Hosea 11
1 When Israel was a childe, then I loued him, and called my sonne out of Egypt.
Kiam Izrael estis junulo, Mi lin ekamis, kaj el Egiptujo Mi vokis Mian filon.
2 They called them, but they went thus from them: they sacrificed vnto Baalim, and burnt incense to images.
Sed nun oni vokas ilin, kaj ili sin deturnas; al la Baaloj ili oferas, kaj al idoloj ili incensas.
3 I ledde Ephraim also, as one shoulde beare them in his armes: but they knewe not that I healed them.
Mi instruis al Efraim la iradon; Mi prenis ilin je la brako, kaj ili ne rimarkis, ke Mi ilin kuracas.
4 I led them with cordes of a man, euen with bandes of loue, and I was to them, as hee that taketh off the yoke from their iawes, and I laide the meat vnto them.
Per ŝnuroj de homoj Mi tiris ilin, per ligiloj de amo; Mi estis por ili kiel levanto de la jugo, kaj Mi metis antaŭ ili la manĝaĵon.
5 He shall no more returne into the lande of Egypt: but Asshur shalbe his King, because they refused to conuert.
Ili ne revenos en la landon Egiptan, sed Asirio estos ilia reĝo, ĉar ili ne volis penti.
6 And the sworde shall fall on his cities, and shall consume his barres, and deuoure them, because of their owne counsels.
Glavo falos sur liajn urbojn kaj ekstermos liajn idojn kaj formanĝos ilin pro iliaj entreprenoj.
7 And my people are bent to rebellion against me: though they called them to the most hie, yet none at all would exalt him.
Mia popolo rigidiĝis en la defalo de Mi; kaj kvankam oni ĝin vokas al la Plejaltulo, ĝi ne levas sin.
8 Howe shall I giue thee vp, Ephraim? howe shall I deliuer thee, Israel? how shall I make thee, as Admah? howe shall I set thee, as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within mee: my repentings are rouled together.
Kiel Mi agu kun vi, ho Efraim? kiel Mi protektu vin, ho Izrael? Ĉu Mi faru al vi, kiel al Adma? ĉu Mi egaligu vin al Ceboim? Renversiĝis en Mi Mia koro, varmegiĝis Mia tuta kompato.
9 I wil not execute ye fiercenesse of my wrath: I will not returne to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man, the holy one in the middes of thee, and I will not enter into the citie.
Mi ne agos laŭ Mia flama kolero, Mi ne plu ekstermos Efraimon; ĉar Mi estas Dio, ne homo, Mi estas Sanktulo inter vi; Mi ne venos en furiozo.
10 They shall walke after the Lord: he shall roare like a lyon: when hee shall roare, then the children of the West shall feare.
La Eternulon ili sekvos, kiel kriantan leonon; kiam Li krios, tiam timigite venos la filoj de okcidente.
11 They shall feare as a sparrow out of Egypt, and as a doue of the lande of Asshur, and I will place them in their houses, sayth the Lord.
Timigite kiel birdo ili venos el Egiptujo, kaj kiel kolombo el la lando Asiria; kaj Mi enloĝigos ilin en iliaj domoj, diras la Eternulo.
12 Ephraim copasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Iudah yet ruleth with God, and is faithfull with the Saints.
Kun mensogoj ĉirkaŭis Min Efraim, kaj kun falsaĵo la domo de Izrael; sed Jehuda ankoraŭ tenis sin je Dio kaj estis fidela al la Sanktulo.
