Haggai 2
1 In the seuenth moneth, in the one and twentieth day of the moneth, came the worde of the Lord by the ministerie of the Prophet Haggai, saying,
En el mes séptimo, a los veinte y uno, fue palabra de Jehová por mano del profeta Aggeo, diciendo:
2 Speake nowe to Zerubbabel the sonne of Shealtiel prince of Iudah, and to Iehoshua the sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,
Habla ahora a Zorobabel, hijo de Salatiel, gobernador de Judá, y a Josué, hijo de Josedec, gran sacerdote, y al resto del pueblo, diciendo:
3 Who is left among you, that sawe this House in her first glory, and howe doe you see it nowe? is it not in your eyes, in comparison of it as nothing?
¿Quién ha quedado entre vosotros que haya visto esta casa en su primera gloria, y cual ahora la veis? ¿Ella no es como nada delante de vuestros ojos?
4 Yet nowe be of good courage, O Zerubbabel, sayth the Lord, and be of good comfort, O Iehoshua, sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest: and be strong, all ye people of the land, sayth the Lord, and doe it: for I am with you, sayth the Lord of hostes,
Ahora pues, esfuérzate, Zorobabel, dijo Jehová: esfuérzate también, Josué, hijo de Josedec, gran sacerdote; y esfuérzate todo el pueblo de esta tierra, dijo Jehová, y obrád; porque yo soy con vosotros, dijo Jehová de los ejércitos.
5 According to the worde that I couenanted with you, when ye came out of Egypt: so my Spirite shall remaine among you, feare ye not.
La palabra que concerté con vosotros en vuestra salida de Egipto, y mi Espíritu está en medio de vosotros: no temáis.
6 For thus sayth the Lord of hostes, Yet a litle while, and I will shake the heauens and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land:
Porque así dijo Jehová de los ejércitos: De aquí a poco yo haré temblar los cielos, y la tierra, y la mar, y la seca.
7 And I will moue all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come, and I will fill this House with glory, sayth the Lord of hostes.
Y haré temblar a todas naciones, y vendrá el Deseado de todas las naciones; y henchiré esta casa de gloria, dijo Jehová de los ejércitos.
8 The siluer is mine, and the golde is mine, sayth the Lord of hostes.
Mía es la plata, y mío es el oro, dijo Jehová de los ejércitos.
9 The glory of this last House shall be greater then the first, sayth the Lord of hostes: and in this place will I giue peace, sayth the Lord of hostes.
La gloria de aquesta casa postrera será mayor que la de la primera, dijo Jehová de los ejércitos; y daré paz en este lugar, dijo Jehová de los ejércitos.
10 In the foure and twentieth day of the ninth moneth, in the second yeere of Darius, came the worde of the Lord vnto the Prophet Haggai, saying,
En veinte y cuatro del noveno mes, en el segundo año de Darío, fue palabra de Jehová por mano del profeta Aggeo, diciendo:
11 Thus sayth the Lord of hostes, Aske nowe the Priests concerning the Law, and say,
Así dijo Jehová de los ejércitos: Ahora pregunta a los sacerdotes acerca de la ley, diciendo:
12 If one beare holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt doe touch the bread, or the potage, or the wine, or oyle, or any meate, shall it be holy? And the Priests answered and said, No.
¿Si llevare alguno las carnes sagradas en el canto de su ropa, y con el canto de su capa tocare el pan, o la vianda, o el vino, o el aceite, o otra cualquiera comida, será santificado? Y respondieron los sacerdotes, y dijeron: No.
13 Then sayde Haggai, If a polluted person touch any of these, shall it be vncleane? And the Priests answered, and sayd, It shalbe vncleane.
Y dijo Aggeo: ¿Si algún inmundo a causa de cuerpo muerto tocare alguna cosa de estas, será inmunda? Y respondieron los sacerdotes, y dijeron: Inmunda será.
14 Then answered Haggai, and sayd, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the Lord: and so are all the workes of their hands, and that which they offer here, is vncleane.
Y respondió Aggeo, y dijo: Así este pueblo, y esta nación es delante de mí, dijo Jehová; y asimismo toda obra de sus manos, y todo lo que aquí ofrecen, es inmundo.
15 And nowe, I pray you, consider in your mindes: from this day, and afore, euen afore a stone was layde vpon a stone in the Temple of the Lord:
Ahora pues ponéd vuestro corazón desde este día en adelante. Antes que pusiesen piedra sobre piedra en el templo de Jehová:
16 Before these things were, when one came to an heape of twentie measures, there were but ten: when one came to the wine presse for to drawe out fiftie vessels out of the presse, there were but twentie.
Antes que fuesen, venían al montón de veinte fanegas, y había diez: venían al lagar para sacar cincuenta cántaros del lagar, y había veinte.
17 I smote you with blasting, and with mildewe, and with haile, in all the labours of your hands: yet you turned not to me, saith the Lord.
Heríos con viento solano, y con tizoncillo, y con granizo, a vosotros, y a toda obra de vuestras manos, como si no fuerais míos, dijo Jehová:
18 Consider, I pray you, in your mindes, from this day, and afore from the foure and twentieth day of the ninth moneth, euen from the day that the foundation of the Lords Temple was laide: consider it in your mindes.
Ponéd pues ahora vuestro corazón desde este día en adelante, es a saber, desde el día veinte y cuatro del noveno mes, que es desde el día que se echó el cimiento al templo de Jehová, ponéd vuestro corazón.
19 Is the seede yet in the barne? as yet the vine, and the figtree, and the pomegranate, and the oliue tree hath not brought forth: from this day will I blesse you.
¿La simiente no está aun en el granero? ni aun la vid, ni la higuera, ni el granado, ni el árbol de la oliva ha metido: mas desde aqueste día daré bendición.
20 And againe the worde of the Lord came vnto Haggai in the foure and twentieth day of the moneth, saying,
Y fue palabra de Jehová la segunda vez a Aggeo a los veinte y cuatro del mismo mes, diciendo:
21 Speake to Zerubbabel the prince of Iudah, and say, I wil shake the heauens and the earth,
Habla a Zorobabel, gobernador de Judá, diciendo: Yo hago temblar los cielos y la tierra;
22 And I will ouerthrowe the throne of kingdomes, and I wil destroy the strength of the kingdomes of the heathen, and I wil ouerthrowe the charets, and those that ride in them, and the horse and the riders shall come downe, euery one by the sword of his brother.
Y trastornaré el trono de los reinos, y destruiré la fuerza del reino de las gentes; y trastornaré el carro y los que en él suben, y descenderán los caballos y los que en ellos suben, cada cual con la espada de su hermano.
23 In that day, saith the Lord of hostes, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel my seruant, the sonne of Shealtiel, sayth the Lord, and wil make thee as a signet: for I haue chosen thee, sayth the Lord of hostes.
En aquel día, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, te tomaré, o! Zorobabel, hijo de Salatiel, siervo mío, dijo Jehová, y ponerte he como anillo de sellar; porque yo te escogí, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.
