Genesis 20
1 Afterward Abraham departed thence toward the South countrey and dwelled betweene Cadesh and Shur, and soiourned in Gerar.
Afei, Abraham tu fii hɔ kɔɔ anafo mantam asase bi a wɔfrɛ no Negeb kɔtenaa nkurow Kades ne Sur ntam. Ɔtenaa Gerar kakra.
2 And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister. Then Abimelech King of Gerar sent and tooke Sarah.
Abraham maa nnipa no tee ase sɛ, Sara yɛ ne nuabea. Enti, Gerarhene Abimelek soma kɔfaa Sara baa nʼahemfi.
3 But God came to Abimelech in a dreame by night, and said to him, Beholde, thou art but dead, because of the woman, which thou hast taken: for she is a mans wife.
Nanso Onyankopɔn soo Abimelek dae, ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Wosɛ owu, efisɛ ɔbea a woakɔfa no no yɛ obi yere.”
4 (Notwithstanding Abimelech had not yet come neere her) And he said, Lord, wilt thou slay euen the righteous nation?
Nanso na Abimelek nnya ne Sara nnae, enti ɔkae se, “Awurade, enti wobɛsɛe onipa a ɔnyɛɛ bɔne bi?
5 Said not he vnto me, She is my sister? yea, and she her selfe said, He is my brother: with an vpright minde, and innocent handes haue I done this.
Abraham ka kyerɛɛ me se, ‘Ɔyɛ me nuabea.’ Na Sara no nso kae se, ‘Ɔyɛ me nuabarima.’ Enti mede adwene mu fann ne koma mu tew na ɛyɛɛ nea meyɛe no.”
6 And God saide vnto him by a dreame, I knowe that thou diddest this euen with an vpright minde, and I kept thee also that thou shouldest not sinne against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touche her.
Na Onyankopɔn soo Abimelek dae bio ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Ɛyɛ nokware turodoo sɛ, wode adwene mu fann ne koma mu tew na ɛyɛɛ nea woyɛe no; ɛno nti, mamma woanyɛ bɔne antia me. Ɛno nti na mamma woamfa wo ho anka no no.
7 Now then deliuer the man his wife againe: for he is a Prophet, and he shall pray for thee that thou mayest liue: but if thou deliuer her not againe, be sure that thou shalt die the death, thou, and all that thou hast.
Ne saa nti san fa ɔbarima no yere no kɔma no, efisɛ saa ɔbarima no yɛ odiyifo a obetumi abɔ mpae ama wo ama woatena. Na sɛ woansan amfa no ankɔma no a, hu sɛ, wo ne wʼasefo nyinaa bewuwu.”
8 Then Abimelech rising vp early in ye morning, called all his seruants, and tolde all these things vnto them, and the men were sore afraid.
Ade kyee anɔpatutuutu no, Abimelek frɛɛ ne mpanyimfo nyinaa bɔɔ wɔn nsɛm a asisi no ho amanneɛ. Na wosuroo yiye.
9 Afterward Abimelech called Abraham, and said vnto him, What hast thou done vnto vs? and what haue I offeded thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdome this great sinne? thou hast done things vnto me that ought not to be done.
Afei, Abimelek frɛɛ Abraham ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Dɛn na woayɛ yɛn yi? Bɔne bɛn na mayɛ wo a woakɔfa afɔbusɛm kɛse a ɛte sɛɛ yi abɛto me ne me man so yi? Ade a wode ayɛ me yi nyɛ ade a anka ɛsɛ sɛ wode yɛ me.”
10 So Abimelech said vnto Abraham, What sawest thou that thou hast done this thing?
Afei, Abimelek bisaa Abraham se, “Dɛn adwene na ɛkaa wo a ɛma woyɛɛ saa?”
11 Then Abraham answered, Because I thought thus, Surely the feare of God is not in this place, and they will slay me for my wiues sake.
Abraham buae se, “Misusuwii sɛ nokware, Onyankopɔn biara nni mo mu, na me yere nti, mubekum me.
12 Yet in very deede she is my sister: for she is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother, and she is my wife.
Eyi akyi no, ampa ara, ɔyɛ me nuabea. Yefi agya koro na yemfi ɛna koro. Ɛno nti na mewaree no no.
13 Nowe when God caused me to wander out of my fathers house, I said then to her, This is thy kindnes that thou shalt shewe vnto me in all places where we come, Say thou of me, He is my brother.
Na bere a Onyankopɔn ka kyerɛɛ me Abraham se mintu mfi mʼagya fi nkɔ asase a ɔbɛkyerɛ me so no. Me nso, meka kyerɛɛ Sara se, ‘Adɔe a ɛsɛ sɛ woyɛ me ni: baabiara a yebedu no, ka se meyɛ wo nuabarima.’”
14 Then tooke Abimelech sheepe and beeues, and men seruants, and women seruants, and gaue them vnto Abraham, and restored him Sarah his wife.

15 And Abimelech saide, Beholde, my land is before thee: dwell where it pleaseth thee.
Abimelek kae se, “Mʼasasetam na ɛda wʼanim yi, ɛso baabiara a wopɛ sɛ wotena no, fa.”
16 Likewise to Sarah he said, Beholde, I haue giuen thy brother a thousand pieces of siluer: behold, he is the vaile of thine eyes to all that are with thee, and to all others: and she was thus reproued.
Abimelek ka kyerɛɛ Sara nso se, “Mede dwetɛ kilogram dubaako ne fa rema wo nuabarima no. Eyi ne mpata a mede rema wo wɔ bɔne a wɔde too wo so no, wɔ wɔn a wɔka wo ho no nyinaa anim. Asodi biara nna wo so.”
17 Then Abraham prayed vnto God, and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his women seruants: and they bare children.
Enti Abraham bɔɔ mpae, srɛɛ Onyankopɔn sɛ ɔnsa ɔhene Abimelek, ɔhemmea ne mfenaa a wɔwɔ fie hɔ no yare mma wɔnwo mma.
18 For the Lord had shut vp euery wombe of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah Abrahams wife.
