Genesis 5
1 This is the booke of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created Adam, in the likenes of God made he him,
hic est liber generationis Adam in die qua creavit Deus hominem ad similitudinem Dei fecit illum
2 Male and female created he them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam in the day that they were created.
masculum et feminam creavit eos et benedixit illis et vocavit nomen eorum Adam in die qua creati sunt
3 Nowe Adam liued an hundred and thirtie yeeres, and begate a childe in his owne likenes after his image, and called his name Sheth.
vixit autem Adam centum triginta annis et genuit ad similitudinem et imaginem suam vocavitque nomen eius Seth
4 And the dayes of Adam, after he had begotten Sheth, were eight hundreth yeeres, and he begate sonnes and daughters.
et facti sunt dies Adam postquam genuit Seth octingenti anni genuitque filios et filias
5 So all the dayes that Adam liued, were nine hundreth and thirtie yeeres: and he died.
et factum est omne tempus quod vixit Adam anni nongenti triginta et mortuus est
6 And Sheth liued an hundreth and fiue yeeres, and begate Enosh.
vixit quoque Seth centum quinque annos et genuit Enos
7 And Sheth liued, after he begate Enosh, eight hundreth and seuen yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
vixitque Seth postquam genuit Enos octingentis septem annis genuitque filios et filias
8 So all the dayes of Sheth were nine hundreth and twelue yeeres: and he died.
et facti sunt omnes dies Seth nongentorum duodecim annorum et mortuus est
9 Also Enosh liued ninetie yeeres, and begate Kenan.
vixit vero Enos nonaginta annis et genuit Cainan
10 And Enosh liued, after he begate Kenan, eight hundreth and fifteene yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
post cuius ortum vixit octingentis quindecim annis et genuit filios et filias
11 So all the dayes of Enosh were nine hundreth and fiue yeeres: and he died
factique sunt omnes dies Enos nongentorum quinque annorum et mortuus est
12 Likewise Kenan liued seuentie yeeres, and begate Mahalaleel.
vixit quoque Cainan septuaginta annis et genuit Malalehel
13 And Kenan liued, after he begate Mahalaleel, eight hundreth and fourtie yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
et vixit Cainan postquam genuit Malalehel octingentos quadraginta annos genuitque filios et filias
14 So all the dayes of Kenan were nine hundreth and tenne yeeres: and he died.
et facti sunt omnes dies Cainan nongenti decem anni et mortuus est
15 Mahalaleel also liued sixtie and fiue yeres, and begate Iered.
vixit autem Malalehel sexaginta quinque annos et genuit Iared
16 Also Mahalaleel liued, after he begate Iered, eight hundreth and thirtie yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
et vixit Malalehel postquam genuit Iared octingentis triginta annis et genuit filios et filias
17 So all the dayes of Mahalaleel were eight hundreth ninetie and fiue yeeres: and he died.
et facti sunt omnes dies Malalehel octingenti nonaginta quinque anni et mortuus est
18 And Iered liued an hundreth sixtie and two yeeres, and begate Henoch.
vixitque Iared centum sexaginta duobus annis et genuit Enoch
19 Then Iered liued, after he begate Henoch, eight hundreth yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
et vixit Iared postquam genuit Enoch octingentos annos et genuit filios et filias
20 So all the dayes of Iered were nine hundreth sixtie and two yeeres: and he died.
et facti sunt omnes dies Iared nongenti sexaginta duo anni et mortuus est
21 Also Henoch liued sixtie and fiue yeeres, and begate Methushelah.
porro Enoch vixit sexaginta quinque annis et genuit Mathusalam
22 And Henoch walked with God, after he begate Methushelah, three hundreth yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
et ambulavit Enoch cum Deo postquam genuit Mathusalam trecentis annis et genuit filios et filias
23 So all the dayes of Henoch were three hundreth sixtie and fiue yeeres.
et facti sunt omnes dies Enoch trecenti sexaginta quinque anni
24 And Henoch walked with God, and he was no more seene: for God tooke him away.
ambulavitque cum Deo et non apparuit quia tulit eum Deus
25 Methushelah also liued an hundreth eightie and seuen yeeres, and begate Lamech.
vixit quoque Mathusalam centum octoginta septem annos et genuit Lamech
26 And Methushelah liued, after he begate Lamech, seuen hundreth eightie and two yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
et vixit Mathusalam postquam genuit Lamech septingentos octoginta duos annos et genuit filios et filias
27 So al the dayes of Methushelah were nine hundreth sixtie and nine yeeres: and he died.
et facti sunt omnes dies Mathusalae nongenti sexaginta novem anni et mortuus est
28 Then Lamech liued an hundreth eightie and two yeeres, and begate a sonne,
vixit autem Lamech centum octoginta duobus annis et genuit filium
29 And called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort vs concerning our worke and sorowe of our hands, as touching the earth, which the Lord hath cursed.
vocavitque nomen eius Noe dicens iste consolabitur nos ab operibus et laboribus manuum nostrarum in terra cui maledixit Dominus
30 And Lamech liued, after he begate Noah, fiue hundreth ninetie and fiue yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
vixitque Lamech postquam genuit Noe quingentos nonaginta quinque annos et genuit filios et filias
31 So all the dayes of Lamech were seuen hundreth seuentie and seuen yeeres: and he died.
et facti sunt omnes dies Lamech septingenti septuaginta septem anni et mortuus est
32 And Noah was fiue hundreth yeere olde. And Noah begate Shem, Ham and Iapheth.
Noe vero cum quingentorum esset annorum genuit Sem et Ham et Iafeth
