Genesis 1
1 In the beginning God created the heauen and the earth.
| در ابتدا، خدا آسمانها و زمین را آفرید. | ۱ |
2 And the earth was without forme and void, and darkenesse was vpon the deepe, and the Spirit of God mooued vpon the waters.
| وزمین تهی و بایر بود و تاریکی بر روی لجه. و روح خدا سطح آبها را فرو گرفت. | ۲ |
3 Then God said, Let there be light: And there was light.
| و خدا گفت: «روشنایی بشود.» و روشنایی شد. | ۳ |
4 And God saw the light that it was good, and God separated the light from the darkenes.
| و خدا روشنایی را دید که نیکوست و خداروشنایی را از تاریکی جدا ساخت. | ۴ |
5 And God called the Light, Day, and the darkenes, he called Night. So the euening and the morning were the first day.
| و خداروشنایی را روز نامید و تاریکی را شب نامید. وشام بود و صبح بود، روزی اول. | ۵ |
6 Againe God said, Let there be a firmament in the mids of the waters: and let it separate the waters from the waters.
| و خدا گفت: «فلکی باشد در میان آبها و آبهارا از آبها جدا کند.» | ۶ |
7 Then God made the firmament, and separated the waters, which were vnder the firmament, from the waters which were aboue the firmament: and it was so.
| و خدا فلک را بساخت وآبهای زیر فلک را از آبهای بالای فلک جدا کرد. و چنین شد. | ۷ |
8 And God called the firmament Heauen. So the Euening and the morning were the second day.
| و خدا فلک را آسمان نامید. و شام بود و صبح بود، روزی دوم. | ۸ |
9 God said againe, Let the waters vnder the heauen be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appeare. and it was so.
| و خدا گفت: «آبهای زیر آسمان در یکجاجمع شود و خشکی ظاهر گردد.» و چنین شد. | ۹ |
10 And God called the dry land, Earth, and he called the gathering together of the waters, Seas: and God saw that it was good.
| و خدا خشکی را زمین نامید و اجتماع آبها رادریا نامید. و خدا دید که نیکوست. | ۱۰ |
11 Then God said, Let the earth bud forth the bud of the herbe, that seedeth seed, the fruitfull tree, which beareth fruite according to his kinde, which hath his seede in it selfe vpon the earth: and it was so.
| و خداگفت: «زمین نباتات برویاند، علفی که تخم بیاوردو درخت میوه‌ای که موافق جنس خود میوه آوردکه تخمش در آن باشد، بر روی زمین.» و چنین شد. | ۱۱ |
12 And the earth brought foorth the bud of the herbe, that seedeth seede according to his kind, also the tree that beareth fruit, which hath his seed in it selfe according to his kinde: and God saw that it was good.
| و زمین نباتات را رویانید، علفی که موافق جنس خود تخم آورد و درخت میوه داری که تخمش در آن، موافق جنس خود باشد. و خدادید که نیکوست. | ۱۲ |
13 So the euening and the morning were the third day.
| و شام بود و صبح بود، روزی سوم. | ۱۳ |
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heauen, to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signes, and for seasons, and for dayes and yeeres.
| و خدا گفت: «نیرها در فلک آسمان باشند تاروز را از شب جدا کنند و برای آیات و زمانها وروزها و سالها باشند. | ۱۴ |
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heauen to giue light vpon the earth: and it was so.
| و نیرها در فلک آسمان باشند تا بر زمین روشنایی دهند.» و چنین شد. | ۱۵ |
16 God then made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesse light to rule the night: he made also the starres.
| و خدا دو نیر بزرگ ساخت، نیر اعظم را برای سلطنت روز و نیر اصغر را برای سلطنت شب، وستارگان را. | ۱۶ |
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heauen, to shine vpon the earth,
| و خدا آنها را در فلک آسمان گذاشت تا بر زمین روشنایی دهند، | ۱۷ |
18 And to rule in the day, and in the night, and to separate the light from the darkenesse: and God saw that it was good.
| و تاسلطنت نمایند بر روز و بر شب، و روشنایی را ازتاریکی جدا کنند. و خدا دید که نیکوست. | ۱۸ |
19 So the euening and the morning were the fourth day.
| وشام بود و صبح بود، روزی چهارم. | ۱۹ |
20 Afterward God said, Let the waters bring foorth in abundance euery creeping thing that hath life: and let the foule flie vpon the earth in the open firmament of the heauen.
| و خدا گفت: «آبها به انبوه جانوران پر شودو پرندگان بالای زمین بر روی فلک آسمان پروازکنند.» | ۲۰ |
21 Then God created the great whales, and euery thing liuing and mouing, which the waters brought foorth in abundance according to their kinde, and euery fethered foule according to his kinde: and God sawe that it was good.
| پس خدا نهنگان بزرگ آفرید و همه جانداران خزنده را، که آبها از آنها موافق اجناس آنها پر شد، و همه پرندگان بالدار را به اجناس آنها. و خدا دید که نیکوست. | ۲۱ |
22 Then God blessed them, saying, Bring foorth fruite and multiplie, and fill the waters in the seas, and let the foule multiplie in the earth.
| و خدا آنها رابرکت داده، گفت: «بارور و کثیر شوید و آبهای دریا را پر سازید، و پرندگان در زمین کثیر بشوند.» | ۲۲ |
23 So the euening and the morning were the fifte day.
| و شام بود و صبح بود، روزی پنجم. | ۲۳ |
24 Moreouer God said, Let the earth bring foorth the liuing thing according to his kinde, cattel, and that which creepeth, and the beast of the earth, according to his kinde. and it was so.
| و خدا گفت: «زمین، جانوران را موافق اجناس آنها بیرون آورد، بهایم و حشرات وحیوانات زمین به اجناس آنها.» و چنین شد. | ۲۴ |
25 And God made the beast of the earth according to his kinde, and the cattell according to his kinde, and euery creeping thing of the earth according to his kind: and God saw that it was good.
| پس خدا حیوانات زمین را به اجناس آنهابساخت و بهایم را به اجناس آنها و همه حشرات زمین را به اجناس آنها. و خدا دید که نیکوست. | ۲۵ |
26 Furthermore God said, Let vs make man in our image according to our likenes, and let them rule ouer the fish of the sea, and ouer the foule of the heauen, and ouer the beastes, and ouer all the earth, and ouer euery thing that creepeth and moueth on the earth.
| و خدا گفت: «آدم را بصورت ما و موافق شبیه ما بسازیم تا بر ماهیان دریا و پرندگان آسمان وبهایم و بر تمامی زمین و همه حشراتی که بر زمین می‌خزند، حکومت نماید.» | ۲۶ |
27 Thus God created the man in his image: in the image of God created he him: he created them male and female.
| پس خدا آدم را بصورت خود آفرید. او رابصورت خدا آفرید. ایشان را نر و ماده آفرید. | ۲۷ |
28 And God blessed them, and God said to them, Bring forth fruite and multiplie, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule ouer the fish of the sea, and ouer the foule of the heauen, and ouer euery beast that moueth vpon the earth.
| و خدا ایشان را برکت داد و خدا بدیشان گفت: «بارور و کثیر شوید و زمین را پر سازید و در آن تسلط نمایید، و بر ماهیان دریا و پرندگان آسمان وهمه حیواناتی که بر زمین می‌خزند، حکومت کنید.» | ۲۸ |
29 And God said, Beholde, I haue giuen vnto you euery herbe bearing seede, which is vpon al the earth, and euery tree, wherein is the fruite of a tree bearing seede: that shall be to you for meate.
| و خدا گفت: «همانا همه علف های تخم داری که بر روی تمام زمین است و همه درختهایی که در آنها میوه درخت تخم دار است، به شما دادم تا برای شما خوراک باشد. | ۲۹ |
30 Likewise to euery beast of the earth, and to euery foule of the heauen, and to euery thing that moueth vpon the earth, which hath life in it selfe, euery greene herbe shall be for meate. and it was so.
| و به همه حیوانات زمین و به همه پرندگان آسمان وبه همه حشرات زمین که در آنها حیات‌است، هر علف سبز را برای خوراک دادم.» و چنین شد. | ۳۰ |
31 And God sawe all that he had made, and loe, it was very good. So the euening and the morning were the sixt day.
| و خدا هر‌چه ساخته بود، دید و همانابسیار نیکو بود. و شام بود و صبح بود، روزششم. | ۳۱ |
