Genesis 17
1 When Abram was ninetie yeere olde and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said vnto him, I am God all sufficient. walke before me, and be thou vpright,
Kane Abram ne ja-higni piero ochiko gochiko, Jehova Nyasaye nofwenyorene mi nowachone niya, “An Nyasaye Maratego; bed ngʼama odimbore e nyima kendo maonge ketho.
2 And I will make my couenant betweene me and thee, and I will multiplie thee exceedingly.

3 Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying,
Abram nopodho auma e nyim Nyasaye kendo Nyasaye nowachone niya,
4 Beholde, I make my couenant with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations,
“Singruok matimo kodi ema: Inibed wuon ogendini mangʼeny.
5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shalbe Abraham: for a father of many nations haue I made thee.
Ok nochak oluongi ni Abram; to enoluongi ni Ibrahim, nimar aseketi ibedo wuon ogendini mangʼeny.
6 Also I will make thee exceeding fruitfull, and will make nations of thee: yea, Kings shall proceede of thee.
Anamiyi nyikwayo mathoth; ginidog ogendini madongo kendo ruodhi nowuog kuomgi.
7 Moreouer I wil establish my couenant betweene me and thee, and thy seede after thee in their generations, for an euerlasting couenant, to be God vnto thee and to thy seede after thee.
Anagur singruokna manyaka chiengʼ e kinda kodi gi nyikwayi kod tienge mabiro, mi anabed Nyasachi kendo Nyasach nyikwayi nyaka chiengʼ.
8 And I will giue thee and thy seede after thee the land, wherein thou art a stranger, euen all the land of Canaan, for an euerlasting possession, and I will be their God.
Piny Kanaan duto makoro udakieni anamiyi kaachiel gi nyikwayi mondo obed girkeni manyaka chiengʼ kendo anabed Nyasachgi.”
9 Againe God said vnto Abraham, Thou also shalt keepe my couenant, thou, and thy seede after thee in their generations.
Eka Nyasaye nowacho ne Ibrahim niya, “In kaachiel gi nyikwayi kod tienge mabiro nyaka rit singruokna.
10 This is my couenant which ye shall keepe betweene me and you, and thy seede after thee, Let euery man childe among you be circumcised:
Singruokna manyaka iriti, in kaachiel gi nyikwayi ema: Ngʼato ka ngʼata madichwo e kindu nyaka ter nyangu.
11 That is, ye shall circumcise the foreskin of your flesh, and it shalbe a signe of the couenant betweene me and you.
Nyaka teru nyangu kendo ma nobed ranyisi mar singruokna e kinda kodu.
12 And euery man childe of eight dayes olde among you, shalbe circumcised in your generations, aswell he that is borne in thine house, as he that is bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seede.
Kuom tienge mabiro ngʼato angʼata madichwo monywol e uteu kata ongʼiew gi pesa ma ok kothu nyaka ter nyangu, e odiechiengʼ mar aboro bangʼ nywolne.
13 He that is borne in thine house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needes be circumcised: so my couenant shall be in your flesh for an euerlasting couenant.
Nyaka tergi nyangu bedni onywolgi e uteu kata ongʼiewogi gi pesa. Singruokna man kuom ringreu nyaka bed mosiko.
14 But the vncircumcised man childe, in whose flesh the foreskin is not circumcised, euen that person shall be cut off from his people, because he hath broken my couenant.
Ngʼato angʼata madichwo, mane ok oter nyangu e ringruok, nogol oko kuom jogi; nikech oseketho singruokna.”
15 Afterward God said vnto Abraham, Sarai thy wife shalt thou not call Sarai, but Sarah shalbe her name.
Nyasaye nomedo wachone Ibrahim niya, “Koro ok inichak iluong Sarai chiegi ni Sarai, to iniluonge ni Sara.
16 And I will blesse her, and will also giue thee a sonne of her, yea, I will blesse her, and she shall be the mother of nations: Kings also of people shall come of her.
Anagwedhe kendo anamiyi nyathi ma wuowi koa kuome. Anagwedhe mi nobed min ogendini; kendo ruodhi mag ogendini noa kuome.”
17 Then Abraham fell vpon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a childe be borne vnto him, that is an hundreth yeere olde? and shall Sarah that is ninetie yeere olde beare?
Ibrahim nopodho auma; monyiero kowacho e chunye niya, “Bende ngʼama ja-higni mia achiel nyalo nywolo wuowi? Bende Sara ma ja-higni piero ochiko nyalo nywolo nyathi?”
18 And Abraham saide vnto God, Oh, that Ishmael might liue in thy sight.
Kendo Ibrahim nowacho ne Nyasaye niya, “Mano nyalo mana timore kaponi Ishmael odak e bwo ngʼwono mari!”
19 Then God saide, Sarah thy wife shall beare thee a sonne in deede, and thou shalt call his name Izhak: and I will establish my couenant with him for an euerlasting couenant, and with his seede after him.
Eka Nyasaye nodwoke niya, “Ooyo, en mana Sara chiegi ema nonywolni wuowi, kendo iniluong nyinge ni Isaka. Anaket singruokna kode kaka singruok manyaka chiengʼ ne nyikwaye.
20 And as concerning Ishmael, I haue heard thee: loe, I haue blessed him, and will make him fruitfull, and will multiplie him exceedingly: twelue princes shall he beget, and I will make a great nation of him.
To bende asewinjo kwayo mikwayo nikech Ishmael, omiyo anagwedhe, kendo anamiye nyithindo gi nyikwayo mangʼeny.
21 But my couenant will I establish with Izhak, which Sarah shall beare vnto thee, the next yeere at this season.
Makmana singruokna abiro chopo gi Isaka ma Sara biro nywolone e kinde maka ma e higa mabiro.”
22 And he left off talking with him, and God went vp from Abraham.
Kane Nyasaye osetieko wuoyo kod Ibrahim, noweye modhi.
23 Then Abraham tooke Ishmael his sonne and all that were borne in his house, and all that was bought with his money, that is, euery man childe among the men of Abrahams house, and he circumcised the foreskinne of their flesh in that selfe same day, as God had comaunded him.

24 Abraham also himselfe was ninetie yeere olde and nine, when the foreskinne of his flesh was circumcised.
Ibrahim ne ja-higni piero ochiko gochiko kane otere nyangu,
25 And Ishmael his sonne was thirteene yeere olde, when the foreskinne of his flesh was circumcised.
to wuode Ishmael ne ja-higni apar gadek.
26 The selfe same day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his sonne:
Ibrahim kod wuode Ishmael noter nyangu odiechiengno.
27 And all the men of his house, both borne in his house, and bought with money of the stranger, were circumcised with him.
Kendo chwo duto mane ni e od Ibrahim, kaachiel gi monywol e ode kata ma ongʼiewo, bende noter nyangu kode.
