Genesis 49
1 Then Iaakob called his sonnes, and sayde, Gather your selues together, that I may tell you what shall come to you in the last dayes.
После сазва Јаков синове своје и рече: Скупите се да вам јавим шта ће вам бити до послетка.
2 Gather your selues together, and heare, ye sonnes of Iaakob, and hearken vnto Israel your father.
Скупите се и послушајте, синови Јаковљеви, послушајте Израиља оца свог.
3 Reuben mine eldest sonne, thou art my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellencie of dignitie, and the excellencie of power:
Рувиме, ти си првенац мој, крепост моја и почетак силе моје; први господством и први снагом.
4 Thou wast light as water: thou shalt not be excellent, because thou wentest vp to thy fathers bed: then diddest thou defile my bed, thy dignitie is gone.
Навро си као вода; нећеш бити први; јер си стао на постељу оца свог и оскврнио је легав на њу.
5 Simeon and Leui, brethren in euill, the instruments of crueltie are in their habitations.
Симеун и Левије, браћа, мачеви су им оружје неправди.
6 Into their secret let not my soule come: my glory, be not thou ioyned with their assembly: for in their wrath they slew a man, and in their selfe will they digged downe a wall.
У тајне њихове да не улази душа моја, са збором њиховим да се не саставља слава моја; јер у гневу свом побише људе, и за своје весеље покидаше волове.
7 Cursed be their wrath, for it was fierce, and their rage, for it was cruell: I will deuide them in Iaakob, and scatter them in Israel.
Проклет да је гнев њихов, што беше нагао, и љутина њихова, што беше жестока; разделићу их по Јакову, и расућу их по Израиљу.
8 Thou Iudah, thy brethre shall praise thee: thine hande shalbe in the necke of thine enemies: thy fathers sonnes shall bowe downe vnto thee.
Јуда, тебе ће хвалити браћа твоја, а рука ће ти бити за вратом непријатељима твојим, и клањаће ти се синови оца твог.
9 Iudah, as a Lions whelpe shalt thou come vp from the spoyle, my sonne. He shall lye downe and couche as a Lion, and as a Lionesse: Who shall stirre him vp?
Лавићу Јуда! С плена си се вратио, сине мој; спусти се и леже као лав и као љути лав; ко ће га пробудити?
10 The scepter shall not depart from Iudah, nor a Lawegiuer from betweene his feete, vntill Shiloh come, and the people shall be gathered vnto him.
Палица владалачка неће се одвојити од Јуде нити од ногу његових онај који поставља закон, докле не дође Онај коме припада, и Њему ће се покоравати народи.
11 He shall binde his Asse foale vnto ye vine, and his Asses colte vnto the best vine. hee shall wash his garment in wine, and his cloke in the blood of grapes.
Веже за чокот магаре своје, и за племениту лозу младе од магарице своје; у вину пере хаљину своју и огртач свој у соку од грожђа.
12 His eyes shalbe red with wine, and his teeth white with milke.
Очи му се црвене од вина и зуби беле од млека.
13 Zebulun shall dwell by the sea side, and he shalbe an hauen for shippes: and his border shalbe vnto Zidon.
Завулон ће живети покрај мора и где пристају лађе, а међа ће му бити до Сидона.
14 Issachar shalbe a strong asse, couching downe betweene two burdens:
Исахар је магарац јак у костима, који лежи у тору,
15 And he shall see that rest is good, and that the land is pleasant, and he shall bow his shoulder to beare, and shalbe subiect vnto tribute.
И виде да је почивање добро и да је земља мила, сагнуће рамена своја да носи, и плаћаће данак.
16 Dan shall iudge his people as one of the tribes of Israel.
Дан ће судити свом народу, као једно између племена Израиљевих.
17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder by the path, byting the horse heeles, so that his rider shall fall backward.
Дан ће бити змија на путу и гуја на стази, која уједа коња за кичицу, те пада коњ на узнако.
18 O Lord, I haue waited for thy saluation.
Господе, Тебе чекам да ме избавиш.
19 Gad, an hoste of men shall ouercome him, but he shall ouercome at the last.
А Гад, њега ће војска савладати; али ће најпосле он надвладати.
20 Concerning Asher, his bread shalbe fat, and he shall giue pleasures for a king.
У Асира ће бити обилата храна, и он ће давати сласти царске.
21 Naphtali shalbe a hinde let goe, giuing goodly wordes.
Нефталим је кошута пуштена, и говориће лепе речи.
22 Ioseph shalbe a fruitefull bough, euen a fruitful bough by the well side: the small boughs shall runne vpon the wall.
Јосиф је родна грана, родна грана крај извора, којој се огранци раширише сврх зида.
23 And the archers grieued him, and shotte against him and hated him.
Ако га и уцвелише љуто и стрељаше на њ, и бише му непријатељи стрелци,
24 But his bowe abode strong, and the hands of his armes were strengthened, by the handes of the mighty God of Iaakob, of whom was the feeder appointed, by the stone of Israel,
Опет оста јак лук његов и ојачаше мишице руку његових од руку јаког Бога Јаковљевог, одакле поста пастир, камен Израиљу,
25 Euen by the God of thy father, who shall helpe thee, and by the almightie, who shall blesse thee with heauenly blessinges from aboue, with blessings of the deepe, that lyeth beneath, with blessings of the brestes, and of the wombe.
Од силног Бога оца твог, који ће ти помагати, и од Свемогућег, који ће те благословити благословима озго с неба, благословима оздо из бездана, благословима од дојака и од материце.
26 The blessings of thy father shalbe stronger then the blessings of mine elders: vnto the ende of the hilles of the worlde they shall be on the head of Ioseph, and on the top of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.
Благослови оца твог надвисише благослове мојих старих сврх брда вечних, нека буду над главом Јосифовом и над теменом одвојеног између браће.
27 Beniamin shall rauine as a wolfe: in the morning he shall deuoure the pray, and at night he shall deuide the spoyle.
Венијамин је вук грабљиви, јутром једе лов, а вечером дели плен.
28 All these are the twelue tribes of Israel, and thus their father spake vnto them, and blessed them: euery one of them blessed hee with a seuerall blessing.
Ово су дванаест племена Израиљевих, и ово им отац изговори кад их благослови, свако благословом његовим благослови их.
29 And he charged them and sayd vnto them, I am ready to be gathered vnto my people: burie mee with my fathers in the caue, that is in the fielde of Ephron the Hittite,

30 In the caue that is in the field of Machpelah besides Mamre in the land of Canaan: which caue Abraham bought with the fielde of Ephron the Hittite for a possession to burie in.
У пећини која је на њиви макпелској према Мамрији у земљи хананској, коју купи Аврам с њивом у Ефрона Хетејина да има свој гроб.
31 There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife: there they buryed Izhak and Rebekah his wife: and there I buried Leah.
Онде погребе Аврама и Сару жену његову, онде погребоше Исака и Ревеку жену његову, и онде погребох Лију.
32 The purchase of the fielde and the caue that is therein, was bought of the children of Heth.
А купљена је њива и пећина на њој у синова Хетових.
33 Thus Iaakob made an end of giuing charge to his sonnes, and plucked vp his feete into the bed and gaue vp the ghost, and was gathered to his people.
А кад изговори Јаков заповести синовима својим, диже ноге своје на постељу, и умре, и прибран би к роду свом.
