Hebrews 1

1 At sundry times and in diuers maners God spake in the olde time to our fathers by the Prophetes:

ദൈവം പൂർവകാലത്ത് പ്രവാചകന്മാരിലൂടെ പല അംശങ്ങളായും പലവിധങ്ങളിലും നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോട് സംസാരിച്ചു.

2 in these last dayes hee hath spoken vnto vs by his Sonne, Whom he hath made heire of al things, by whome also he made the worldes, (aiōn g165)

എന്നാൽ, ഈ അന്തിമനാളുകളിൽ സ്വപുത്രനിലൂടെ നമ്മോട് സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ദൈവം അവിടത്തെ പുത്രനെ സകലത്തിനും അവകാശിയാക്കി നിയമിച്ചു. അവിടന്ന് ലോകസൃഷ്ടി ചെയ്തതും പുത്രനിലൂടെയാണ്. (aiōn g165)

3 Who being the brightnes of the glory, and the ingraued forme of his person, and bearing vp all things by his mightie worde, hath by himselfe purged our sinnes, and sitteth at the right hand of the Maiestie in the highest places,

ദൈവപുത്രൻ ദൈവമഹത്ത്വത്തിന്റെ തേജസ്സും ദൈവസത്തയുടെ യഥാർഥ പ്രതിബിംബവും ആണ്. സകലത്തെയും തന്റെ ശക്തിയുള്ള വചനത്താൽ അവിടന്ന് നിലനിർത്തുന്നു. മനുഷ്യന്റെ പാപങ്ങൾക്കു ശുദ്ധീകരണം വരുത്തിയശേഷം അവിടന്ന് പരമോന്നതങ്ങളിൽ മഹിമയുടെ വലതുഭാഗത്ത് ഉപവിഷ്ടനായി.

4 And is made so much more excellent then the Angels, in as much as hee hath obteined a more excellent Name then they.

ദൈവദൂതന്മാരെക്കാൾ പരമോന്നതനായിരിക്കുകയാൽ, അവരുടെ നാമത്തെക്കാൾ ഔന്നത്യമേറിയ നാമത്തിന് അവകാശിയുമായി അവിടന്ന് തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

5 For vnto which of the Angels saide he at any time, Thou art my Sonne, this day begate I thee? and againe, I will be his Father, and he shalbe my Sonne?

ദൈവം ദൂതന്മാരിൽ ആരോടെങ്കിലും, “നീ എന്റെ പുത്രൻ; ഇന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്റെ പിതാവായിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നും “ഞാൻ അവന്റെ പിതാവും അവൻ എന്റെ പുത്രനും ആയിരിക്കും” എന്നും എപ്പോഴെങ്കിലും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടോ?

6 And againe, when he bringeth in his first begotten Sonne into the worlde, hee saith, And let all the Angels of God worship him.

മാത്രമല്ല, “സകലദൈവദൂതന്മാരും, അവിടത്തെ വണങ്ങുക” എന്ന് ആജ്ഞാപിച്ചുകൊണ്ടാണ് ദൈവം അവിടത്തെ ആദ്യജാതന് ഈ ലോകത്തിലേക്കു പ്രവേശനം നൽകുന്നത്.

7 And of the Angels he saith, He maketh the spirites his messengers, and his ministers a flame of fire.

ദൂതന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ച് ദൈവം “തന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരെ കാറ്റുകളായും സേവകരെ അഗ്നിജ്വാലകളായും മാറ്റുന്നു.” എന്ന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

8 But vnto the Sonne he saith, O God, thy throne is for euer and euer: the scepter of thy kingdome is a scepter of righteousnes. (aiōn g165)

എന്നാൽ പുത്രനെക്കുറിച്ചാകട്ടെ: “ദൈവമേ, അവിടത്തെ സിംഹാസനം എന്നെന്നേക്കും നിലനിൽക്കും; അങ്ങയുടെ രാജ്യത്തിൻ ചെങ്കോൽ നീതിയുള്ള ചെങ്കോൽ ആയിരിക്കും. (aiōn g165)

9 Thou hast loued righteousnes and hated iniquitie. Wherefore God, eue thy God, hath anointed thee with the oyle of gladnes aboue thy fellowes.

അങ്ങു നീതിയെ സ്നേഹിക്കുകയും ദുഷ്ടതയെ വെറുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ട് ദൈവം, ആനന്ദതൈലംകൊണ്ട് അങ്ങയെ അഭിഷേകംചെയ്ത് അങ്ങയുടെ സഹകാരികളെക്കാൾ ഏറ്റവും ഉന്നതമായ സ്ഥാനം അങ്ങേക്കു നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നു.”

10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast established the earth, and the heauens are the workes of thine handes.

മാത്രവുമല്ല, “കർത്താവേ, ആദിയിൽ അവിടന്ന് ഭൂമിക്ക് അടിസ്ഥാനമിട്ടു. ആകാശവും അവിടത്തെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിതന്നെ.

11 They shall perish, but thou doest remaine: and they all shall waxe olde as doeth a garment.

അവ നശിച്ചുപോകും. എന്നാൽ, അങ്ങ് നിലനിൽക്കും; അവയെല്ലാം ഒരു വസ്ത്രംപോലെതന്നെ പിഞ്ചിപ്പോകും.

12 And as a vesture shalt thou folde them vp, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy yeeres shall not faile.

അങ്ങ് അവയെ ഒരു പുതപ്പുപോലെ ചുരുട്ടും; വസ്ത്രം മാറുന്നതുപോലെ അവ മാറ്റപ്പെടും. എന്നാൽ അങ്ങ് സുസ്ഥിരനായി നിലകൊള്ളും; അങ്ങയുടെ സംവത്സരങ്ങൾ ഒരിക്കലും അവസാനിക്കുകയുമില്ല.”

13 Vnto which also of the Angels saide he at any time, Sit at my right hand, til I make thine enemies thy footestoole?

ദൈവം ദൂതന്മാരിൽ ആരോടെങ്കിലും, “ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ നിന്റെ ചവിട്ടടിയിലാക്കുംവരെ നീ എന്റെ വലതുഭാഗത്ത് ഉപവിഷ്ടനാകുക” എന്ന് എപ്പോഴെങ്കിലും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടോ?

14 Are they not al ministring spirits, sent forth to minister, for their sakes which shalbe heires of saluation?

ദൂതന്മാരെല്ലാവരും, രക്ഷപ്രാപിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്യുന്നതിനായി നിയോഗിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന സേവകാത്മാക്കളാണല്ലോ?
