Genesis 36
1 Nowe these are the generations of Esau, which is Edom.
To są dzieje rodu Ezawa, czyli Edomu.
2 Esau tooke his wiues of the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon an Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon an Hiuite,
Ezaw pojął swoje żony z córek Kanaanu: Adę, córkę Elona Chetyty, Oholibamę, córkę Any, córki Sibeona Chiwwity;
3 And tooke Basemath Ishmaels daughter, sister of Nebaioth.
I Basmat, córkę Izmaela, siostrę Nebajota.
4 And Adah bare vnto Esau, Eliphaz: and Basemath bare Reuel.
I Ada urodziła Ezawowi Elifaza, a Basmat urodziła Rehuela.
5 Also Aholibamah bare Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah: these are the sonnes of Esau which were borne to him in the land of Canaan.
Oholibama urodziła Jeusza, Jalama i Koracha. To [są] synowie Ezawa, którzy mu się urodzili w ziemi Kanaan.
6 So Esau tooke his wiues and his sonnes, and his daughters, and all the soules of his house, and his flocks, and all his cattell, and all his substance, which he had gotten in the land of Canaan, and went into an other countrey from his brother Iaakob.
I Ezaw wziął swoje żony, synów, córki i wszystkich domowników, swoje stada, wszystkie bydła i całe swoje mienie, które zdobył w ziemi Kanaan, i odszedł od swego brata Jakuba do [innej] ziemi;
7 For their riches were so great, that they could not dwell together, and the lande, wherein they were strangers, coulde not receiue them because of their flockes.
Bo ich majątek był tak wielki, że nie mogli mieszkać razem, i ziemia, na której przebywali, nie mogła ich utrzymać z powodu [mnóstwa] ich stad.
8 Therefore dwelt Esau in mount Seir: this Esau is Edom.
I Ezaw zamieszkał na górze Seir. Ezaw to Edom.
9 So these are the generations of Esau father of Edom in mount Seir.
A to są dzieje rodu Ezawa, ojca Edomitów, na górze Seir.
10 These are the names of Esaus sonnes: Eliphaz, the sonne of Adah, the wife of Esau, and Reuel the sonne of Bashemath, the wife of Esau.
I to są imiona synów Ezawa: Elifaz, syn Ady, żony Ezawa, Rehuel, syn Basmat, żony Ezawa.
11 And the sonnes of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.
Synami zaś Elifaza byli: Teman, Omar, Sefo, Gatam i Kenaz.
12 And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esaus sonne, and bare vnto Eliphaz, Amalek: these be the sonnes of Adah Esaus wife.
A Timna była nałożnicą Elifaza, syna Ezawa, i urodziła Elifazowi Amaleka. To [są] synowie Ady, żony Ezawa.
13 And these are the sonnes of Reuel: Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah: these were the sonnes of Bashemath Esaus wife.
To [są] synowie Rehuela: Nachat, Zerach, Szamma i Mizza. Byli oni synami Basmat, żony Ezawa.
14 And these were the sonnes of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon Esaus wife: for she bare vnto Esau, Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah.
A ci byli synami żony Ezawa Oholibamy, córki Any, córki Sibeona. Urodziła ona Ezawowi Jeusza, Jalama i Koracha.
15 These were Dukes of the sonnes of Esau: the sonnes of Eliphaz, the first borne of Esau: Duke Teman, Duke Omar, Duke Zepho, Duke Kenaz,
To [są] książęta spośród synów Ezawa, synowie Elifaza, pierworodnego Ezawa: książę Teman, książę Omar, książę Sefo, książę Kenaz.
16 Duke Korah, Duke Gatam, Duke Amalek: these are the Dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom: these were the sonnes of Adah.
Książę Korach, książę Gatam, książę Amalek. Ci książęta [pochodzą] z Elifaza, w ziemi Edom, to [są] synowie Ady.
17 And these are the sonnes of Reuel Esaus sonne: Duke Nahath, Duke Zerah, Duke Shammah, Duke Mizzah: these are the Dukes that came of Reuel in the land of Edom: these are the sonnes of Bashemath Esaus wife.
To [są] synowie Rehuela, syna Ezawa: książę Nachat, książę Zerach, książę Szamma, książę Mizza. Ci książęta [pochodzą] z Rehuela, w ziemi Edom. Oni [są] synami Basmat, żony Ezawa.
18 Likewise these were the sonnes of Aholibamah Esaus wife: Duke Ieush, Duke Iaalam, Duke Korah: these Dukes came of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah Esaus wife.
A to [są] synowie Oholibamy, żony Ezawa: książę Jeusz, książę Jalam, książę Korach. Ci książęta [pochodzą] z Oholibamy, córki Any, żony Ezawa.
19 These are the children of Esau, and these are the Dukes of them: This Esau is Edom.
To [są] synowie Ezawa, czyli Edom, i to [są] ich książęta.
20 These are the sonnes of Seir the Horite, which inhabited the lande before, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah.
A to [są] synowie Seira, Choryty, mieszkańcy tej ziemi: Lotan, Szobal, Sibeon i Ana;
21 And Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan: these are the Dukes of the Horites, the sonnes of Seir in the land of Edom.
Diszon, Eser i Diszan. To [są] książęta Chorytów, synowie Seira w ziemi Edom.
22 And the sonnes of Lotan were, Hori and Hemam, and Lotans sister was Timna.
Synami Lotana byli: Chori i Hemam; a siostrą Lotana była Tamna.
23 And the sonnes of Shobal were these: Aluan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
Synowie zaś Szobala: Alwan, Manachat, Ebal, Szefo i Onam.
24 And these are the sonnes of Zibeon: Both Aiah, and Anah: this was Anah that founde mules in the wildernesse, as he fedde his father Zibeons asses.
Synami Sibeona [są] Ajja i Ana. To ten Ana, który znalazł muły na pustyni, gdy pasł osły swego ojca Sibeona.
25 And the children of Anah were these: Dishon and Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah.
A to [są] dzieci Any: Diszon i Oholibama, córka Any.
26 Also these are the sonnes of Dishan: Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
I synowie Diszona: Chemdan, Eszban, Jitran i Keran.
27 The sonnes of Ezer are these: Bilhan, and Zaauan, and Akan.
To są synowie Esera: Bilhan, Zaawan i Akan.
28 The sonnes of Dishan are these: Vz, and Aran.
I synowie Diszana: Us i Aran.
29 These are the Dukes of the Horites: Duke Lotan, Duke Shobal, Duke Zibeon, Duke Anah,
To są książęta Chorytów: książę Lotan, książę Szobal, książę Sibeon, książę Ana.
30 Duke Dishon, Duke Ezer, Duke Dishan: these bee the Dukes of the Horites, after their Dukedomes in the land of Seir.
Książę Diszon, książę Eser, książę Diszan. [Są] to książęta Chorytów, według ich księstw, w ziemi Seir.
31 And these are the Kings that reigned in the lande of Edom, before there reigned any King ouer the children of Israel.
To [są] królowie, którzy panowali w ziemi Edom, zanim panował król nad synami Izraela.
32 Then Bela the sonne of Beor reigned in Edom, and the name of his citie was Dinhabah.
W Edomie panował Bela, syn Beora, a nazwa jego miasta – Dinhaba.
33 And when Bela dyed, Iobab the sonne of Zerah of Bozra reigned in his steade.
I Bela umarł, a w jego miejsce panował Jobab, syn Zeracha z Bosry.
34 When Iobab also was dead, Husham of the land of Temani reigned in his steade.
Jobab umarł, a w jego miejsce panował Chuszam z ziemi Temanitów.
35 And after the death of Husham, Hadad the sonne of Bedad, which slewe Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his steade, and the name of his citie was Auith.
Chuszam umarł, a w jego miejsce panował Hadad, syn Bedada, który pokonał Midianitów na polu Moab, a nazwa jego miasta – Awit.
36 When Hadad was dead, then Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his steade.
Hadad umarł, a w jego miejsce panował Samla z Masreki.
37 When Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the riuer, reigned in his steade.
Samla umarł, a w jego miejsce panował Saul z Rechobot nad Rzeką.
38 When Shaul dyed, Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor reigned in his steade.
Saul umarł, a w jego miejsce panował Baalchanan, syn Akbora.
39 And after the death of Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor, Hadad reigned in his stead, and the name of his citie was Pau: and his wiues name Mehetabel the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
Baalchanan, syn Akbora, umarł, a w jego miejsce panował Hadar, a nazwa jego miasta – Pahu, a imię jego żony [to] Mehetabel, [była to] córka Matredy, córki Mezahaba.
40 Then these are the names of the Dukes of Esau according to their families, their places and by their names: Duke Timna, Duke Aluah, Duke Ietheth,
To [są] imiona książąt Ezawa, według ich rodów i miejscowości i według ich imion: książę Timna, książę Alwa, książę Jetet.
41 Duke Aholibamah, Duke Elah, Duke Pinon,
Książę Oholibama, książę Ela, książę Pinon.
42 Duke Kenaz, Duke Teman, Duke Mibzar,
Książę Kenaz, książę Teman, książę Mibsar.
43 Duke Magdiel, Duke Iram: these bee the Dukes of Edom, according to their habitations, in the lande of their inheritance. This Esau is the father of Edom.
Książę Magdiel, książę Iram. To [są] książęta Edomu według miejsca ich zamieszkania w ziemi ich posiadłości. To [jest] Ezaw, ojciec Edomitów.
