Genesis 36
1 Nowe these are the generations of Esau, which is Edom.
૧એસાવ એટલે અદોમની વંશાવળી આ છે.
2 Esau tooke his wiues of the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon an Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon an Hiuite,
૨એસાવે કનાનીઓની દીકરીઓ સાથે લગ્ન કર્યા. આ તેની પત્નીઓ હતી: આદા જે એલોન હિત્તીની દીકરી; ઓહોલીબામાહ જે સિબયોન હિવ્વીની દીકરી અનાની દીકરી હતી,
3 And tooke Basemath Ishmaels daughter, sister of Nebaioth.
૩અને બાસમાથ જે ઇશ્માએલની દીકરી, નબાયોથની બહેન.
4 And Adah bare vnto Esau, Eliphaz: and Basemath bare Reuel.
૪આદાએ એસાવને માટે અલિફાઝને જન્મ આપ્યો અને બાસમાથે રેઉએલને જન્મ આપ્યો.
5 Also Aholibamah bare Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah: these are the sonnes of Esau which were borne to him in the land of Canaan.
૫ઓહોલીબામાહએ યેઉશ, યાલામ તથા કોરાને જન્મ આપ્યાં. એસાવને કનાન દેશમાં જે દીકરા જન્મ્યા હતા તેઓ એ હતા.
6 So Esau tooke his wiues and his sonnes, and his daughters, and all the soules of his house, and his flocks, and all his cattell, and all his substance, which he had gotten in the land of Canaan, and went into an other countrey from his brother Iaakob.
૬એસાવ તેની પત્નીઓ, તેના દીકરા, તેની દીકરીઓ, તેના ઘરના સર્વ લોકો, તેનાં સર્વ જાનવરો, તથા તેની સર્વ માલમિલકત જે તેણે કનાન દેશમાં મેળવી હતી, તે સર્વ લઈને તેના ભાઈ યાકૂબની પાસેથી બીજા દેશમાં ગયો.
7 For their riches were so great, that they could not dwell together, and the lande, wherein they were strangers, coulde not receiue them because of their flockes.
૭તેણે આમ કર્યું કેમ કે તેઓની સંપત્તિ એટલી બધી હતી કે તેઓ એકસાથે રહી શકે તેમ ન હતું. જે દેશમાં તેઓ રહેતા હતા ત્યાં તેઓનાં જાનવરોને લીધે તેઓને કોઈ આશરો ન મળ્યો.
8 Therefore dwelt Esau in mount Seir: this Esau is Edom.
૮તેથી એસાવ એટલે જે અદોમ કહેવાય છે તેણે સેઈર પહાડ પર જઈને વસવાટ કર્યો.
9 So these are the generations of Esau father of Edom in mount Seir.
૯સેઈર પહાડ પરના અદોમી લોકના પૂર્વજ, એસાવની વંશાવળી આ પ્રમાણે છે.
10 These are the names of Esaus sonnes: Eliphaz, the sonne of Adah, the wife of Esau, and Reuel the sonne of Bashemath, the wife of Esau.
૧૦એસાવના દીકરાઓ: એસાવની પત્ની આદાનો દીકરો અલિફાઝ; અને એસાવની પત્ની બાસમાથનો દીકરો રેઉએલ.
11 And the sonnes of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.
૧૧તેમાન, ઓમાર, સફો, ગાતામ તથા કનાઝ એ અલિફાઝના દીકરા હતા.
12 And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esaus sonne, and bare vnto Eliphaz, Amalek: these be the sonnes of Adah Esaus wife.
૧૨એસાવના દીકરા અલિફાઝની ઉપપત્ની તિમ્ના હતી, તેણે અલિફાઝને માટે અમાલેકને જન્મ આપ્યો. એસાવની પત્ની આદાના દીકરા એ છે.
13 And these are the sonnes of Reuel: Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah: these were the sonnes of Bashemath Esaus wife.
૧૩રેઉએલના દીકરા આ છે: નાહાથ, ઝેરાહ, શામ્મા તથા મિઝઝા. આ એસાવની પત્ની બાસમાથના દીકરા હતા.
14 And these were the sonnes of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon Esaus wife: for she bare vnto Esau, Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah.
૧૪સિબયોનની દીકરી અનાની દીકરી ઓહોલીબામાહ જે એસાવની પત્ની હતી તેના દીકરા આ છે: તેણે યેઉશ, યાલામ તથા કોરાને જન્મ આપ્યો.
15 These were Dukes of the sonnes of Esau: the sonnes of Eliphaz, the first borne of Esau: Duke Teman, Duke Omar, Duke Zepho, Duke Kenaz,
૧૫એસાવના વંશજોનાં સરદારો આ હતાં: એસાવના જ્યેષ્ઠ દીકરા અલિફાઝના દીકરા: તેમાન, ઓમાર, સફો, કનાઝ,
16 Duke Korah, Duke Gatam, Duke Amalek: these are the Dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom: these were the sonnes of Adah.
૧૬કોરા, ગાતામ તથા અમાલેક હતા. જે સરદારો અલિફાઝથી અદોમ દેશમાં થયા તેઓ એ છે. તેઓ આદાના પૌત્રો હતા.
17 And these are the sonnes of Reuel Esaus sonne: Duke Nahath, Duke Zerah, Duke Shammah, Duke Mizzah: these are the Dukes that came of Reuel in the land of Edom: these are the sonnes of Bashemath Esaus wife.
૧૭એસાવના દીકરા રેઉએલના કુટુંબો આ છે: નાહાથ, ઝેરાહ, શામ્મા, મિઝઝા. એ વંશજો રેઉએલથી અદોમ દેશમાં થયા. એ એસાવની પત્ની બાસમાથના દીકરા હતા.
18 Likewise these were the sonnes of Aholibamah Esaus wife: Duke Ieush, Duke Iaalam, Duke Korah: these Dukes came of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah Esaus wife.
૧૮એસાવની પત્ની ઓહોલીબામાહના દીકરા આ છે: યેઉશ, યાલામ, કોરા. એ સરદારોને એસાવની પત્ની ઓહોલીબામાહ જે અનાની દીકરી હતી તેણે જન્મ આપ્યાં હતા.
19 These are the children of Esau, and these are the Dukes of them: This Esau is Edom.
૧૯એસાવના દીકરા અને તેઓના સરદારો આ છે.
20 These are the sonnes of Seir the Horite, which inhabited the lande before, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah.
૨૦સેઈર હોરીના દીકરા જે દેશના રહેવાસીઓ હતા તેઓ આ છે: લોટાન, શોબાલ, સિબયોન, અના,
21 And Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan: these are the Dukes of the Horites, the sonnes of Seir in the land of Edom.
૨૧દિશોન, એસેર તથા દિશાન. તે સેઈર હોરીઓના કુટુંબનાં સરદારો જે અદોમ દેશમાં થયા એ હતા.
22 And the sonnes of Lotan were, Hori and Hemam, and Lotans sister was Timna.
૨૨લોટાનના દીકરા હોરી તથા હોમામ હતા. તિમ્ના લોટાનની બહેન હતી.
23 And the sonnes of Shobal were these: Aluan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
૨૩શોબાલના દીકરા આ છે, એટલે આલ્વાન, માનાહાથ, એબાલ, શફો તથા ઓનામ.
24 And these are the sonnes of Zibeon: Both Aiah, and Anah: this was Anah that founde mules in the wildernesse, as he fedde his father Zibeons asses.
૨૪સિબયોનના દીકરા આ છે, એટલે એયાહ તથા અના, જેને તેના પિતા સિબોનનાં ગધેડાં ચરાવતાં અરણ્યમાં ગરમ પાણીનાં ઝરા મળ્યા હતા તે એ છે.
25 And the children of Anah were these: Dishon and Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah.
૨૫અનાનાં સંતાનો આ છે: દિશોન તથા અનાની દીકરી ઓહોલીબામાહ.
26 Also these are the sonnes of Dishan: Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
૨૬દિશોનના દીકરા આ છે; હેમ્દાન, એશ્બાન, યિથ્રાન તથા ખરાન.
27 The sonnes of Ezer are these: Bilhan, and Zaauan, and Akan.
૨૭એસેરના દીકરા આ છે; બિલ્હાન, ઝાવાન, તથા અકાન.
28 The sonnes of Dishan are these: Vz, and Aran.
૨૮દિશાનના દીકરા આ છે; ઉસ તથા આરાન.
29 These are the Dukes of the Horites: Duke Lotan, Duke Shobal, Duke Zibeon, Duke Anah,
૨૯હોરીઓના સરદારો આ છે; લોટાન, શોબાલ, સિબયોન તથા અના.
30 Duke Dishon, Duke Ezer, Duke Dishan: these bee the Dukes of the Horites, after their Dukedomes in the land of Seir.
૩૦દિશોન, એસેર, દિશાન; સેઈર દેશમાં સરદારોની યાદી પ્રમાણે હોરીઓનું કુટુંબ એ છે.
31 And these are the Kings that reigned in the lande of Edom, before there reigned any King ouer the children of Israel.
૩૧ઇઝરાયલીઓ પર કોઈ રાજાએ રાજ્ય કર્યા પહેલા અદોમ દેશમાં જે રાજાઓ રાજ્ય કરતા હતા તે આ છે:
32 Then Bela the sonne of Beor reigned in Edom, and the name of his citie was Dinhabah.
૩૨બેઓરનો દીકરો બેલા અદોમમાં રાજ્ય કરતો હતો અને તેના શહેરનું નામ દિનહાબા હતું.
33 And when Bela dyed, Iobab the sonne of Zerah of Bozra reigned in his steade.
૩૩જયારે બેલા મૃત્યુ પામ્યો, ત્યારે તેની જગ્યાએ બોસરામાંના ઝેરાહનો દીકરો યોબાબ રાજા થયો.
34 When Iobab also was dead, Husham of the land of Temani reigned in his steade.
૩૪જયારે યોબાબ મૃત્યુ પામ્યો ત્યારે તેની જગ્યાએ તેમાન દેશના હુશામે રાજ કર્યું.
35 And after the death of Husham, Hadad the sonne of Bedad, which slewe Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his steade, and the name of his citie was Auith.
૩૫જયારે હુશામ મૃત્યુ પામ્યો ત્યારે તેની જગ્યાએ બદાદના દીકરા હદાદે રાજ કર્યું. તેણે મોઆબના પ્રદેશમાં મિદ્યાનીઓને હરાવ્યા હતા. તેના શહેરનું નામ અવીથ હતું.
36 When Hadad was dead, then Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his steade.
૩૬જ્યારે હદાદ મૃત્યુ પામ્યો ત્યારે તેની જગ્યાએ માસરેકામાંના સામ્લાએ રાજ કર્યું.
37 When Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the riuer, reigned in his steade.
૩૭જયારે સામ્લા મૃત્યુ પામ્યો ત્યારે તેની જગ્યાએ નદી પાસેના રહોબોથના શાઉલે રાજ કર્યું.
38 When Shaul dyed, Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor reigned in his steade.
૩૮જયારે શાઉલ મૃત્યુ પામ્યો ત્યારે તેની જગ્યાએ આખ્બોરના દીકરા બાલ-હનાને રાજ કર્યું.
39 And after the death of Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor, Hadad reigned in his stead, and the name of his citie was Pau: and his wiues name Mehetabel the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
૩૯જયારે આખ્બોરનો દીકરો બાલ-હનાન મૃત્યુ પામ્યો ત્યારે તેની જગ્યાએ હદારે રાજ કર્યું. તેના શહેરનું નામ પાઉ હતું. તેની પત્નીનું નામ મહેટાબેલ હતું, તે માટ્રેદની દીકરી, મેઝાહાબની પૌત્રી હતી.
40 Then these are the names of the Dukes of Esau according to their families, their places and by their names: Duke Timna, Duke Aluah, Duke Ietheth,
૪૦એસાવના વંશજોના, તેમના કુટુંબનાં આગેવાનોના નામ તેમના પ્રદેશ પ્રમાણે આ છે: તિમ્ના, આલ્વાહ, યથેથ,
41 Duke Aholibamah, Duke Elah, Duke Pinon,
૪૧ઓહોલીબામાહ, એલા, પીનોન,
42 Duke Kenaz, Duke Teman, Duke Mibzar,
૪૨કનાઝ, તેમાન, મિબ્સાર,
43 Duke Magdiel, Duke Iram: these bee the Dukes of Edom, according to their habitations, in the lande of their inheritance. This Esau is the father of Edom.
૪૩માગ્દીએલ તથા ઇરામ; તેઓએ કબજે કરેલ દેશમાં તેમના વતન પ્રમાણે અદોમના કુટુંબોના વડા એ છે. અદોમીઓનો પિતા એસાવ છે.
