăvârşire limba mării egiptene; şi prin vântul lui puternic îşi va scutura mâna peste râu şi îl va lovi în cele şapte pâraie şi va face ca oamenii să îl treacă cu încălţăminte uscată.
16 And there shalbe a path to the remnant of his people, which are left of Asshur, like as it was vnto Israel in the day that he came vp out of the land of Egypt.
Şi va fi un drum mare pentru rămăşiţa poporului său care va rămâne din Asiria, aşa cum i-a fost lui Israel în ziua urcării lui din ţara Egiptului.
