Genesis 1
1 In the beginning God created the heauen and the earth.
Im Anfang schuf Gott den Himmel und die Erde.
2 And the earth was without forme and void, and darkenesse was vpon the deepe, and the Spirit of God mooued vpon the waters.
Es war aber die Erde wüste und leer und Finsternis lag auf dem Ozean und der Geist Gottes schwebte über dem Gewässer.
3 Then God said, Let there be light: And there was light.
Da sprach Gott: Es werde Licht! Und es ward Licht.
4 And God saw the light that it was good, and God separated the light from the darkenes.
Und Gott sah, daß das Licht gut war, und Gott trennte das Licht von der Finsternis.
5 And God called the Light, Day, and the darkenes, he called Night. So the euening and the morning were the first day.
Und Gott nannte das Licht Tag, die Finsternis aber nannte er Nacht. Und es wurde Abend und wurde Morgen, der erste Tag.
6 Againe God said, Let there be a firmament in the mids of the waters: and let it separate the waters from the waters.
Da sprach Gott: Es werde ein Veste inmitten der Gewässer und bilde eine Scheidewand zwischen den verschiedenen Gewässern. Und es geschah so.
7 Then God made the firmament, and separated the waters, which were vnder the firmament, from the waters which were aboue the firmament: and it was so.
Da machte Gott die Veste als eine Scheidewand zwischen den Gewässern unterhalb der Veste und den Gewässern oberhalb der Veste.
8 And God called the firmament Heauen. So the Euening and the morning were the second day.
Und Gott nannte die Veste Himmel. Und es wurde Abend und wurde Morgen, der zweite Tag.
9 God said againe, Let the waters vnder the heauen be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appeare. and it was so.
Da sprach Gott: Es sammle sich das Wasser unterhalb des Himmels an einen Ort, so daß das Trockene sichtbar wird. Und es geschah so.
10 And God called the dry land, Earth, and he called the gathering together of the waters, Seas: and God saw that it was good.
Und Gott nannte das Trockene Erde, die Ansammlung der Gewässer aber nannte er Meer. Und Gott sah, daß es gut war.
11 Then God said, Let the earth bud forth the bud of the herbe, that seedeth seed, the fruitfull tree, which beareth fruite according to his kinde, which hath his seede in it selfe vpon the earth: and it was so.
Da sprach Gott: Die Erde lasse junges Grün sprossen, samentragende Pflanzen und Fruchtbäume, welche je nach ihrer Art Früchte auf Erden erzeugen, in denen sich Same zu ihnen befindet. Und es geschah so.
12 And the earth brought foorth the bud of the herbe, that seedeth seede according to his kind, also the tree that beareth fruit, which hath his seed in it selfe according to his kinde: and God saw that it was good.
Da ließ die Erde junges Grün aufgehen, samentragende Pflanzen je nach ihrer Art und Bäume, welche Früchte trugen, in denen sich Same zu ihnen befand, je nach ihrer Art. Und Gott sah, daß es gut war.
13 So the euening and the morning were the third day.
Und es wurde Abend und wurde Morgen, der dritte Tag.
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heauen, to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signes, and for seasons, and for dayes and yeeres.
Da sprach Gott: Es sollen Leuchten entstehen an der Veste des Himmels, um den Tag und die Nacht von einander zu trennen, und sie sollen dienen zu Merkzeichen und zur Bestimmung von Zeiträumen und Tagen und Jahren.
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heauen to giue light vpon the earth: and it was so.
Und sie sollen dienen als Leuchten an der Veste des Himmels, um die Erde zu beleuchten. Und es geschah so.
16 God then made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesse light to rule the night: he made also the starres.
Da machte Gott die beiden großen Leuchten: die große Leuchte, damit sie bei Tage die Herrschaft führe, und die kleine Leuchte, damit sie bei Nacht die Herrschaft führe, dazu die Sterne.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heauen, to shine vpon the earth,
Und Gott setzte sie an die Veste des Himmels, damit sie die Erde beleuchteten
18 And to rule in the day, and in the night, and to separate the light from the darkenesse: and God saw that it was good.
und über den Tag und über die Nacht herrschten und das Licht und die Finsternis von einander trennten. Und Gott sah, daß es gut war.
19 So the euening and the morning were the fourth day.
Und es wurde Abend und wurde Morgen, der vierte Tag.
20 Afterward God said, Let the waters bring foorth in abundance euery creeping thing that hath life: and let the foule flie vpon the earth in the open firmament of the heauen.
Da sprach Gott: Es wimmle das Wasser von Gewimmel lebendiger Wesen, und Vögel sollen über der Erde hinfliegen an der Veste des Himmels.
21 Then God created the great whales, and euery thing liuing and mouing, which the waters brought foorth in abundance according to their kinde, and euery fethered foule according to his kinde: and God sawe that it was good.
Da schuf Gott die großen Seetiere und alle die lebenden Wesen, die sich herumtummeln, von denen das Wasser wimmelt, je nach ihrer Art, dazu alle geflügelten Tiere je nach ihrer Art. Und Gott sah, daß es gut war.
22 Then God blessed them, saying, Bring foorth fruite and multiplie, and fill the waters in the seas, and let the foule multiplie in the earth.
Da segnete sie Gott und sprach: Seid fruchtbar und mehrt euch und bevölkert das Wasser im Meer, und auch die Vögel sollen sich mehren auf Erden.
23 So the euening and the morning were the fifte day.
Und es wurde Abend und wurde Morgen, der fünfte Tag.
24 Moreouer God said, Let the earth bring foorth the liuing thing according to his kinde, cattel, and that which creepeth, and the beast of the earth, according to his kinde. and it was so.
Da sprach Gott: Die Erde bringe hervor lebendige Wesen je nach ihrer Art, Vieh und kriechende Tiere und wilde Tiere je nach ihrer Art. Und es geschah so.
25 And God made the beast of the earth according to his kinde, and the cattell according to his kinde, and euery creeping thing of the earth according to his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Da machte Gott die wilden Tiere je nach ihrer Art und das Vieh nach seiner Art und alle Tiere, die auf dem Boden kriechen, je nach ihrer Art. Und Gott sah, daß es gut war.
26 Furthermore God said, Let vs make man in our image according to our likenes, and let them rule ouer the fish of the sea, and ouer the foule of the heauen, and ouer the beastes, and ouer all the earth, and ouer euery thing that creepeth and moueth on the earth.
Da sprach Gott: Laßt uns Menschen machen nach unserem Bilde, uns ähnlich, und sie sollen herrschen über die Fische im Meer und über die Vögel am Himmel und über das Vieh und über alle wilden Tiere und über alles Gewürm, das auf der Erde umherkriecht.
27 Thus God created the man in his image: in the image of God created he him: he created them male and female.
Und Gott schuf den Menschen nach seinem Bilde - nach dem Bilde Gottes schuf er ihn; als Mann und Weib schuf er sie.
28 And God blessed them, and God said to them, Bring forth fruite and multiplie, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule ouer the fish of the sea, and ouer the foule of the heauen, and ouer euery beast that moueth vpon the earth.
Da segnete sie Gott, und Gott sprach zu ihnen: Seid fruchtbar und mehrt euch und bevölkert die Erde und macht sie euch unterthan und herrscht über die Fische im Meer und die Vögel am Himmel und über alles Getier, das sich auf Erden tummelt!
29 And God said, Beholde, I haue giuen vnto you euery herbe bearing seede, which is vpon al the earth, and euery tree, wherein is the fruite of a tree bearing seede: that shall be to you for meate.
Und Gott sprach: Hiermit weise ich euch alle samentragenden Pflanzen an, die allenthalben auf Erden wachsen, dazu alle Bäume mit samenhaltigen Früchten - das sei eure Nahrung!
30 Likewise to euery beast of the earth, and to euery foule of the heauen, and to euery thing that moueth vpon the earth, which hath life in it selfe, euery greene herbe shall be for meate. and it was so.
Dagegen allen Tieren auf der Erde und allen Vögeln am Himmel und allem, was auf Erden kriecht, was da beseelt ist, bestimme ich alles Gras und Kraut zur Nahrung. Und es geschah so.
31 And God sawe all that he had made, and loe, it was very good. So the euening and the morning were the sixt day.
Und Gott sah, daß alles, was er gemacht, sehr gut sei. Und es wurde Abend und wurde Morgen, der sechste Tag.
