Genesis 9
1 And God blessed Noah and his sonnes, and said to them, Bring foorth fruite, and multiplie, and replenish the earth.
Azután megáldá Isten Noét és az ő fiait, és azt mondá nékik: Szaporodjatok és sokasodjatok, és töltsétek be a földet.
2 Also the feare of you, and the dread of you shalbe vpon euery beast of the earth, and vpon euery foule of the heauen, vpon all that moueth on the earth, and vpon all the fishes of the sea: into your hand are they deliuered.
És féljen és rettegjen tőletek a földnek minden állatja az égnek minden madara: minden a mi nyüzsög a földön, és a tengernek minden hala kezetekbe adatott;
3 Euery thing that moueth and liueth, shall be meate for you: as the greene herbe, haue I giuen you all things.
Minden mozgó állat, a mely él legyen nektek eledelűl; a mint a zöld fűvet, nektek adtam mindazokat.
4 But flesh with the life thereof, I meane, with the blood thereof, shall ye not eate.
Csak a húst az őt elevenítő vérrel meg ne egyétek.
5 For surely I will require your blood, wherein your liues are: at the hand of euery beast will I require it: and at the hand of man, euen at the hand of a mans brother will I require the life of man.
De a ti véreteket, a melyben van a ti éltetek, számon kérem; számon kérem minden állattól, azonképen az embertől, kinek-kinek atyjafiától számon kérem az ember életét.
6 Who so sheadeth mans blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God hath he made man.
A ki ember-vért ont, annak vére ember által ontassék ki; mert Isten a maga képére teremté az embert.
7 But bring ye forth fruite and multiplie: grow plentifully in the earth, and increase therein.
Ti pedig szaporodjatok és sokasodjatok, nyüzsögjetek a földön és sokasodjatok azon.
8 God spake also to Noah and to his sonnes with him, saying,
És szóla az Isten Noénak és vele az ő fiainak, mondván:
9 Behold, I, euen I establish my couenant with you, and with your seede after you,
Én pedig ímé szövetséget szerzek ti veletek és a ti magvatokkal ti utánnatok.
10 And with euery liuing creature that is with you, with the foule, with the cattell, and with euery beast of the earth with you, from all that goe out of the Arke, vnto euery beast of the earth.
És minden élő állattal, mely veletek van: madárral, barommal, minden mezei vaddal, mely veletek van; mindattól kezdve a mi a bárkából kijött, a földnek minden vadjáig.
11 And my couenant will I establish with you, that from henceforth all flesh shall not be rooted out by ye waters of the flood, neither shall there be a flood to destroy the earth any more.
Szövetséget kötök ti veletek, hogy soha ezután el nem vész özönvíz miatt minden test; és soha sem lesz többé özönvíz a földnek elvesztésére.
12 Then God saide, This is the token of the couenant which I make betweene me and you, and betweene euery liuing thing, that is with you vnto perpetuall generations.
És monda az Isten: Ez a jele a szövetségnek, melyet én örök időkre szerzek közöttem és ti köztetek, és minden élő állat között, mely ti veletek van:
13 I haue set my bowe in the cloude, and it shalbe for a signe of the couenant betweene me and the earth.
Az én ívemet helyeztetem a felhőkbe, s ez lesz jele a szövetségnek közöttem és a föld között.
14 And when I shall couer the earth with a cloud, and the bowe shall be seene in the cloude,
És lészen, hogy mikor felhővel borítom be a földet, meglátszik az ív a felhőben.
15 Then will I remember my couenant, which is betweene me and you, and betweene euery liuing thing in all flesh, and there shalbe no more waters of a flood to destroy all flesh.
És megemlékezem az én szövetségemről, mely van én közöttem és ti közöttetek, és minden testből való élő állat között; és nem lesz többé a víz özönné minden testnek elvesztésére.
16 Therefore the bowe shalbe in the cloude, that I may see it, and remember the euerlasting couenant betweene God, and euery liuing thing in all flesh that is vpon the earth.
Azért legyen tehát az ív a felhőben, hogy lássam azt és megemlékezzem az örökkévaló szövetségről Isten között és minden testből való élő állat között, mely a földön van.
17 God said yet to Noah, This is the signe of the couenant, which I haue established betweene me and all flesh that is vpon the earth.
És monda Isten Noénak: Ez ama szövetségnek jele, melyet szerzettem én közöttem és minden test között, mely a földön van.
18 Nowe the sonnes of Noah going foorth of the Arke, were Shem and Ham and Iapheth. And Ham is the father of Canaan.
Valának pedig Noé fiai, kik a bárkából kijöttek vala: Sém és Khám és Jáfet. Khám pedig Kanaánnak atyja.
19 These are the three sonnes of Noah, and of them was the whole earth ouerspred.
Ezek hárman a Noé fiai s ezektől népesedék meg az egész föld.
20 Noah also began to be an husband man and planted a vineyard.
Noé pedig földmívelő kezde lenni, és szőlőt ültete.
21 And he drunke of ye wine and was drunken, and was vncouered in the middes of his tent.
És ivék a borból, s megrészegedék, és meztelenen vala sátra közepén.
22 And when Ham the father of Canaan sawe the nakednesse of his father, he tolde his two brethren without.
Khám pedig, Kanaánnak atyja, meglátá az ő atyjának mezítelenségét, és hírűl adá künnlevő két testvérének.
23 Then tooke Shem and Iapheth a garment, and put it vpon both their shoulders, and went backwarde, and couered the nakednesse of their father with their faces backwarde: so they sawe not their fathers nakednesse.
Akkor Sém és Jáfet ruhát ragadván, azt mindketten vállokra veték, és háttal menve takarák be atyjok mezítelenségét; s arczczal hátra meg sem láták atyjok mezítelenségét.
24 Then Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his yonger sonne had done vnto him,
Hogy felserkene Noé mámorából, és megtudá a mit vele az ő kisebbik fia cselekedett vala:
25 And said, Cursed be Canaan: a seruant of seruants shall he be vnto his brethren.
Monda: Átkozott Kanaán! Szolgák szolgája legyen atyjafiai közt.
26 He said moreouer, blessed be the Lord God of Shem, and let Canaan be his seruant.
Azután monda: Áldott az Úr, Sémnek Istene, néki légyen szolgája Kanaán!
27 God perswade Iapheth, that he may dwell in the tentes of Shem, and let Canaan be his seruant.
Terjeszsze ki Isten Jáfetet, lakozzék Sémnek sátraiban; légyen néki szolgája a Kanaán!
28 And Noah liued after the flood three hundreth and fiftie yeeres.
Éle pedig Noé az özönvíz után háromszáz ötven esztendeig.
29 So all the dayes of Noah were nine hundreth and fiftie yeeres: and he died.
És vala Noé egész életének ideje kilenczszáz ötven esztendő; és meghala.
