Genesis 35
1 Then God sayde to Iaakob, Arise, goe vp to Beth-el and dwell there, and make there an altar vnto God, that appeared vnto thee, when thou fleddest from Esau thy brother.
Бог сказал Иакову: встань, пойди в Вефиль и живи там, и устрой там жертвенник Богу, явившемуся тебе, когда ты бежал от лица Исава, брата твоего.
2 Then saide Iaakob vnto his houshold and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and clense your selues, and change your garments:
И сказал Иаков дому своему и всем бывшим с ним: бросьте богов чужих, находящихся у вас, и очиститесь, и перемените одежды ваши;
3 For we will rise and goe vp to Beth-el, and I will make an altar there vnto God, which heard me in the day of my tribulation, and was with me in the way which I went.
встанем и пойдем в Вефиль; там устрою я жертвенник Богу, Который услышал меня в день бедствия моего и был со мною и хранил меня в пути, которым я ходил.
4 And they gaue vnto Iaakob all the strange gods, which were in their hands, and all their earings which were in their eares, and Iaakob hidde them vnder an oke, which was by Shechem.
И отдали Иакову всех богов чужих, бывших в руках их, и серьги, бывшие в ушах у них, и закопал их Иаков под дубом, который близ Сихема.
5 Then they went on their iourney, and the feare of God was vpon the cities that were roud about them: so that they did not follow after the sonnes of Iaakob.
И отправились они от Сихема. И был ужас Божий на окрестных городах, и не преследовали сынов Иаковлевых.
6 So came Iaakob to Luz, which is in the land of Canaan: (the same is Beth-el) hee and all the people that was with him.
И пришел Иаков в Луз, что в земле Ханаанской, то есть в Вефиль, сам и все люди, бывшие с ним,
7 And he built there an altar, and had called the place, The God of Beth-el, because that God appeared vnto him there, when he fled from his brother.
и устроил там жертвенник, и назвал сие место: Эл-Вефиль, ибо тут явился ему Бог, когда он бежал от лица Исава брата своего.
8 Then Deborah Rebekahs nourse dyed, and was buried beneath Beth-el vnder an oke: and he called the name of it Allon Bachuth.
И умерла Девора, кормилица Ревеккина, и погребена ниже Вефиля под дубом, который и назвал Иаков дубом плача.
9 Againe God appeared vnto Iaakob, after he came out of Padan Aram, and blessed him.
И явился Бог Иакову в Лузе по возвращении его из Месопотамии, и благословил его,
10 Moreouer God said vnto him, Thy name is Iaakob: thy name shalbe no more called Iaakob, but Israel shalbe thy name: and hee called his name Israel.
и сказал ему Бог: имя твое Иаков; отныне ты не будешь называться Иаковом, но будет имя тебе: Израиль. И нарек ему имя: Израиль.
11 Againe God said vnto him, I am God all sufficient. growe, and multiplie. a nation and a multitude of nations shall spring of thee, and Kings shall come out of thy loynes.
И сказал ему Бог: Я Бог Всемогущий; плодись и умножайся; народ и множество народов будет от тебя, и цари произойдут из чресл твоих;
12 Also I will giue the lande, which I gaue to Abraham and Izhak, vnto thee: and vnto thy seede after thee will I giue that land.
землю, которую Я дал Аврааму и Исааку, Я дам тебе, и потомству твоему по тебе дам землю сию.
13 So God ascended from him in the place where he had talked with him.
И восшел от него Бог с места, на котором говорил ему.
14 And Iaakob set vp a pillar in the place where he talked with him, a pillar of stone, and powred drinke offring thereon: also hee powred oyle thereon.
И поставил Иаков памятник на месте, на котором говорил ему Бог, памятник каменный, и возлил на него возлияние, и возлил на него елей;
15 And Iaakob called the name of the place, where God spake with him, Beth-el.
и нарек Иаков имя месту, на котором Бог говорил ему: Вефиль.
16 Then they departed from Beth-el, and when there was about halfe a daies iourney of ground to come to Ephrath, Rahel trauailed, and in trauailing she was in perill.
И отправились из Вефиля. И раскинул он шатер свой за башнею Гадер. И когда еще оставалось некоторое расстояние земли до Ефрафы, Рахиль родила, и роды ее были трудны.
17 And whe she was in paines of her labour, the midwife saide vnto her, Feare not: for thou shalt haue this sonne also.
Когда же она страдала в родах, повивальная бабка сказала ей: не бойся, ибо и это тебе сын.
18 Then as she was about to yeelde vp the Ghost (for she died) she called his name Ben-oni, but his father called him Beniamin.
И когда выходила из нее душа, ибо она умирала, то нарекла ему имя: Бенони. Но отец его назвал его Вениамином.
19 Thus died Rahel, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Beth-lehem.
И умерла Рахиль, и погребена на дороге в Ефрафу, то есть Вифлеем.
20 And Iaakob set a pillar vpon her graue: This is the pillar of Rahels graue vnto this day.
Иаков поставил над гробом ее памятник. Это надгробный памятник Рахили до сего дня.
21 Then Israel went forwarde, and pitched his tent beyond Migdal-eder.
И отправился оттуда Израиль и раскинул шатер свой за башнею Гадер.
22 Now, when Israel dwelt in that land, Reuben went, and lay with Bilhah his fathers concubine, and it came to Israels eare. And Iaakob had twelue sonnes.
Во время пребывания Израиля в той стране, Рувим пошел и переспал с Валлою, наложницею отца своего. И услышал Израиль. Сынов же у Иакова было двенадцать.
23 The sonnes of Leah: Reuben Iaakobs eldest sonne, and Simeon, and Leui, and Iudah, and Issachar, and Zebulun.
Сыновья Лии: первенец Иакова Рувим, по нем Симеон, Левий, Иуда, Иссахар и Завулон.
24 The sonnes of Rahel: Ioseph and Beniamin.
Сыновья Рахили: Иосиф и Вениамин.
25 And the sonnes of Bilhah Rahels maide: Dan and Naphtali.
Сыновья Валлы, служанки Рахилиной: Дан и Неффалим.
26 And the sonnes of Zilpah Leahs maide: Gad and Asher. These are the sonnes of Iaakob, which were borne him in Padan Aram.
Сыновья Зелфы, служанки Лииной: Гад и Асир. Сии сыновья Иакова, родившиеся ему в Месопотамии.
27 Then Iaakob came vnto Izhak his father to Mamre a citie of Arbah: this is Hebron, where Abraham and Izhak were strangers.
И пришел Иаков к Исааку, отцу своему, ибо он был еще жив, в Мамре, в Кириаф-Арбу, то есть Хеврон в земле Ханаанской, где странствовал Авраам и Исаак.
28 And the daies of Izhak were an hundreth and fourescore yeeres.
И было дней жизни Исааковой сто восемьдесят лет.
29 And Izhak gaue vp the ghost and died, and was gathered vnto his people, being olde and full of daies: and his sonnes Esau and Iaakob buried him.
И испустил Исаак дух и умер, и приложился к народу своему, будучи стар и насыщен жизнью; и погребли его Исав и Иаков, сыновья его.
