Genesis 49
1 Then Iaakob called his sonnes, and sayde, Gather your selues together, that I may tell you what shall come to you in the last dayes.
E chamou Jacó a seus filhos, e disse: Juntai-vos, e vos declararei o que vos há de acontecer nos últimos dias.
2 Gather your selues together, and heare, ye sonnes of Iaakob, and hearken vnto Israel your father.
Juntai-vos e ouvi, filhos de Jacó; E escutai a vosso pai Israel.
3 Reuben mine eldest sonne, thou art my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellencie of dignitie, and the excellencie of power:
Rúben, tu és meu primogênito, minha força, e o princípio do meu vigor; Principal em dignidade, principal em poder.
4 Thou wast light as water: thou shalt not be excellent, because thou wentest vp to thy fathers bed: then diddest thou defile my bed, thy dignitie is gone.
Corrente como as águas, não sejas o principal; Porquanto subiste ao leito de teu pai: Então te contaminaste, subindo a meu estrado.
5 Simeon and Leui, brethren in euill, the instruments of crueltie are in their habitations.
Simeão e Levi, irmãos: Armas de violência são suas armas.
6 Into their secret let not my soule come: my glory, be not thou ioyned with their assembly: for in their wrath they slew a man, and in their selfe will they digged downe a wall.
Em seu secreto não entre minha alma, nem minha honra se junte em sua companhia; Que em seu furor mataram homem, E em sua vontade aleijaram bois.
7 Cursed be their wrath, for it was fierce, and their rage, for it was cruell: I will deuide them in Iaakob, and scatter them in Israel.
Maldito seu furor, que foi bravio; E sua ira, que foi dura: Eu os dividirei em Jacó, E os espalharei em Israel.
8 Thou Iudah, thy brethre shall praise thee: thine hande shalbe in the necke of thine enemies: thy fathers sonnes shall bowe downe vnto thee.
Judá, teus irmãos te louvarão: Tua mão esterá sobre o pescoço de teus inimigos: Os filhos de teu pai se inclinarão a ti.
9 Iudah, as a Lions whelpe shalt thou come vp from the spoyle, my sonne. He shall lye downe and couche as a Lion, and as a Lionesse: Who shall stirre him vp?
Jovem leão é Judá: Da presa subiste, filho meu: Encurvou-se, lançou-se como leão, Assim como leão velho; quem o despertará?
10 The scepter shall not depart from Iudah, nor a Lawegiuer from betweene his feete, vntill Shiloh come, and the people shall be gathered vnto him.
Não será tirado o cetro de Judá, E o legislador dentre seus pés, Até que venha Siló; E a ele se congregarão os povos.
11 He shall binde his Asse foale vnto ye vine, and his Asses colte vnto the best vine. hee shall wash his garment in wine, and his cloke in the blood of grapes.
Atando à vide seu jumentinho, E à videira o filho de sua jumenta, Lavou no veio sua roupa, E no sangue de uvas seu manto:
12 His eyes shalbe red with wine, and his teeth white with milke.
Seus olhos mais vermelhos que o vinho, E os dentes mais brancos que o leite.
13 Zebulun shall dwell by the sea side, and he shalbe an hauen for shippes: and his border shalbe vnto Zidon.
Zebulom em portos de mar habitará, E será para porto de navios; E seu termo até Sidom.
14 Issachar shalbe a strong asse, couching downe betweene two burdens:
Issacar, asno de forte estrutura deitado entre dois apriscos:
15 And he shall see that rest is good, and that the land is pleasant, and he shall bow his shoulder to beare, and shalbe subiect vnto tribute.
E viu que o descanso era bom, E que a terra era deleitosa; E baixou seu ombro para levar, E serviu em tributo.
16 Dan shall iudge his people as one of the tribes of Israel.
Dã julgará a seu povo, Como uma das tribos de Israel.
17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder by the path, byting the horse heeles, so that his rider shall fall backward.
Será Dã serpente junto ao caminho, víbora junto à vereda, que morde os calcanhares dos cavalos, e faz cair por detrás ao cavaleiro deles.
18 O Lord, I haue waited for thy saluation.
Tua salvação espero, ó SENHOR.
19 Gad, an hoste of men shall ouercome him, but he shall ouercome at the last.
Gade, exército o atacará; mas ele contra-atacará ao fim.
20 Concerning Asher, his bread shalbe fat, and he shall giue pleasures for a king.
O pão de Aser será espesso, E ele dará deleites ao rei.
21 Naphtali shalbe a hinde let goe, giuing goodly wordes.
Naftali, serva solta, que diz belas coisas.
22 Ioseph shalbe a fruitefull bough, euen a fruitful bough by the well side: the small boughs shall runne vpon the wall.
Ramo frutífero é José, ramo frutífero é junto à fonte, cujos ramos se estendem sobre o muro;
23 And the archers grieued him, and shotte against him and hated him.
E causaram-lhe amargura, e flecharam-lhe, e os arqueiros o odiaram;
24 But his bowe abode strong, and the hands of his armes were strengthened, by the handes of the mighty God of Iaakob, of whom was the feeder appointed, by the stone of Israel,
Mas seu arco manteve-se forte, E os braços de suas mãos se fortaleceram pelas mãos do Forte de Jacó, (Dali é o Pastor, e a Pedra de Israel, )
25 Euen by the God of thy father, who shall helpe thee, and by the almightie, who shall blesse thee with heauenly blessinges from aboue, with blessings of the deepe, that lyeth beneath, with blessings of the brestes, and of the wombe.
Do Deus de teu pai, o qual te ajudará, E do Todo-Poderoso, o qual te abençoará com bênçãos dos céus de acima, com bênçãos do abismo que está abaixo, Com bênçãos do seio e da madre.
26 The blessings of thy father shalbe stronger then the blessings of mine elders: vnto the ende of the hilles of the worlde they shall be on the head of Ioseph, and on the top of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.
As bênçãos de teu pai Foram maiores que as bênçãos de meus progenitores: Até o termo das colinas eternas serão sobre a cabeça de José, E sobre o topo da cabeça do que foi separado de seus irmãos.
27 Beniamin shall rauine as a wolfe: in the morning he shall deuoure the pray, and at night he shall deuide the spoyle.
Benjamim, lobo arrebatador; de manhã comerá a presa, e à tarde repartirá os despojos.
28 All these are the twelue tribes of Israel, and thus their father spake vnto them, and blessed them: euery one of them blessed hee with a seuerall blessing.
Todos estes foram as doze tribos de Israel: e isto foi o que seu pai lhes disse, e os abençoou; a cada um por sua bênção os abençoou.
29 And he charged them and sayd vnto them, I am ready to be gathered vnto my people: burie mee with my fathers in the caue, that is in the fielde of Ephron the Hittite,
Mandou-lhes logo, e disse-lhes: Eu vou a ser reunido com meu povo: sepultai-me com meus pais na caverna que está no campo de Efrom os heteus;
30 In the caue that is in the field of Machpelah besides Mamre in the land of Canaan: which caue Abraham bought with the fielde of Ephron the Hittite for a possession to burie in.
Na caverna que está no campo de Macpela, que está diante de Manre na terra de Canaã, a qual comprou Abraão com o mesmo campo de Efrom os heteus, para herança de sepultura.
31 There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife: there they buryed Izhak and Rebekah his wife: and there I buried Leah.
Ali sepultaram a Abraão e a Sara sua mulher; ali sepultaram a Isaque e a Rebeca sua mulher; ali também sepultei Lia.
32 The purchase of the fielde and the caue that is therein, was bought of the children of Heth.
O campo e a cova que nele está foram comprados dos filhos de Hete.
33 Thus Iaakob made an end of giuing charge to his sonnes, and plucked vp his feete into the bed and gaue vp the ghost, and was gathered to his people.
E quando acabou Jacó de dar ordens a seus filhos, encolheu seus pés na cama, e expirou; e foi reunido com seus pais.
