< Genesis 9 >
1 And God blessed Noah and his sonnes, and said to them, Bring foorth fruite, and multiplie, and replenish the earth.
Afei, Onyankopɔn hyiraa Noa ne ne mmabarima no ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Monwo, na monyɛ bebree nhyɛ asase so ma.
2 Also the feare of you, and the dread of you shalbe vpon euery beast of the earth, and vpon euery foule of the heauen, vpon all that moueth on the earth, and vpon all the fishes of the sea: into your hand are they deliuered.
Mo ho hu ne mo ho suro bɛtɔ mmoa a wɔwɔ asase so nyinaa ne wim nnomaa nyinaa ne abɔde a wɔwɔ asase so ne nsu mu mpataa nyinaa so. Wɔn nyinaa hyɛ mo nsa.
3 Euery thing that moueth and liueth, shall be meate for you: as the greene herbe, haue I giuen you all things.
Biribiara a nkwa wɔ mu, na ɛkeka ne ho no bɛyɛ mo aduan. Sɛnea mede nhabammono hyɛɛ mo nsa no, afei de, mede biribiara ma mo.
4 But flesh with the life thereof, I meane, with the blood thereof, shall ye not eate.
“Nanso ɛnsɛ sɛ mowe aboa a wontwaa ne mene mmaa ne mogya no ngui no nam.
5 For surely I will require your blood, wherein your liues are: at the hand of euery beast will I require it: and at the hand of man, euen at the hand of a mans brother will I require the life of man.
Na wo nkwa de, nea ɛbɛyɛ biara, mebisa ho akontaabu. Onipa a okum ne yɔnko nipa no, mebisa no ho asɛm. Mpo, aboa biara a obekum onipa no, mewɔ saa aboa no nso asɛmmisa. Mebisa onipa kra ho asɛm.
6 Who so sheadeth mans blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God hath he made man.
“Obiara a ohwie onipa mogya gu no, onipa so na wɔnam behwie ɔno nso mogya agu, efisɛ Onyankopɔn no ara sɛso na ɔbɔɔ onipa.
7 But bring ye forth fruite and multiplie: grow plentifully in the earth, and increase therein.
Mo de, monwo, na monyɛ bebree. Mo ase mfɛe wɔ asase so, na monnɔɔso.”
8 God spake also to Noah and to his sonnes with him, saying,
Afei, Onyankopɔn ka kyerɛɛ Noa ne ne mmabarima a wɔka ne ho no se,
9 Behold, I, euen I establish my couenant with you, and with your seede after you,
“Nnɛ, me ne mo ne mo asefo a wɔbɛwo wɔn no
10 And with euery liuing creature that is with you, with the foule, with the cattell, and with euery beast of the earth with you, from all that goe out of the Arke, vnto euery beast of the earth.
ne abɔde biara a nkwa wɔ mu a na wɔwɔ mo nkyɛn wɔ Adaka no mu yɛ apam: nnomaa, nyɛmmoa ne wuram mmoa a wɔne mo fi Adaka no mu bae no nyinaa, ne abɔde biara a nkwa wɔ mu a wɔwɔ asase so.
11 And my couenant will I establish with you, that from henceforth all flesh shall not be rooted out by ye waters of the flood, neither shall there be a flood to destroy the earth any more.
Me ne mo yɛ mʼapam sɛ: Meremfa nsuyiri nsɛe abɔde biara a nkwa wɔ mu a ɛwɔ asase so. Saa ara nso na meremfa nsuyiri nsɛe asase bio da.”
12 Then God saide, This is the token of the couenant which I make betweene me and you, and betweene euery liuing thing, that is with you vnto perpetuall generations.
Na Onyankopɔn kae se, “Eyi ne apam a me, Onyankopɔn, ne mo ne abɔde a nkwa wɔ mu biara a wɔka mo ho no ne nkyirimma nyinaa reyɛ no ho nsɛnkyerɛnne.
13 I haue set my bowe in the cloude, and it shalbe for a signe of the couenant betweene me and the earth.
Mato me nyankontɔn wɔ omununkum mu. Ɛno na ɛbɛyɛ apam a ɛbɛda me ne asase ntam.
14 And when I shall couer the earth with a cloud, and the bowe shall be seene in the cloude,
Bere biara a mede omununkum bɛba asase ani, na sɛ nyankontɔn pue wɔ omununkum no mu a,
15 Then will I remember my couenant, which is betweene me and you, and betweene euery liuing thing in all flesh, and there shalbe no more waters of a flood to destroy all flesh.
mɛkae mʼapam a ɛda me ne mo ne abɔde a nkwa wɔ mu ahorow no nyinaa ntam. Nsuyiri a ɛbɛsɛe abɔde a nkwa wɔ mu no nyinaa remma da biara da bio.
16 Therefore the bowe shalbe in the cloude, that I may see it, and remember the euerlasting couenant betweene God, and euery liuing thing in all flesh that is vpon the earth.
Bere biara a nyankontɔn bɛto wɔ omununkum mu no, mehu na makae apam a ɛwɔ hɔ daa a ɛda me, Onyankopɔn, ne abɔde a nkwa wɔ mu ahorow nyinaa a wɔwɔ asase yi so no ntam no.”
17 God said yet to Noah, This is the signe of the couenant, which I haue established betweene me and all flesh that is vpon the earth.
Enti Onyankopɔn ka kyerɛɛ Noa se, “Eyi ne apam a me ne abɔde biara a nkwa wɔ mu a wɔwɔ asase yi so ayɛ no ho nsɛnkyerɛnne.”
18 Nowe the sonnes of Noah going foorth of the Arke, were Shem and Ham and Iapheth. And Ham is the father of Canaan.
Eyinom ne Noa mmabarima a wofi Adaka no mu bae: Sem, Ham ne Yafet. Ham na ɔwoo Kanaan.
19 These are the three sonnes of Noah, and of them was the whole earth ouerspred.
Eyinom ne Noa mmabarima. Wɔn mu na nnipa a wɔahwete wɔ asase so nyinaa fi bae.
20 Noah also began to be an husband man and planted a vineyard.
Noa yɛ okuafo a odii kan. Ɔyɛɛ bobeturo.
21 And he drunke of ye wine and was drunken, and was vncouered in the middes of his tent.
Da bi, ɔnom bobesa no bi bow ma ɔdaa ne ntamadan mu adagyaw.
22 And when Ham the father of Canaan sawe the nakednesse of his father, he tolde his two brethren without.
Ham a ɔwoo Kanaan no kɔtoo nʼagya Noa sɛ ɔda adagyaw. Ofii hɔ no, ɔkɔbɔɔ ne nuabarimanom baanu no amanneɛ.
23 Then tooke Shem and Iapheth a garment, and put it vpon both their shoulders, and went backwarde, and couered the nakednesse of their father with their faces backwarde: so they sawe not their fathers nakednesse.
Enti Sem ne Yafet faa atade de guu wɔn mmati so, kɔɔ nkyirinkyiri de kɔkataa wɔn agya adagyaw so. Na wɔn ani nkyerɛ wɔn agya nti, wɔanhu nʼadagyaw mu.
24 Then Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his yonger sonne had done vnto him,
Bere a Noa ani so tetew no, na ohuu sɛnea ne kaakyiri no ayɛ no,
25 And said, Cursed be Canaan: a seruant of seruants shall he be vnto his brethren.
ɔkae se, “Nnome nka Ham asefo a wɔyɛ Kanaanfo. Wɔbɛyɛ wɔn nuanom mu nkoa mu nkoa.”
26 He said moreouer, blessed be the Lord God of Shem, and let Canaan be his seruant.
Noa kaa bio se, “Me nhyira a efi Awurade, me Nyankopɔn, nkyɛn no nka Sem! Kanaan nyɛ Sem akoa.
27 God perswade Iapheth, that he may dwell in the tentes of Shem, and let Canaan be his seruant.
Onyankopɔn ntrɛw Yafet ase ne nʼasase mu. Yafet ntena Sem ntamadan mu, na Kanaan nyɛ nʼakoa.”
28 And Noah liued after the flood three hundreth and fiftie yeeres.
Nsuyiri no akyi no, Noa tenaa ase mfe ahaasa ne aduonum.
29 So all the dayes of Noah were nine hundreth and fiftie yeeres: and he died.
Noa dii mfe ahankron ne aduonum, ansa na ɔrewu.
