Genesis 35

1 Then God sayde to Iaakob, Arise, goe vp to Beth-el and dwell there, and make there an altar vnto God, that appeared vnto thee, when thou fleddest from Esau thy brother.

౧దేవుడు యాకోబుతో “నువ్వు లేచి బేతేలుకు వెళ్ళి అక్కడ నివసించు. నీ సోదరుడైన ఏశావు నుండి నువ్వు పారిపోయినప్పుడు నీకు కనబడిన దేవునికి అక్కడ ఒక బలిపీఠం కట్టు” అని చెప్పాడు.

2 Then saide Iaakob vnto his houshold and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and clense your selues, and change your garments:

౨యాకోబు తన ఇంటివారితో, తన దగ్గర ఉన్న వారందరితో “మీ దగ్గర ఉన్న అన్యదేవుళ్ళను పారవేసి, మిమ్మల్ని మీరు పవిత్ర పరచుకుని, మీ వస్త్రాలు మార్చుకోండి.

3 For we will rise and goe vp to Beth-el, and I will make an altar there vnto God, which heard me in the day of my tribulation, and was with me in the way which I went.

౩మనం బేతేలుకు బయలుదేరి వెళ్దాం. నా కష్ట సమయంలో నాకు సహాయం చేసి, నేను వెళ్ళిన అన్ని చోట్లా నాకు తోడై ఉన్న దేవునికి అక్కడ ఒక బలిపీఠం కడతాను” అని చెప్పాడు.

4 And they gaue vnto Iaakob all the strange gods, which were in their hands, and all their earings which were in their eares, and Iaakob hidde them vnder an oke, which was by Shechem.

౪వారు తమ దగ్గర ఉన్న అన్యదేవుళ్ళన్నిటినీ తమ చెవి పోగులనూ యాకోబుకు అప్పగించారు. యాకోబు వాటిని షెకెము దగ్గర ఉన్న సింధూర వృక్షం కింద పాతిపెట్టాడు.

5 Then they went on their iourney, and the feare of God was vpon the cities that were roud about them: so that they did not follow after the sonnes of Iaakob.

౫వారు ప్రయాణమై వెళ్తూ ఉన్నప్పుడు, వారి చుట్టూ ఉన్న పట్టణాల వారికి దేవుడు భయం పుట్టించాడు కాబట్టి వారు యాకోబు కుటుంబాన్ని తరమ లేదు.

6 So came Iaakob to Luz, which is in the land of Canaan: (the same is Beth-el) hee and all the people that was with him.

౬యాకోబు, అతడితో ఉన్నవారంతా కనానులో లూజుకు, అంటే బేతేలుకు వచ్చారు.

7 And he built there an altar, and had called the place, The God of Beth-el, because that God appeared vnto him there, when he fled from his brother.

౭అతడు తన అన్న దగ్గర నుండి పారిపోయినప్పుడు దేవుడక్కడ అతడికి ప్రత్యక్షమయ్యాడు కాబట్టి వారు అక్కడ ఒక బలిపీఠం కట్టి ఆ ప్రదేశానికి ఏల్‌ బేతేలు అని పేరు పెట్టారు.

8 Then Deborah Rebekahs nourse dyed, and was buried beneath Beth-el vnder an oke: and he called the name of it Allon Bachuth.

౮రిబ్కా దాది దెబోరా చనిపోయినప్పుడు ఆమెను బేతేలుకు దిగువన ఉన్న సింధూర వృక్షం కింద పాతిపెట్టి, దానికి అల్లోన్ బాకూత్‌ అనే పేరు పెట్టారు.

9 Againe God appeared vnto Iaakob, after he came out of Padan Aram, and blessed him.

౯యాకోబు పద్దనరాము నుండి వస్తూ ఉండగా దేవుడు అతడికి మళ్ళీ ప్రత్యక్షమై అతణ్ణి ఆశీర్వదించాడు.

10 Moreouer God said vnto him, Thy name is Iaakob: thy name shalbe no more called Iaakob, but Israel shalbe thy name: and hee called his name Israel.

౧౦అప్పుడు దేవుడు అతనితో “నీ పేరు యాకోబు. కానీ ఇప్పటినుండి అది యాకోబు కాదు, నీ పేరు ఇశ్రాయేలు” అని చెప్పి అతనికి ఇశ్రాయేలు అని పేరు పెట్టాడు.

11 Againe God said vnto him, I am God all sufficient. growe, and multiplie. a nation and a multitude of nations shall spring of thee, and Kings shall come out of thy loynes.

౧౧దేవుడు “నేను సర్వశక్తిగల దేవుణ్ణి. నువ్వు ఫలించి అభివృద్ధి పొందు. ఒక జనాంగం, జాతుల గుంపు నీనుండి కలుగుతాయి. రాజులు నీ సంతానంలో నుండి వస్తారు.

12 Also I will giue the lande, which I gaue to Abraham and Izhak, vnto thee: and vnto thy seede after thee will I giue that land.

౧౨నేను అబ్రాహాముకు, ఇస్సాకుకు ఇచ్చిన దేశాన్ని నీకిస్తాను. నీ తరువాత నీ సంతానానికి కూడా ఈ దేశాన్ని ఇస్తాను” అని అతనితో చెప్పాడు.

13 So God ascended from him in the place where he had talked with him.

౧౩దేవుడు అతనితో మాట్లాడిన ఆ స్థలం నుండి పరలోకానికి వెళ్ళాడు.

14 And Iaakob set vp a pillar in the place where he talked with him, a pillar of stone, and powred drinke offring thereon: also hee powred oyle thereon.

౧౪దేవుడు తనతో మాట్లాడిన చోట యాకోబు ఒక స్తంభం, అంటే ఒక రాతి స్తంభం నిలబెట్టి దాని మీద పానార్పణం చేసి దాని మీద నూనె పోశాడు.

15 And Iaakob called the name of the place, where God spake with him, Beth-el.

౧౫తనతో దేవుడు మాట్లాడిన చోటికి యాకోబు బేతేలు అని పేరు పెట్టాడు.

16 Then they departed from Beth-el, and when there was about halfe a daies iourney of ground to come to Ephrath, Rahel trauailed, and in trauailing she was in perill.

౧౬వారు బేతేలు నుండి ప్రయాణమై వెళ్ళారు. దారిలో ఎఫ్రాతాకు ఇంకా కొంత దూరం ఉన్నప్పుడు రాహేలుకు కానుపు నొప్పులు మొదలయ్యాయి.

17 And whe she was in paines of her labour, the midwife saide vnto her, Feare not: for thou shalt haue this sonne also.

౧౭ఆమె ప్రసవం వలన తీవ్రంగా ప్రయాసపడుతూ ఉండగా మంత్రసాని ఆమెతో “భయపడ వద్దు, ఈ సారి కూడా నీకు కొడుకే పుడతాడు” అంది.

18 Then as she was about to yeelde vp the Ghost (for she died) she called his name Ben-oni, but his father called him Beniamin.

౧౮రాహేలు కొడుకును ప్రసవించి చనిపోయింది. ప్రాణం పోతూ ఉన్న సమయంలో ఆమె “వీడి పేరు బెనోని” అంది. కాని అతని తండ్రి అతనికి బెన్యామీను అని పేరు పెట్టాడు.

19 Thus died Rahel, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Beth-lehem.

౧౯ఆ విధంగా రాహేలు చనిపోయినప్పుడు ఆమెను బేత్లెహేము అని పిలిచే ఎఫ్రాతా మార్గంలో సమాధి చేశారు.

20 And Iaakob set a pillar vpon her graue: This is the pillar of Rahels graue vnto this day.

౨౦యాకోబు ఆమె సమాధి మీద ఒక స్తంభాన్ని నిలిపాడు. అది ఈ రోజు వరకూ రాహేలు సమాధి స్తంభంగా నిలిచి ఉంది.

21 Then Israel went forwarde, and pitched his tent beyond Migdal-eder.

౨౧ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రయాణం కొనసాగించి మిగ్దల్‌ ఏదెరుకు అవతల తన గుడారం వేసుకున్నాడు.

22 Now, when Israel dwelt in that land, Reuben went, and lay with Bilhah his fathers concubine, and it came to Israels eare. And Iaakob had twelue sonnes.

౨౨ఇశ్రాయేలు ఆ దేశంలో నివసిస్తున్నప్పుడు రూబేను తన తండ్రి ఉపపత్ని అయిన బిల్హాతో లైంగిక సంబంధం పెట్టుకున్నాడు. ఆ సంగతి ఇశ్రాయేలుకు తెలిసింది.

23 The sonnes of Leah: Reuben Iaakobs eldest sonne, and Simeon, and Leui, and Iudah, and Issachar, and Zebulun.

౨౩యాకోబు కొడుకులు పన్నెండు మంది. యాకోబు జ్యేష్ఠకుమారుడు రూబేను, షిమ్యోను, లేవి, యూదా, ఇశ్శాఖారు, జెబూలూను. వీరు లేయా కొడుకులు.

24 The sonnes of Rahel: Ioseph and Beniamin.

౨౪యోసేపు, బెన్యామీను. వీరు రాహేలు కొడుకులు.

25 And the sonnes of Bilhah Rahels maide: Dan and Naphtali.

౨౫రాహేలు దాసి అయిన బిల్హా కొడుకులు దాను, నఫ్తాలి.

26 And the sonnes of Zilpah Leahs maide: Gad and Asher. These are the sonnes of Iaakob, which were borne him in Padan Aram.

౨౬లేయా దాసి అయిన జిల్పా కొడుకులు గాదు, ఆషేరు. వీరంతా పద్దనరాములో యాకోబుకు పుట్టిన కొడుకులు.

27 Then Iaakob came vnto Izhak his father to Mamre a citie of Arbah: this is Hebron, where Abraham and Izhak were strangers.

౨౭అబ్రాహాము, ఇస్సాకులు నివసించిన మమ్రేలోని కిర్యతర్బాలో తన తండ్రి ఇస్సాకు దగ్గరికి యాకోబు వచ్చాడు. అదే హెబ్రోను.

28 And the daies of Izhak were an hundreth and fourescore yeeres.

౨౮ఇస్సాకు నూట ఎనభై సంవత్సరాలు బతికాడు.

29 And Izhak gaue vp the ghost and died, and was gathered vnto his people, being olde and full of daies: and his sonnes Esau and Iaakob buried him.

౨౯ఇస్సాకు కాలం నిండిన వృద్ధుడై చనిపోయి తన పూర్వికుల దగ్గరికి చేరిపోయాడు. అతని కొడుకులు ఏశావు, యాకోబు అతణ్ణి సమాధి చేశారు.
