Hosea 5
1 O ye Priestes, heare this, and hearken ye, O house of Israel, and giue ye eare, O house of the King: for iudgement is towarde you, because you haue bene a snare on Mizpah, and a net spred vpon Tabor.
| ای کاهنان این را بشنوید و‌ای خاندان اسرائیل اصغا نمایید و‌ای خاندان پادشاهان گوش گیرید، زیرا که این فتوی برای شماست چونکه شما در مصفه دام شدید و توری گسترده شده، بر تابور. | ۱ |
2 Yet they were profounde, to decline to slaughter, though I haue bene a rebuker of them all.
| عاصیان در کشتار مبالغه نموده‌اند؛ پس من همگی ایشان را تادیب خواهم نمود. | ۲ |
3 I knowe Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for nowe, O Ephraim thou art become an harlot, and Israel is defiled.
| من افرایم را می‌شناسم و اسرائیل از من مخفی نیست زیرا که حال، تو‌ای افرایم مرتکب زنا شده‌ای و اسرائیل خویشتن را نجس ساخته است. | ۳ |
4 They will not giue their mindes to turne vnto their God: for the spirit of fornication is in the middes of them, and they haue not knowen the Lord.
| کارهای ایشان مانع می‌شود که بسوی خدا بازگشت نمایند چونکه روح زناکاری درقلب ایشان است و خداوند را نمی شناسند. | ۴ |
5 And the pride of Israel doth testifie to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquitie: Iudah also shall fall with them.
| وفخر اسرائیل پیش روی ایشان شهادت می‌دهد. اسرائیل و افرایم در گناه خود می‌لغزند و یهودانیز همراه ایشان خواهد لغزید. | ۵ |
6 They shall goe with their sheepe, and with their bullockes to seeke the Lord: but they shall not finde him: for he hath withdrawne himselfe from them.
| گوسفندان وگاوان خود را می‌آورند تا خداوند را بطلبند، اما اورا نخواهند یافت چونکه خود را از ایشان دورساخته است. | ۶ |
7 They haue transgressed against the Lord: for they haue begotte strange children: now shall a moneth deuoure them with their portions.
| به خداوند خیانت ورزیده‌اند زیرافرزندان اجنبی تولید نموده‌اند. الان هلالها ایشان را با ملکهای ایشان خواهد بلعید. | ۷ |
8 Blowe ye the trumpet in Gibeah, and the shaume in Ramah: crie out at Beth-auen, after thee, O Beniamin.
| در جبعه کرنا و در رامه سرنا بنوازید و دربیت آون صدا بزنید در عقب تو‌ای بنیامین. | ۸ |
9 Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel haue I caused to knowe the trueth.
| افرایم در روز عتاب خراب خواهد شد. در میان اسباط اسرائیل به یقین اعلام نمودم. | ۹ |
10 The princes of Iudah were like them that remoue the bounde: therefore will I powre out my wrath vpon them like water.
| سروران اسرائیل مثل نقل کنندگان حدود می‌باشند. پس خشم خویش را مثل آب بر ایشان خواهم ریخت. | ۱۰ |
11 Ephraim is oppressed, and broken in iudgement, because he willingly walked after the commandement.
| افرایم مقهور شده و در داوری کوفته گردیده است زیرا که به پیروی تقالید خرسندمی باشد. | ۱۱ |
12 Therefore wil I be vnto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Iudah as a rottennesse.
| بنابراین من برای افرایم مثل بیدشده‌ام و برای خاندان یهودا مانند پوسیدگی. | ۱۲ |
13 When Ephraim sawe his sickenes, and Iudah his wound, then went Ephraim vnto Asshur, and sent vnto King Iareb: yet coulde hee not heale you, nor cure you of your wound.
| چون افرایم بیماری خود را و یهودا جراحت خویش را دیدند، افرایم به آشور رفته و نزدپادشاهی که دشمن بود فرستاده است اما او شمارا شفا نمی تواند داد و جراحت شما را التیام نتواند نمود. | ۱۳ |
14 For I will be vnto Ephraim as a lyon, and as a lyons whelpe to the house of Iudah: I, euen I will spoyle, and goe away: I will take away, and none shall rescue it.
| و من برای افرایم مثل شیر و برای خاندان یهودا مانند شیر ژیان خواهم بود. من خودم خواهم درید و رفته خواهم ربود ورهاننده‌ای نخواهد بود. | ۱۴ |
15 I will go, and returne to my place, til they acknowledge their fault, and seeke me: in their affliction they will seeke me diligently.
| من روانه شده، به مکان خود خواهم برگشت تا ایشان به عصیان خوداعتراف نموده، روی مرا بطلبند. در تنگی خودصبح زود مرا خواهند طلبید. | ۱۵ |
