Genesis 5
1 This is the booke of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created Adam, in the likenes of God made he him,
੧ਇਹ ਆਦਮ ਦੀ ਵੰਸ਼ਾਵਲੀ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਦਮ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਰਗਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਇਆ।
2 Male and female created he them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam in the day that they were created.
੨ਨਰ ਨਾਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਆਦਮ ਰੱਖਿਆ।
3 Nowe Adam liued an hundred and thirtie yeeres, and begate a childe in his owne likenes after his image, and called his name Sheth.
੩ਆਦਮ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਤੀਹ ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਉਸ ਵਰਗਾ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸੇਥ ਰੱਖਿਆ।
4 And the dayes of Adam, after he had begotten Sheth, were eight hundreth yeeres, and he begate sonnes and daughters.
੪ਸੇਥ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਦਮ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਸਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਧੀਆਂ ਜੰਮੇ।
5 So all the dayes that Adam liued, were nine hundreth and thirtie yeeres: and he died.
੫ਆਦਮ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਨੌ ਸੌ ਤੀਹ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।
6 And Sheth liued an hundreth and fiue yeeres, and begate Enosh.
੬ਸੇਥ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਅਨੋਸ਼ ਜੰਮਿਆ।
7 And Sheth liued, after he begate Enosh, eight hundreth and seuen yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
੭ਅਤੇ ਅਨੋਸ਼ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਸੇਥ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਸੱਤ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਧੀਆਂ ਜੰਮੇ।
8 So all the dayes of Sheth were nine hundreth and twelue yeeres: and he died.
੮ਸੇਥ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਨੌ ਸੌ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।
9 Also Enosh liued ninetie yeeres, and begate Kenan.
੯ਅਨੋਸ਼ ਨੱਬੇ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਕੇਨਾਨ ਜੰਮਿਆ।
10 And Enosh liued, after he begate Kenan, eight hundreth and fifteene yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
੧੦ਅਤੇ ਕੇਨਾਨ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਅਨੋਸ਼ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਪੰਦਰਾਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਧੀਆਂ ਜੰਮੇ।
11 So all the dayes of Enosh were nine hundreth and fiue yeeres: and he died
੧੧ਅਨੋਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਨੌ ਸੌ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।
12 Likewise Kenan liued seuentie yeeres, and begate Mahalaleel.
੧੨ਕੇਨਾਨ ਸੱਤਰ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਮਹਲਲੇਲ ਜੰਮਿਆ
13 And Kenan liued, after he begate Mahalaleel, eight hundreth and fourtie yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
੧੩ਅਤੇ ਮਹਲਲੇਲ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਕੇਨਾਨ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਚਾਲ੍ਹੀ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਧੀਆਂ ਜੰਮੇ।
14 So all the dayes of Kenan were nine hundreth and tenne yeeres: and he died.
੧੪ਕੇਨਾਨ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਨੌ ਸੌ ਦਸਾਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।
15 Mahalaleel also liued sixtie and fiue yeres, and begate Iered.
੧੫ਮਹਲਲੇਲ ਪੈਂਹਠ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਯਰਦ ਜੰਮਿਆ
16 Also Mahalaleel liued, after he begate Iered, eight hundreth and thirtie yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
੧੬ਅਤੇ ਯਰਦ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਮਹਲਲੇਲ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਤੀਹ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਧੀਆਂ ਜੰਮੇ।
17 So all the dayes of Mahalaleel were eight hundreth ninetie and fiue yeeres: and he died.
੧੭ਮਹਲਲੇਲ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਪਚਾਨਵੇਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ, ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।
18 And Iered liued an hundreth sixtie and two yeeres, and begate Henoch.
੧੮ਯਰਦ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਬਾਹਠ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹਨੋਕ ਜੰਮਿਆ
19 Then Iered liued, after he begate Henoch, eight hundreth yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
੧੯ਅਤੇ ਹਨੋਕ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਯਰਦ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਧੀਆਂ ਜੰਮੇ।
20 So all the dayes of Iered were nine hundreth sixtie and two yeeres: and he died.
੨੦ਯਰਦ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਨੌ ਸੌ ਬਾਹਠ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ, ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।
21 Also Henoch liued sixtie and fiue yeeres, and begate Methushelah.
੨੧ਹਨੋਕ ਪੈਂਹਠ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਮਥੂਸਲਹ ਜੰਮਿਆ,
22 And Henoch walked with God, after he begate Methushelah, three hundreth yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
੨੨ਅਤੇ ਮਥੂਸਲਹ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਹਨੋਕ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਚਲਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਧੀਆਂ ਜੰਮੇ।
23 So all the dayes of Henoch were three hundreth sixtie and fiue yeeres.
੨੩ਹਨੋਕ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਪੈਂਹਠ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੀ।
24 And Henoch walked with God, and he was no more seene: for God tooke him away.
੨੪ਹਨੋਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਚਲਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਲੋਪ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਠਾ ਲਿਆ।
25 Methushelah also liued an hundreth eightie and seuen yeeres, and begate Lamech.
੨੫ਮਥੂਸਲਹ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਸਤਾਸੀ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਮਕ ਜੰਮਿਆ,
26 And Methushelah liued, after he begate Lamech, seuen hundreth eightie and two yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
੨੬ਅਤੇ ਲਾਮਕ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਮਥੂਸਲਹ ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਬਿਆਸੀ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਧੀਆਂ ਜੰਮੇ।
27 So al the dayes of Methushelah were nine hundreth sixtie and nine yeeres: and he died.
੨੭ਮਥੂਸਲਹ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਨੌ ਸੌ ਉਨਹੱਤਰ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ, ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।
28 Then Lamech liued an hundreth eightie and two yeeres, and begate a sonne,
੨੮ਲਾਮਕ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਬਿਆਸੀ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜੰਮਿਆ
29 And called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort vs concerning our worke and sorowe of our hands, as touching the earth, which the Lord hath cursed.
੨੯ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਨੂਹ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਮਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਸਰਾਪ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
30 And Lamech liued, after he begate Noah, fiue hundreth ninetie and fiue yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
੩੦ਨੂਹ ਦੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਲਾਮਕ ਪੰਜ ਸੌ ਪਚਾਨਵੇਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਧੀਆਂ ਜੰਮੇ।
31 So all the dayes of Lamech were seuen hundreth seuentie and seuen yeeres: and he died.
੩੧ਲਾਮਕ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਸਤੱਤਰ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ, ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।
32 And Noah was fiue hundreth yeere olde. And Noah begate Shem, Ham and Iapheth.
੩੨ਨੂਹ ਪੰਜ ਸੌ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ, ਤਦ ਨੂਹ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੇਮ, ਹਾਮ ਤੇ ਯਾਫ਼ਥ ਜੰਮੇ।
