Genesis 7
1 And the Lord said vnto Noah, Enter thou and all thine house into the Arke: for thee haue I seene righteous before me in this age.
Đức Giê-hô-va phán cùng Nô-ê rằng: Ngươi và cả nhà ngươi hãy vào tàu, vì về đời nầy ta thấy ngươi là công bình ở trước mặt ta.
2 Of euery cleane beast thou shalt take to thee by seuens, the male and his female: but of vncleane beastes by couples, the male and his female.
Trong các loài vật thanh sạch, hãy đem theo mỗi loài bảy cặp, đực và cái; còn loài vật không thanh sạch mỗi loài một cặp, đực và cái.
3 Of the foules also of the heauen by seuens, male and female, to keepe seede aliue vpon the whole earth.
Cũng hãy đem theo những chim trời, mỗi thứ bảy cặp, trống và mái, để giữ giống ở trên khắp mặt đất.
4 For seuen dayes hence I will cause it raine vpon the earth fourtie dayes and fourtie nightes, and all the substance that I haue made, will I destroy from off the earth.
Vì còn bảy ngày nữa, ta sẽ làm mưa xuống mặt đất, trong bốn mươi ngày và bốn mươi đêm; ta sẽ tuyệt diệt khỏi đất hết các loài của ta đã dựng nên.
5 Noah therefore did according vnto all that the Lord commanded him.
Đoạn, Nô-ê làm theo mọi điều Đức Giê-hô-va đã phán dặn mình.
6 And Noah was sixe hundreth yeeres olde, when the flood of waters was vpon the earth.
Vả, khi lụt xảy ra, và nước tràn trên mặt đất, thì Nô-ê đã được sáu trăm tuổi.
7 So Noah entred and his sonnes, and his wife, and his sonnes wiues with him into the Arke, because of the waters of the flood.
Vì cớ nước lụt, nên Nô-ê vào tàu cùng vợ, các con trai và các dâu mình;
8 Of the cleane beastes, and of the vncleane beastes, and of the foules, and of all that creepeth vpon the earth,
loài vật thanh sạch và loài vật không thanh sạch, loài chim, loài côn trùng trên mặt đất,
9 There came two and two vnto Noah into the Arke, male and female, as God had commanded Noah.
từng cặp, đực và cái, trống và mái, đều đến cùng Nô-ê mà vào tàu, y như lời Đức Chúa Trời đã phán dặn người.
10 And so after seuen dayes the waters of the flood were vpon the earth.
Sau bảy ngày, nước lụt xảy có trên mặt đất.
11 In the sixe hundreth yeere of Noahs life in the second moneth, the seuetenth day of the moneth, in the same day were all the fountaines of the great deepe broken vp, and the windowes of heauen were opened,
Nhằm năm sáu trăm của đời Nô-ê, tháng hai, ngày mười bảy, chính ngày đó, các nguồn của vực lớn nổ ra, và các đập trên trời mở xuống;
12 And the raine was vpon the earth fourtie dayes and fourtie nightes.
mưa sa trên mặt đất trọn bốn mươi ngày và bốn mươi đêm.
13 In the selfe same day entred Noah with Shem, and Ham and Iapheth, the sonnes of Noah, and Noahs wife, and the three wiues of his sonnes with them into the Arke.
Lại cũng trong một ngày đó, Nô-ê với vợ, ba con trai: Sem, Cham và Gia-phết, cùng ba dâu mình đồng vào tàu.
14 They and euery beast after his kinde, and all cattell after their kinde, and euery thing that creepeth and moueth vpon the earth after his kinde, and euery foule after his kinde, euen euery bird of euery fether.
Họ và các loài, thú rừng tùy theo loại, súc vật tùy theo loại, côn trùng trên mặt đất tùy theo loài, chim tùy theo loại, và hết thảy vật nào có cánh,
15 For they came to Noah into ye Arke, two and two, of all flesh wherein is ye breath of life.
đều từng cặp theo Nô-ê vào tàu; nghĩa là mọi xác thịt nào có sanh khí,
16 And they entring in, came male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in.
một đực một cái, một trống một mái, đều đến vào tàu, y như lời Đức Chúa Trời đã phán dặn; đoạn, Đức Giê-hô-va đóng cửa tàu lại.
17 Then ye flood was fourtie dayes vpon the earth, and the waters were increased, and bare vp the Arke, which was lift vp aboue the earth.
Nước lụt phủ mặt đất bốn mươi ngày; nước dưng thêm nâng hỏng tàu lên khỏi mặt đất.
18 The waters also waxed strong, and were increased exceedingly vpon the earth, and the Arke went vpon the waters.
Trên mặt đất nước lớn và dưng thêm nhiều lắm; chiếc tàu nổi trên mặt nước.
19 The waters preuailed so exceedingly vpon the earth, that all the high mountaines, that are vnder the whole heauen, were couered.
Nước càng dưng lên bội phần trên mặt đất, hết thảy những ngọn núi cao ở dưới trời đều bị ngập.
20 Fifteene cubites vpwarde did the waters preuaile, when the mountaines were couered.
Nước dưng lên mười lăm thước cao hơn, mấy ngọn núi đều ngập.
21 Then all flesh perished that moued vpon the earth, both foule and cattell and beast, and euery thing that creepeth and moueth vpon the earth, and euery man.
Các xác thịt hành động trên mặt đất đều chết ngột, nào chim, nào súc vật, nào thú rừng, nào côn trùng, và mọi người.
22 Euery thing in whose nostrels the spirit of life did breathe, whatsoeuer they were in the drie land, they died.
Các vật có sanh khí trong lỗ mũi, các vật ở trên đất liền đều chết hết.
23 So he destroyed euery thing that was vpon the earth, from man to beast, to ye creeping thing, and to the foule of the heauen: they were euen destroyed from the earth. And Noah onely remained; and they that were with him in ye Arke.
Mọi loài ở trên mặt đất đều bị hủy diệt, từ loài người cho đến loài thú, loài côn trùng, cùng loài chim trời, chỉ còn Nô-ê và các loài ở với người trong tàu mà thôi.
24 And the waters preuailed vpon the earth an hundreth and fiftie dayes.
Nước dưng lên trên mặt đất trọn một trăm năm mươi ngày.
