< Habakkuk 1 >
1 The burden, which Habakkuk the Prophet did see.
Ti waragawag a naawat ni Habakkuk a profeta:
2 O Lord, howe long shall I crye, and thou wilt not heare! euen crye out vnto thee for violence, and thou wilt not helpe!
“O Yahweh, kasano kabayag ti panagas-asugko, ket saanmo a denggen? Nagkiddawak kenka nga addaan panagbuteng, 'Kinaranggas!' ngem saannak nga isalakan!
3 Why doest thou shewe mee iniquitie, and cause me to beholde sorowe? for spoyling, and violence are before me: and there are that rayse vp strife and contention.
Apay nga ipapakkitam kaniak ti kinadakes ken saan nga umno nga aramid? Ti pannakadadael ken kinaranggas ket adda iti sangoanak; adda panagraranget ken rumsua ti panagaapa!
4 Therefore the Lawe is dissolued, and iudgement doeth neuer go forth: for the wicked doeth compasse about the righteous: therefore wrong iudgement proceedeth.
Ngarud, nakapsuten ti linteg, ket saanen nga agbayag ti hustisia iti aniaman a tiempo. Ta pinalawlawan dagiti nadangkes dagiti nalinteg; isu a rimsua ti saan a pudno a hustisia.” Simmungbat ni Yahweh kenni Habakkuk.
5 Beholde among the heathen, and regarde, and wonder, and maruaile: for I will worke a worke in your dayes: yee will not beleeue it, though it be tolde you.
Kitaem dagiti nasion ket sukimatem ida; maklaat ken masdaawka! Gapu ta sigurado nga umadanin nga aramidek kadagiti aldawmo a saanmonto a patien inton maipadamag kenka daytoy.
6 For lo, I raise vp the Caldeans, that bitter and furious nation, which shall goe vpon the breadth of the lande to possesse the dwelling places, that are not theirs.
Ta kitaem! umadanin a patakderek dagiti Caldeo—dayta naulpit ken naranggas a nasion—agmarmartsada iti entero a daga tapno agtagikua kadagiti balay a saanda a kukua.
7 They are terrible and fearefull: their iudgement and their dignitie shall proceede of theselues.
Nakaam-amak ken nakabutbutengda; ti panangukom ken ti kinatan-okda ket agtaud kadakuada!
8 Their horses also are swifter then the leopards, and are more fierce then the wolues in the euening: and their horsemen are many: and their horsemen shall come from farre: they shall flie as the eagle hasting to meate.
Naparpardas dagiti kabalioda ngem dagiti leopardo, naparpartak ngem kadagiti lobo iti rabii! Isu a bumaddek dagiti kabalioda, ken aggapu iti nakaad-adayo dagiti kumakabalioda a lallaki—tumayabda a kasla maysa nga agila a magagaran a mangan!
9 They come all to spoyle: before their faces shalbe an Eastwinde, and they shall gather the captiuitie, as the sand.
Umayda amin para iti kinaranggas, ti kinaaduda nga umay ket kasla angin iti disierto, ket urnongenda dagiti balud a kasla darat!
10 And they shall mocke the Kings, and the princes shalbe a skorne vnto them: they shall deride euery strong holde: for they shall gather dust, and take it.
Isu a lalaisenda dagiti ari, ket rabrabak laeng kadakuada dagiti mangiturturay! Katkatawaanda ti tunggal sarikedked, ta paggabsuonenda ti daga ket alaenda dagitoy!
11 Then shall they take a courage, and transgresse and doe wickedly, imputing this their power vnto their god.
Ket lumabas a dagus ti angin; lumabas daytoy—managbasol a lallaki, a ti diosda ket ti kinamaingelda!” Nagdamag ni Habakkuk kenni Yahweh iti maysa pay a saludsod.
12 Art thou not of olde, O Lord my God, mine holy one? we shall not die: O Lord, thou hast ordeined them for iudgement, and O God, thou hast established them for correction.
“Saanka kadi a naggapu iti un-unana a tiempo, O Yahweh a Diosko, a kasasantoan? Saankaminto a matay. Sika O Yahweh ti nangdutok kadakuada para iti panangukom ken sika, a dakkel unay a Bato, ti nangisaad kadakuada para iti panangpalinteg!
13 Thou art of pure eyes, and canst not see euill: thou canst not behold wickednesse: wherefore doest thou looke vpon the transgressors, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked deuoureth the man, that is more righteous then he?
Nadalus unay dagiti matam tapno kumita iti dakes, ken saanmo a kabaelan ti kumita iti dakes nga aramid nga addaan pabor; apay ngarud a pabpaburam dagiti mangliliput? Apay a naulimekka kabayatan nga al-alun-onen dagiti nadangkes dagiti nalinlinteg ngem kadakuada?
14 And makest men as the fishes of the sea, and as the creeping things, that haue no ruler ouer them.
Pinagbalinmo a kasla ikan iti baybay dagiti tattao, kas kadagiti agkarkarayam a banbanag nga awan ti mangiturturay kadakuada.
15 They take vp all with the angle: they catch it in their net, and gather it in their yarne, whereof they reioyce and are glad.
Iyaonda amin ida babaen iti banniit; iguyodda dagiti tattao kadagiti iket ket urnongenda ida iti iket a pagur-urnonganda. Daytoy ti makagapu no apay nga agragragsakda ken agpukpukkawda a sirarag-o!
16 Therefore they sacrifice vnto their net, and burne incense vnto their yarne, because by them their portion is fat and their meat plenteous.
Isu nga agidatonda iti iket a pagkalkalapda ken agpuorda pay ti insenso iti iket a pagur-urnonganda, ta dagiti napalukmeg a narungsot nga ayup ti bingayda ken ti nalukmeg a karne ti taraonda!
17 Shall they therefore stretch out their net and not spare continually to slay the nations?
Ikkatenda kadi ti nagian ti iketda ket ituloyda a papatayen nga awanan asi dagiti nasion?”
