Genesis 49
1 Then Iaakob called his sonnes, and sayde, Gather your selues together, that I may tell you what shall come to you in the last dayes.
| و یعقوب، پسران خود را خوانده، گفت: «جمع شوید تا شما را از آنچه درایام آخر به شما واقع خواهد شد، خبر دهم. | ۱ |
2 Gather your selues together, and heare, ye sonnes of Iaakob, and hearken vnto Israel your father.
| ای پسران یعقوب جمع شوید و بشنوید! و به پدرخود، اسرائیل، گوش گیرید. | ۲ |
3 Reuben mine eldest sonne, thou art my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellencie of dignitie, and the excellencie of power:
| «ای روبین! تو نخست زاده منی، توانایی من وابتدای قوتم، فضیلت رفعت و فضیلت قدرت. | ۳ |
4 Thou wast light as water: thou shalt not be excellent, because thou wentest vp to thy fathers bed: then diddest thou defile my bed, thy dignitie is gone.
| جوشان مثل آب، برتری نخواهی یافت، زیرا که بر بستر پدر خود برآمدی. آنگاه آن را بی‌حرمت ساختی، به بستر من برآمد. | ۴ |
5 Simeon and Leui, brethren in euill, the instruments of crueltie are in their habitations.
| «شمعون و لاوی برادرند. آلات ظلم، شمشیرهای ایشان است. | ۵ |
6 Into their secret let not my soule come: my glory, be not thou ioyned with their assembly: for in their wrath they slew a man, and in their selfe will they digged downe a wall.
| ای نفس من به مشورت ایشان داخل مشو، و‌ای جلال من به محفل ایشان متحد مباش زیرا در غضب خودمردم را کشتند. و در خودرایی خویش گاوان راپی کردند. | ۶ |
7 Cursed be their wrath, for it was fierce, and their rage, for it was cruell: I will deuide them in Iaakob, and scatter them in Israel.
| ملعون باد خشم ایشان، که سخت بود، و غضب ایشان زیرا که تند بود! ایشان را دریعقوب متفرق سازم و در اسرائیل پراکنده کنم. | ۷ |
8 Thou Iudah, thy brethre shall praise thee: thine hande shalbe in the necke of thine enemies: thy fathers sonnes shall bowe downe vnto thee.
| «ای یهودا تو را برادرانت خواهند ستود. دستت بر گردن دشمنانت خواهد بود، و پسران پدرت، تو را تعظیم خواهند کرد. | ۸ |
9 Iudah, as a Lions whelpe shalt thou come vp from the spoyle, my sonne. He shall lye downe and couche as a Lion, and as a Lionesse: Who shall stirre him vp?
| یهوداشیربچه‌ای است، ای پسرم از شکار برآمدی. مثل شیر خویشتن را جمع کرده، در کمین می‌خوابد وچون شیرماده‌ای است. کیست او را برانگیزاند؟ | ۹ |
10 The scepter shall not depart from Iudah, nor a Lawegiuer from betweene his feete, vntill Shiloh come, and the people shall be gathered vnto him.
| عصا از یهودا دور نخواهد شد. و نه فرمان فرمایی از میان پایهای وی تا شیلو بیاید. ومر او را اطاعت امتها خواهد بود. | ۱۰ |
11 He shall binde his Asse foale vnto ye vine, and his Asses colte vnto the best vine. hee shall wash his garment in wine, and his cloke in the blood of grapes.
| کره خود رابه تاک و کره الاغ خویش را به مو بسته. جامه خودرا به شراب، و رخت خویش را به عصیر انگورمی شوید. | ۱۱ |
12 His eyes shalbe red with wine, and his teeth white with milke.
| چشمانش به شراب سرخ و دندانش به شیر سفید است. | ۱۲ |
13 Zebulun shall dwell by the sea side, and he shalbe an hauen for shippes: and his border shalbe vnto Zidon.
| «زبولون، بر کنار دریا ساکن شود، و نزدبندر کشتیها. و حدود او تا به صیدون خواهدرسید. | ۱۳ |
14 Issachar shalbe a strong asse, couching downe betweene two burdens:
| یساکار حمار قوی است در میان آغلهاخوابیده. | ۱۴ |
15 And he shall see that rest is good, and that the land is pleasant, and he shall bow his shoulder to beare, and shalbe subiect vnto tribute.
| چون محل آرمیدن را دید که پسندیده است، و زمین را دلگشا یافت، پس گردن خویش را برای بار خم کرد، و بنده خراج گردید. | ۱۵ |
16 Dan shall iudge his people as one of the tribes of Israel.
| «دان، قوم خود را داوری خواهد کرد، چون یکی از اسباط اسرائیل. | ۱۶ |
17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder by the path, byting the horse heeles, so that his rider shall fall backward.
| دان، ماری خواهد بود به‌سر راه، و افعی بر کنار طریق که پاشنه اسب رابگزد تا سوارش از عقب افتد. | ۱۷ |
18 O Lord, I haue waited for thy saluation.
| ای یهوه منتظرنجات تو می‌باشم. | ۱۸ |
19 Gad, an hoste of men shall ouercome him, but he shall ouercome at the last.
| «جاد، گروهی بر وی هجوم خواهند‌آورد، و او به عقب ایشان هجوم خواهد آورد. | ۱۹ |
20 Concerning Asher, his bread shalbe fat, and he shall giue pleasures for a king.
| اشیر، نان او چرب خواهد بود، و لذات ملوکانه خواهدداد. | ۲۰ |
21 Naphtali shalbe a hinde let goe, giuing goodly wordes.
| نفتالی، غزال آزادی است، که سخنان حسنه خواهد داد. | ۲۱ |
22 Ioseph shalbe a fruitefull bough, euen a fruitful bough by the well side: the small boughs shall runne vpon the wall.
| «یوسف، شاخه باروری است. شاخه باروربر سر چشمه‌ای که شاخه هایش از دیوار برآید. | ۲۲ |
23 And the archers grieued him, and shotte against him and hated him.
| تیراندازان او را رنجانیدند، و تیر انداختند واذیت رسانیدند. | ۲۳ |
24 But his bowe abode strong, and the hands of his armes were strengthened, by the handes of the mighty God of Iaakob, of whom was the feeder appointed, by the stone of Israel,
| لیکن کمان وی در قوت قایم ماند. و بازوهای دستش به‌دست قدیر یعقوب مقوی گردید که از آنجاست شبان و صخره اسرائیل. | ۲۴ |
25 Euen by the God of thy father, who shall helpe thee, and by the almightie, who shall blesse thee with heauenly blessinges from aboue, with blessings of the deepe, that lyeth beneath, with blessings of the brestes, and of the wombe.
| از خدای پدرت که تو را اعانت می‌کند، و از قادرمطلق که تو را برکت می‌دهد، به برکات آسمانی از اعلی و برکات لجه‌ای که دراسفل واقع است، و برکات پستانها و رحم. | ۲۵ |
26 The blessings of thy father shalbe stronger then the blessings of mine elders: vnto the ende of the hilles of the worlde they shall be on the head of Ioseph, and on the top of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.
| برکات پدرت بر برکات جبال ازلی فایق آمد، وبر حدود کوههای ابدی و بر سر یوسف خواهدبود، و بر فرق او که از برادرانش برگزیده شد. | ۲۶ |
27 Beniamin shall rauine as a wolfe: in the morning he shall deuoure the pray, and at night he shall deuide the spoyle.
| «بنیامین، گرگی است که می‌درد. صبحگاهان شکار را خواهد خورد، و شامگاهان غارت را تقسیم خواهد کرد.» | ۲۷ |
28 All these are the twelue tribes of Israel, and thus their father spake vnto them, and blessed them: euery one of them blessed hee with a seuerall blessing.
| همه اینان دوازده سبط اسرائیلند، و این است آنچه پدرایشان، بدیشان گفت و ایشان را برکت داد، و هریک را موافق برکت وی برکت داد. | ۲۸ |
29 And he charged them and sayd vnto them, I am ready to be gathered vnto my people: burie mee with my fathers in the caue, that is in the fielde of Ephron the Hittite,
| پس ایشان را وصیت فرموده، گفت: «من به قوم خود ملحق می‌شوم، مرا با پدرانم در مغاره‌ای که در صحرای عفرون حتی است، دفن کنید. | ۲۹ |
30 In the caue that is in the field of Machpelah besides Mamre in the land of Canaan: which caue Abraham bought with the fielde of Ephron the Hittite for a possession to burie in.
| در مغاره‌ای که در صحرای مکفیله است، که درمقابل ممری در زمین کنعان واقع است، که ابراهیم آن را با آن صحرا از عفرون حتی برای ملکیت مقبره خرید. | ۳۰ |
31 There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife: there they buryed Izhak and Rebekah his wife: and there I buried Leah.
| آنجا ابراهیم و زوجه‌اش، ساره رادفن کردند؛ آنجا اسحاق و زوجه او رفقه را دفن کردند؛ و آنجا لیه را دفن نمودم. | ۳۱ |
32 The purchase of the fielde and the caue that is therein, was bought of the children of Heth.
| خرید آن صحرا و مغاره‌ای که در آن است از بنی حت بود.» | ۳۲ |
33 Thus Iaakob made an end of giuing charge to his sonnes, and plucked vp his feete into the bed and gaue vp the ghost, and was gathered to his people.
| و چون یعقوب وصیت را با پسران خود به پایان برد، پایهای خود را به بستر کشیده، جان بداد و به قوم خویش ملحق گردید. | ۳۳ |
