Genesis 5
1 This is the booke of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created Adam, in the likenes of God made he him,

2 Male and female created he them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam in the day that they were created.
Mawu wɔ ŋutsu kple nyɔnu, eye wòyra wo. Eyɔ wo tso gɔmedzedzea be “Ame.”
3 Nowe Adam liued an hundred and thirtie yeeres, and begate a childe in his owne likenes after his image, and called his name Sheth.
Adam xɔ ƒe alafa ɖeka kple blaetɔ̃ esi wòdzi Set. Ŋutsuvi sia ɖi fofoa ŋutɔ le go ɖe sia ɖe me.
4 And the dayes of Adam, after he had begotten Sheth, were eight hundreth yeeres, and he begate sonnes and daughters.
Le Set dzidzi megbe la, Adam ganɔ agbe ƒe alafa enyi. Egadzi ŋutsuviwo kple nyɔnuviwo.
5 So all the dayes that Adam liued, were nine hundreth and thirtie yeeres: and he died.
Exɔ ƒe alafa asiekɛ kple blaetɔ̃ hafi ku.
6 And Sheth liued an hundreth and fiue yeeres, and begate Enosh.
Set xɔ ƒe alafa ɖeka kple atɔ̃ hafi dzi Enos.
7 And Sheth liued, after he begate Enosh, eight hundreth and seuen yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
Eganɔ agbe ƒe alafa enyi kple adre, eye wògadzi ŋutsuviwo kple nyɔnuviwo.
8 So all the dayes of Sheth were nine hundreth and twelue yeeres: and he died.
Exɔ ƒe alafa asiekɛ kple wuieve hafi ku.
9 Also Enosh liued ninetie yeeres, and begate Kenan.
Esime Enos xɔ ƒe blaasiekɛ la, ezu fofo na Kenan,
10 And Enosh liued, after he begate Kenan, eight hundreth and fifteene yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
eye esi wòdzi Kenan megbe la, Enos ganɔ agbe ƒe alafa enyi wuiatɔ̃, eye wodzi ŋutsuvi kple nyɔnuvi bubuwo nɛ.
11 So all the dayes of Enosh were nine hundreth and fiue yeeres: and he died
Enos ƒe agbenɔƒewo katã nye ƒe alafa asiekɛ kple atɔ̃, eye wòku.
12 Likewise Kenan liued seuentie yeeres, and begate Mahalaleel.
Kenan xɔ ƒe blaadre hafi dzi Via ŋutsuvi Mahalalel.
13 And Kenan liued, after he begate Mahalaleel, eight hundreth and fourtie yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
Kenan ganɔ agbe ƒe alafa enyi kple blaene le Mahalalel kple Kenan dzidzi vɔ megbe. Edzi ŋutsuviwo kple nyɔnuviwo bubuwo hã emegbe.
14 So all the dayes of Kenan were nine hundreth and tenne yeeres: and he died.
Kenan ku esi wòxɔ ƒe alafa asiekɛ kple ewo.
15 Mahalaleel also liued sixtie and fiue yeres, and begate Iered.
Mahalalel xɔ ƒe blaade-vɔ-atɔ̃ esi wòdzi Via ŋutsuvi Yared.
16 Also Mahalaleel liued, after he begate Iered, eight hundreth and thirtie yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
Esi Mahalalel dzi Yared megbe la, eganɔ agbe ƒe alafa enyi kple blaetɔ̃. Edzi ŋutsuviwo kple nyɔnuviwo,
17 So all the dayes of Mahalaleel were eight hundreth ninetie and fiue yeeres: and he died.
eye wòku esi wòxɔ ƒe alafa enyi blaasiekɛ-vɔ-atɔ̃.
18 And Iered liued an hundreth sixtie and two yeeres, and begate Henoch.
Yared xɔ ƒe alafa ɖeka blaade-vɔ-eve esi wòdzi Via ŋutsuvi Enɔk.
19 Then Iered liued, after he begate Henoch, eight hundreth yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
Eganɔ agbe ƒe alafa enyi. Edzi ŋutsuviwo kple nyɔnuviwo.
20 So all the dayes of Iered were nine hundreth sixtie and two yeeres: and he died.
Yared ku esi wòxɔ ƒe alafa asiekɛ blaade-vɔ-eve.
21 Also Henoch liued sixtie and fiue yeeres, and begate Methushelah.
Enɔk xɔ ƒe blaade-vɔ-atɔ̃ esi wòdzi Metusela.
22 And Henoch walked with God, after he begate Methushelah, three hundreth yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
Eganɔ agbe ƒe alafa etɔ̃, eye wòzɔ nyuie kple Mawu. Edzi ŋutsuviwo kple nyɔnuviwo.
23 So all the dayes of Henoch were three hundreth sixtie and fiue yeeres.
Enɔk xɔ ƒe alafa etɔ̃ blaade-vɔ-atɔ̃,
24 And Henoch walked with God, and he was no more seene: for God tooke him away.
eye esi wògazɔ kple Mawu kplikplikpli ta la, ebu vĩi, elabena Mawu kɔe dzoe.
25 Methushelah also liued an hundreth eightie and seuen yeeres, and begate Lamech.
Metusela xɔ ƒe alafa ɖeka blaenyi-vɔ-adre hafi dzi Via ŋutsuvi Lamek.
26 And Methushelah liued, after he begate Lamech, seuen hundreth eightie and two yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
Eganɔ agbe ƒe alafa adre blaenyi-vɔ-eve. Edzi ŋutsuviwo kple nyɔnuviwo.
27 So al the dayes of Methushelah were nine hundreth sixtie and nine yeeres: and he died.
Metusela ku esi wòxɔ ƒe alafa asiekɛ blaade-vɔ-asiekɛ.
28 Then Lamech liued an hundreth eightie and two yeeres, and begate a sonne,
Lamek xɔ ƒe alafa ɖeka kple blaenyi-vɔ-eve hafi wòdzi Via ŋutsuvi Noa.
29 And called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort vs concerning our worke and sorowe of our hands, as touching the earth, which the Lord hath cursed.
Lamek na ŋkɔe be Noa si gɔmee nye “Gbɔdzɔe,” elabena egblɔ be, “Ame sia ahe gbɔdzɔe vɛ na mí tso agbledɔ sesẽ si wɔm míele le anyigba si Mawu ƒo fi dee dzi la me.”
30 And Lamech liued, after he begate Noah, fiue hundreth ninetie and fiue yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
Lamek ganɔ agbe ƒe alafa atɔ̃ blaasiekɛ-vɔ-atɔ̃ le Noa dzidzi megbe. Edzi ŋutsuviwo kple nyɔnuviwo.
31 So all the dayes of Lamech were seuen hundreth seuentie and seuen yeeres: and he died.
Lamek ku esi wòxɔ ƒe alafa adre blaadre-vɔ-adre.
32 And Noah was fiue hundreth yeere olde. And Noah begate Shem, Ham and Iapheth.
Noa xɔ ƒe alafa atɔ̃, eye wòdzi ŋutsuvi etɔ̃: Sem, Ham kple Yafet.
