Genesis 5
1 This is the booke of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created Adam, in the likenes of God made he him,
Voici le livre de la génération des hommes. Le jour où Dieu créa Adam, il le créa à l'image de Dieu.
2 Male and female created he them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam in the day that they were created.
Il les créa mâle et femelle, il les bénit. Et il donna à l'homme le nom d'Adam, le jour où il les créa.
3 Nowe Adam liued an hundred and thirtie yeeres, and begate a childe in his owne likenes after his image, and called his name Sheth.
Or, Adam vécut deux cent trente ans, il engendra, selon son espèce et à son image, et il nomma son fils Seth.
4 And the dayes of Adam, after he had begotten Sheth, were eight hundreth yeeres, and he begate sonnes and daughters.
Or, les jours que vécut Adam, après qu'il eut engendré Seth, formèrent sept cents ans, et il engendra des fils et des filles.
5 So all the dayes that Adam liued, were nine hundreth and thirtie yeeres: and he died.
Et tous les jours que vécut Adam formèrent neuf cent trente ans, et il mourut.
6 And Sheth liued an hundreth and fiue yeeres, and begate Enosh.
Seth vécut deux cent cinq ans, et il engendra Enos.
7 And Sheth liued, after he begate Enosh, eight hundreth and seuen yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
Et Seth vécut, après qu'il eut engendré Enos, sept cent sept ans, et il engendra des fils et des filles.
8 So all the dayes of Sheth were nine hundreth and twelue yeeres: and he died.
Ainsi tous les jours de Seth formèrent neuf cent douze ans, et il mourut.
9 Also Enosh liued ninetie yeeres, and begate Kenan.
Enos vécut cent quatre-vingt-dix ans, et il engendra Caïnan.
10 And Enosh liued, after he begate Kenan, eight hundreth and fifteene yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
Et après qu'il eut engendré Caïnan, Enos vécut cent quinze ans, et il engendra des fils et des filles.
11 So all the dayes of Enosh were nine hundreth and fiue yeeres: and he died
Tous les jours d'Enos formèrent neuf cent cinq ans, et il mourut.
12 Likewise Kenan liued seuentie yeeres, and begate Mahalaleel.
Caïnan vécut cent soixante-dix ans, et il engendra Malalehel.
13 And Kenan liued, after he begate Mahalaleel, eight hundreth and fourtie yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
Et Caïnan vécut, après qu'il eut engendré Malalehel, sept cent quarante ans, et il engendra des fils et des filles.
14 So all the dayes of Kenan were nine hundreth and tenne yeeres: and he died.
Tous les jours de Caïnan formèrent neuf cent dix ans, et il mourut.
15 Mahalaleel also liued sixtie and fiue yeres, and begate Iered.
Malalehel vécut cent soixante-cinq ans, et il engendra Jared.
16 Also Mahalaleel liued, after he begate Iered, eight hundreth and thirtie yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
Et Malalehel vécut, après qu'il eut engendré Jared, sept cent trente ans, et il engendra des fils et des filles.
17 So all the dayes of Mahalaleel were eight hundreth ninetie and fiue yeeres: and he died.
Tous les jours de Malalehel formèrent huit cent quatre-vingt-quinze ans, et il mourut.
18 And Iered liued an hundreth sixtie and two yeeres, and begate Henoch.
Jared vécut cent soixante-deux ans, et il engendra Énoch.
19 Then Iered liued, after he begate Henoch, eight hundreth yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
Et Jared vécut, après qu'il eut engendré Énoch, huit cents ans, et il engendra des fils et des filles.
20 So all the dayes of Iered were nine hundreth sixtie and two yeeres: and he died.
Tous les jours de Jared formèrent neuf cent soixante-deux ans, et il mourut.
21 Also Henoch liued sixtie and fiue yeeres, and begate Methushelah.
Énoch vécut cent soixante-cinq ans, et il engendra Mathusalem.
22 And Henoch walked with God, after he begate Methushelah, three hundreth yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
Or Énoch, après qu'il eut engendré Mathusalem, vécut agréable à Dieu durant deux cents ans, et il engendra des fils et des filles.
23 So all the dayes of Henoch were three hundreth sixtie and fiue yeeres.
Et tous les jours d'Enoch formèrent trois cent soixante-cinq ans,
24 And Henoch walked with God, and he was no more seene: for God tooke him away.
Énoch vécut agréable à Dieu; ensuite personne ne le vit plus, parce que Dieu l'avait transféré.
25 Methushelah also liued an hundreth eightie and seuen yeeres, and begate Lamech.
Mathusalem vécut cent soixante-sept ans, et il engendra Lamech.
26 And Methushelah liued, after he begate Lamech, seuen hundreth eightie and two yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
Et Mathusalem vécut, après qu'il eut engendré Lamech, huit cent deux ans, et il engendra des fils et des filles.
27 So al the dayes of Methushelah were nine hundreth sixtie and nine yeeres: and he died.
Tous les jours que vécut Mathusalem formèrent neuf cent soixante-neuf ans, et il mourut.
28 Then Lamech liued an hundreth eightie and two yeeres, and begate a sonne,
Lamech vécut cent quatre-vingt-huit ans, et il engendra un fils,
29 And called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort vs concerning our worke and sorowe of our hands, as touching the earth, which the Lord hath cursed.
Auquel il donna le nom de Noé (repos), disant: Celui-ci nous fera reposer de nos travaux, et des peines de nos mains, ainsi que de la malédiction que le Seigneur Dieu a infligée à la terre.
30 And Lamech liued, after he begate Noah, fiue hundreth ninetie and fiue yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
Lamech vécut, après qu'il eut engendré Noé, cinq cent soixante-cinq ans, et il engendra des fils et des filles.
31 So all the dayes of Lamech were seuen hundreth seuentie and seuen yeeres: and he died.
Tous les jours de Lamech formèrent sept cent cinquante-trois ans, et il mourut.
32 And Noah was fiue hundreth yeere olde. And Noah begate Shem, Ham and Iapheth.
Noé avait cinq cents ans, et il engendra trois fils: Sem, Cham et Japhet.
