Isaiah 11

1 But there shall come a rodde foorth of the stocke of Ishai, and a grasse shall growe out of his rootes.

۱ و نهالی از تنه یسی بیرون آمده، شاخه‌ای از ریشه هایش خواهدشکفت.

2 And the Spirite of the Lord shall rest vpon him: the Spirite of wisedome and vnderstanding, the Spirite of counsell and strength, the Spirite of knowledge, and of the feare of the Lord,

۲ و روح خداوند بر او قرار خواهدگرفت، یعنی روح حکمت و فهم و روح مشورت و قوت و روح معرفت و ترس خداوند.

3 And shall make him prudent in the feare of the Lord: for he shall not iudge after the sight of his eies, neither reproue by ye hearing of his eares.

۳ وخوشی او در ترس خداوند خواهد بود و موافق رویت چشم خود داوری نخواهد کرد و بر وفق سمع گوشهای خویش تنبیه نخواهد نمود.

4 But with righteousnesse shall he iudge the poore, and with equitie shall he reprooue for the meeke of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lippes shall he slay the wicked.

۴ بلکه مسکینان را به عدالت داوری خواهد کرد و به جهت مظلومان زمین براستی حکم خواهد نمود. و جهان را به عصای دهان خویش زده، شریران رابه نفخه لبهای خود خواهد کشت.

5 And iustice shall be ye girdle of his loynes, and faithfulnesse the girdle of his reines.

۵ و کمربندکمرش عدالت خواهد بود و کمربند میانش امانت.

6 The wolfe also shall dwell with the lambe, and the leopard shall lie with the kid, and the calfe, and the lyon, and the fat beast together, and a litle childe shall leade them.

۶ و گرگ با بره سکونت خواهد داشت و پلنگ با بزغاله خواهد خوابید و گوساله و شیر و پرواری با هم، و طفل کوچک آنها را خواهد راند.

7 And the kow and the beare shall feede: their yong ones shall lie together: and the lyon shall eate strawe like the bullocke.

۷ و گاوبا خرس خواهد چرید و بچه های آنها با هم خواهند خوابید و شیر مثل گاو کاه خواهد خورد.

8 And the sucking childe shall play vpon the hole of the aspe, and the wained childe shall put his hand vpon the cockatrice hole.

۸ و طفل شیرخواره بر سوراخ مار بازی خواهدکرد و طفل از شیر باز داشته شده دست خود را برخانه افعی خواهد گذاشت.

9 Then shall none hurt nor destroy in all the mountaine of mine holines: for the earth shalbe full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters that couer the sea.

۹ و در تمامی کوه مقدس من ضرر و فسادی نخواهند کرد زیرا که جهان از معرفت خداوند پر خواهد بود مثل آبهایی که دریا را می‌پوشاند.

10 And in that day the roote of Ishai, which shall stand vp for a signe vnto the people, the nations shall seeke vnto it, and his rest shall be glorious.

۱۰ و در آن روز واقع خواهد شد که ریشه یسی به جهت علم قوم‌ها برپا خواهد شد و امت هاآن را خواهند طلبید و سلامتی او با جلال خواهدبود.

11 And in the same day shall the Lord stretche out his hand againe the second time, to possesse the remnant of his people, (which shalbe left) of Asshur, and of Egypt, and of Pathros, and of Ethiopia, and of Elam, and of Shinear, and of Hamath, and of the yles of the sea.

۱۱ و در آن روز واقع خواهد گشت که خداوند بار دیگر دست خود را دراز کند تا بقیه قوم خویش را که از آشور و مصر و فتروس وحبش و عیلام و شنعار و حمات و از جزیره های دریا باقی‌مانده باشند باز آورد.

12 And he shall set vp a signe to the nations, and assemble the dispersed of Israel, and gather the scattered of Iudah from the foure corners of the worlde.

۱۲ و به جهت امت‌ها علمی برافراشته، رانده شدگان اسرائیل را جمع خواهد کرد، وپراکندگان یهودا را از چهار طرف جهان فراهم خواهد آورد.

13 The hatred also of Ephraim shall depart, and the aduersaries of Iudah shalbe cut off: Ephraim shall not enuie Iudah, neither shall Iudah vexe Ephraim:

۱۳ و حسد افرایم رفع خواهد شد ودشمنان یهودا منقطع خواهند گردید. افرایم بریهودا حسد نخواهد برد و یهودا افرایم را دشمنی نخواهد نمود.

14 But they shall flee vpon the shoulders of the Philistims toward the West: they shall spoyle them of the East together: Edom and Moab shall be the stretching out of their hands, and the children of Ammon in their obedience.

۱۴ و به‌جانب مغرب بر دوش فلسطینیان پریده، بنی مشرق را با هم غارت خواهند نمود. و دست خود را بر ادوم و موآب دراز کرده، بنی عمون ایشان را اطاعت خواهندکرد.

15 The Lord also shall vtterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptians sea, and with his mightie winde shall lift vp his hand ouer the riuer, and shall smite him in his seuen streames, and cause men to walke therein with shooes.

۱۵ و خداوند زبانه دریای مصر را تباه ساخته، دست خود را با باد سوزان بر نهر درازخواهد کرد، و آن را با هفت نهرش خواهد زد ومردم را با کفش به آن عبور خواهد داد.

16 And there shalbe a path to the remnant of his people, which are left of Asshur, like as it was vnto Israel in the day that he came vp out of the land of Egypt.

۱۶ و به جهت بقیه قوم او که از آشور باقی‌مانده باشند شاه راهی خواهد بود. چنانکه به جهت اسرائیل در روز بر‌آمدن ایشان از زمین مصربود.
