Hosea 11
1 When Israel was a childe, then I loued him, and called my sonne out of Egypt.
“जब इस्राएल बालक था, मैंने उससे प्रेम किया, और मिस्र देश से मैंने अपने पुत्र को बुलाया.
2 They called them, but they went thus from them: they sacrificed vnto Baalim, and burnt incense to images.
पर जितना ज्यादा उनको बुलाया गया, उतना ज्यादा वे मुझसे दूर होते गये. वे बाल देवताओं के लिये बलि चढ़ाते थे और उन्होंने मूर्तियों के आगे धूप जलाया है.
3 I ledde Ephraim also, as one shoulde beare them in his armes: but they knewe not that I healed them.
वह मैं ही था, जिसने एफ्राईम को हाथ पकड़कर चलना सिखाया; परंतु उन्होंने इस बात को न जाना कि वह मैं ही था, जिसने उन्हें चंगा किया.
4 I led them with cordes of a man, euen with bandes of loue, and I was to them, as hee that taketh off the yoke from their iawes, and I laide the meat vnto them.
मैंने मानवीय दया की डोरी, और प्रेम के बंधन से उनकी अगुवाई की. उनके लिये मैं वैसा था जैसे कोई छोटे बच्चे को गाल तक उठाता है, और मैं झुककर उन्हें खाना खिलाता था.
5 He shall no more returne into the lande of Egypt: but Asshur shalbe his King, because they refused to conuert.
“क्या वे मिस्र देश नहीं लौटेंगे और अश्शूर का राजा उन पर शासन नहीं करेगा क्योंकि वे प्रायश्चित करना नहीं चाहते?
6 And the sworde shall fall on his cities, and shall consume his barres, and deuoure them, because of their owne counsels.
उनके शहरों में एक तलवार चमकेगी; वह उनके झूठे भविष्यवक्ताओं को मार डालेगी और उनकी योजनाओं का अंत कर देगी.
7 And my people are bent to rebellion against me: though they called them to the most hie, yet none at all would exalt him.
मेरे लोग मुझसे दूर जाने का ठान लिये हैं. यद्यपि वे मुझे सर्वोच्च परमेश्वर कहते हैं, मैं उनकी किसी भी प्रकार से प्रशंसा नहीं करूंगा.
8 Howe shall I giue thee vp, Ephraim? howe shall I deliuer thee, Israel? how shall I make thee, as Admah? howe shall I set thee, as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within mee: my repentings are rouled together.
“हे एफ्राईम, मैं तुम्हें कैसे छोड़ सकता हूं? हे इस्राएल, मैं तुम्हें किसी और को सौंप दूं? मैं तुम्हारे साथ अदमाह के जैसे व्यवहार कैसे कर सकता हूं? मैं तुम्हें ज़ेबोईम के समान कैसे बना सकता हूं? मेरा हृदय मेरे भीतर बदल गया है; मेरी सारी करुणा जागृत होती है.
9 I wil not execute ye fiercenesse of my wrath: I will not returne to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man, the holy one in the middes of thee, and I will not enter into the citie.
मैं अपने भयंकर क्रोध के अनुसार नहीं करूंगा, न ही मैं एफ्राईम को फिर से नाश करूंगा. क्योंकि मैं परमेश्वर हूं, मनुष्य नहीं— तुम्हारे बीच एक पवित्र जन. मैं उनके शहरों के विरुद्ध नहीं आऊंगा.
10 They shall walke after the Lord: he shall roare like a lyon: when hee shall roare, then the children of the West shall feare.
वे याहवेह के पीछे चलेंगे; याहवेह एक-एक सिंह के समान गरजेंगे. जब वह गरजेंगे, तो उनकी संतान कांपती हुई पश्चिम दिशा से आएंगी.
11 They shall feare as a sparrow out of Egypt, and as a doue of the lande of Asshur, and I will place them in their houses, sayth the Lord.
वे मिस्र देश से, गौरेया पक्षी की तरह कांपती हुई, और अश्शूर देश से पंड़की की तरह पंख फड़फड़ाते हुए आएंगी. मैं उन्हें उनके घरों में बसाऊंगा,” याहवेह घोषणा करते हैं.
12 Ephraim copasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Iudah yet ruleth with God, and is faithfull with the Saints.
एफ्राईम ने मेरे चारों ओर झूठ का, और इस्राएल ने छल का ढेर लगा दिया है. और यहूदाह उद्दंडता से परमेश्वर के विरुद्ध है, और तो और वह विश्वासयोग्य पवित्र जन के विरुद्ध है.
