Hosea 9
1 Rejoice not, O Israel for ioy as other people: for thou hast gone a whoring from thy God: thou hast loued a rewarde vpon euery corne floore.
೧ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ಇತರ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಂತೆ ಮಿತಿಮೀರಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸಬೇಡ. ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಿ; ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಆಶಿಸಿದ್ದಿ.
2 The floore, and the wine presse shall not feede them, and the newe wine shall faile in her.
೨ಕಣವೂ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ತೊಟ್ಟಿಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಜೀವನ ಆಧಾರವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಹೊಸ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವುದು.
3 They wil not dwel in the Lordes lande, but Ephraim will returne to Egypt, and they will eate vncleane things in Asshur.
೩ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ವಾಸಿಸರು. ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ಯರು ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವರು, ಅಶ್ಶೂರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಹೊಲಸಾದ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವರು.
4 They shall not offer wine to the Lord, neither shall their sacrifices be pleasant vnto him: but they shall be vnto them as the bread of mourners: al that eate thereof, shalbe polluted: for their bread for their soules shall not come into the house of the Lord.
೪ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ನೈವೇದ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಸುರಿಯರು, ಅವರ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೆಯಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಆಹಾರವು ಸತ್ತವರ ಮನೆಯ ಆಹಾರದಂತಿರುವುದು; ಅದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಶುದ್ಧರಾಗುವರು, ಅದು ಅವರ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆತುಂಬುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವುದು, ಅದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲು ಯೋಗ್ಯವಲ್ಲ.
5 What wil ye do then in the solemne day, and in the day of the feast of the Lord?
೫ನೀವು ಹಬ್ಬದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಮಾಡುವಿರಿ?
6 For loe, they are gone from destruction: but Egypt shall gather them vp, and Memphis shall burie them: the nettle shall possesse the pleasant places of their siluer, and the thorne shall be in their tabernacles.
೬ಆಹಾ, ಅವರು ವಿನಾಶದ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಗುವರು; ಐಗುಪ್ತವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಮಶಾನವಾಗುವುದು, ಮೋಫ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡುವುದು; ಅವರ ಇಷ್ಟದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಒಡವೆಗಳು ಮುಳ್ಳು ಪೊದೆಗಳ ಪಾಲಾಗುವವು; ಮುಳ್ಳುಗಿಡಗಳು ಅವರ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವು.
7 The daies of visitation are come: the daies of recompence are come: Israel shall knowe it: the Prophet is a foole: the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of thine iniquitie: therefore the hatred is great.
೭ದಂಡನೆಯ ದಿನಗಳು ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಗಿದೆ, ಮುಯ್ಯಿತೀರಿಸುವ ದಿನಗಳು ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿವೆ. ಅದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅನುಭವಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದೇ ಬರುವವು; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಅಧರ್ಮವು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದಲೂ, ವಿರೋಧವು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದಲೂ, “ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ಮೂರ್ಖನು ಮತ್ತು ದೇವರಾತ್ಮ ಪ್ರೇರಿತನು ಹುಚ್ಚನು” ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀ.
8 The watchman of Ephraim shoulde bee with my God: but the Prophet is the snare of a fouler in all his waies, and hatred in the House of his God.
೮ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ನನ್ನ ದೇವರ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂಚು ಹಾಕುತ್ತದೆ; ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬೇಟೆಗಾರನ ಬಲೆಯು ಒಡ್ಡಿದೆ, ಅವನ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಶತ್ರುವಿನ ವಿರೋಧವು ಕಾದಿದೆ.
9 They are deepely set: they are corrupt as in the daies of Gibeah: therefore he will remember their iniquitie, he will visite their sinnes.
೯ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಿಬ್ಯದವರು ಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಂತೆ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ಯರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತೀರಾ ಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಅಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿದಂಡನೆ ಮಾಡುವನು.
10 I found Israel like grapes in the wildernes: I saw your fathers as the first ripe in the figge tree at her first time: but they went to Baal-Peor, and separated themselues vnto that shame, and their abominations were according to their louers.
೧೦ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಹಣ್ಣು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದಂತೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲು ನನಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು; ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಫಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ಅಂಜೂರದ ಗಿಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲು ಮಾಗಿದ ಹಣ್ಣನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಬಾಳ್ ಪೆಗೋರಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಬಾಳ್ ದೇವತೆಯ ಭಕ್ತರಾಗಿ ದೀಕ್ಷೆಗೊಂಡು, ತಾವು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದ ದೇವತೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯರಾದರು.
11 Ephraim their glorie shall flee away like a birde: from the birth and from the wombe, and from the conception.
೧೧ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ಯರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯು ಪಕ್ಷಿಯಂತೆ ಹಾರಿಹೋಗುವುದು; ಯಾರೂ ಹೆರರು, ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಗರ್ಭಧರಿಸರು.
12 Though they bring vp their children, yet I will depriue them from being men: yea, woe to them, when I depart from them.
೧೨ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತು ಸಾಕಿದರೂ, ಯಾರೂ ಉಳಿಯದಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪುತ್ರ ಶೋಕವನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತಲೇ ಬರುವೆನು; ಹೌದು, ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿಮುಖನಾಗಲು ಅವರ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲಿ!
13 Ephraim, as I sawe, is as a tree in Tyrus planted in a cottage: but Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murtherer.
೧೩ತೂರು ಹೇಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತದೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ಹುಲ್ಗಾವಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಟ್ಟಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಆದರೆ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ತನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ಯಗೆ ಈಡಾಗುವಂತೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವುದು.
14 O Lord, giue them: what wilt thou giue them? giue them a baren wombe and drie breasts.
೧೪ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸು; ಏನು ವಿಧಿಸುತ್ತೀಯೋ? ಅವರಿಗೆ ಗರ್ಭಸ್ರಾವವನ್ನು ಮಾಡು, ಮೊಲೆಯನ್ನು ಬತ್ತಿಸು.
15 All their wickednesse is in Gilgal: for there doe I hate them: for the wickednesse of their inuentions, I will cast them out of mine House: I will loue them no more: all their princes are rebels.
೧೫ಅವರ ದುಷ್ಟತನವು ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಿದೆ; ಅಲ್ಲೇ ನನ್ನ ದ್ವೇಷಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ನಿವಾಸದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು; ಅವರನ್ನು ಇನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸೆನು; ಅವರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳೇ ಸರಿ.
16 Ephraim is smitten, their roote is dried vp: they can bring no fruite: yea, though they bring foorth, yet will I slaie euen the dearest of their bodie.
೧೬ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಘಾತವಾಗಿದೆ; ಅವರ ವಂಶಮೂಲವು ಒಣಗಿಹೋಗಿದೆ. ಅವರು ಫಲಹೀನರಾಗುವರು; ಹೌದು, ಅವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತರೂ ಅವರ ಗರ್ಭದ ಪ್ರಿಯಫಲವನ್ನು ಸಾಯಿಸುವೆನು.
17 My God will cast them away, because they did not obey him: and they shall wander among the nations.
೧೭ನನ್ನ ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಡುವನು; ಅವರು ಆತನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರಿಗೆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ಗತಿಯಾಗುವುದು.
