Genesis 17
1 When Abram was ninetie yeere olde and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said vnto him, I am God all sufficient. walke before me, and be thou vpright,

2 And I will make my couenant betweene me and thee, and I will multiplie thee exceedingly.
Ndipo Ine ndikulonjeza kuti ndidzakupatsa zidzukulu zambiri.”
3 Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying,
Pomwepo Abramu anadziponya pansi ndipo Mulungu anati kwa iye,
4 Beholde, I make my couenant with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations,
“Pangano langa ndi iwe ndi ili: Udzakhala kholo la mitundu yambiri ya anthu.
5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shalbe Abraham: for a father of many nations haue I made thee.
Sudzatchedwanso Abramu; dzina lako lidzakhala Abrahamu, chifukwa ndakusandutsa kukhala kholo la mitundu yambiri ya anthu.
6 Also I will make thee exceeding fruitfull, and will make nations of thee: yea, Kings shall proceede of thee.
Ndidzakupatsa zidzukulu zambiri motero kuti mitundu yambiri ya anthu idzatuluka mwa iwe. Mafumunso adzatuluka mwa iwe.
7 Moreouer I wil establish my couenant betweene me and thee, and thy seede after thee in their generations, for an euerlasting couenant, to be God vnto thee and to thy seede after thee.
Pangano langa ndi iwe pamodzi ndi zidzukulu za mibado ya mʼtsogolo lidzakhala la muyaya. Ndidzakhala Mulungu wako ndi Mulungu wa zidzukulu zako.
8 And I will giue thee and thy seede after thee the land, wherein thou art a stranger, euen all the land of Canaan, for an euerlasting possession, and I will be their God.
Dziko lonse la Kanaani, limene iwe ukukhala tsopano, ndalipereka kwa iwe ndi kwa zidzukulu zako kuti likhale chuma chanu mpaka muyaya. Ndipo Ine ndidzakhala Mulungu wa zidzukulu zako.”
9 Againe God said vnto Abraham, Thou also shalt keepe my couenant, thou, and thy seede after thee in their generations.
Kenaka Mulungu anati kwa Abrahamu, “Koma iwe pamodzi ndi zidzukulu zako zobwera pambuyo pako mʼmibado ya mʼtsogolomo, sungani pangano langali.
10 This is my couenant which ye shall keepe betweene me and you, and thy seede after thee, Let euery man childe among you be circumcised:
Iwe pamodzi ndi zidzukulu zako zobwera pambuyo pako muzisunga pangano ili loti mwamuna aliyense pakati panupa azichita mdulidwe.
11 That is, ye shall circumcise the foreskin of your flesh, and it shalbe a signe of the couenant betweene me and you.
Kuyambira tsopano muzichita mdulidwe ndipo ichi chidzakhala chizindikiro cha pangano langa ndi iwe.
12 And euery man childe of eight dayes olde among you, shalbe circumcised in your generations, aswell he that is borne in thine house, as he that is bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seede.
Kuyambira tsopano mpaka mibado ya mʼtsogolomo mwana wamwamuna aliyense pakati panu amene wakwana masiku asanu ndi atatu ayenera kuchita mdulidwe. Awa ndi ana obadwa mʼbanja lako, kapena akapolo ochita kugula ndi ndalama, mlendo osakhala wa mʼmbumba yako.
13 He that is borne in thine house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needes be circumcised: so my couenant shall be in your flesh for an euerlasting couenant.
Achite mdulidwe ndithu mwana wamwamuna aliyense, mbadwa ngakhale kapolo wochita kugula ndi ndalama, ndipo ichi chidzakhala chizindikiro pa thupi lanu cha pangano langa lamuyaya.
14 But the vncircumcised man childe, in whose flesh the foreskin is not circumcised, euen that person shall be cut off from his people, because he hath broken my couenant.
Mwamuna aliyense amene adzakhala wosachita mdulidwe adzachotsedwa pakati pa anthu ake chifukwa sanasunge pangano langa.”
15 Afterward God said vnto Abraham, Sarai thy wife shalt thou not call Sarai, but Sarah shalbe her name.
Mulungu anatinso kwa Abrahamu, “Sarai mkazi wako, sudzamutchanso Sarai; dzina lake lidzakhala Sara.
16 And I will blesse her, and will also giue thee a sonne of her, yea, I will blesse her, and she shall be the mother of nations: Kings also of people shall come of her.
Ndidzamudalitsa ndipo adzakubalira mwana wamwamuna. Ndidzamudalitsa kuti akhale mayi wa mitundu ya anthu; mafumu a anthuwo adzachokera mwa iye.”
17 Then Abraham fell vpon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a childe be borne vnto him, that is an hundreth yeere olde? and shall Sarah that is ninetie yeere olde beare?
Abrahamu anadzigwetsa pansi pamaso pa Yehova, Iye anaseka nati, “Kodi munthu wa zaka 100 nʼkubala mwana? Kodi Sara adzabereka mwana pa msinkhu wa zaka makumi asanu ndi anayi?”
18 And Abraham saide vnto God, Oh, that Ishmael might liue in thy sight.
Ndipo Abrahamu anati kwa Mulungu, “Bwanji mumudalitse Ismaeli.”
19 Then God saide, Sarah thy wife shall beare thee a sonne in deede, and thou shalt call his name Izhak: and I will establish my couenant with him for an euerlasting couenant, and with his seede after him.
Koma Mulungu anati, “Ayi, koma mkazi wako Sara adzakubalira mwana wamwamuna, ndipo udzamutcha Isake. Ndidzasunga pangano langa losatha ndi iyeyu komanso ndi zidzukulu zobwera pambuyo pake.
20 And as concerning Ishmael, I haue heard thee: loe, I haue blessed him, and will make him fruitfull, and will multiplie him exceedingly: twelue princes shall he beget, and I will make a great nation of him.
Koma za Ismaeli, ndamva. Ndidzamudalitsadi, ndipo adzakhala ndi zidzukulu zambiri. Iye adzakhala kholo la mafumu khumi ndi awiri ndipo mwa iye mudzatuluka mtundu waukulu wa anthu.
21 But my couenant will I establish with Izhak, which Sarah shall beare vnto thee, the next yeere at this season.
Koma ndidzasunga pangano langali ndi Isake amene Sara adzakubalira pofika nthawi ngati ino chaka chamawa.”
22 And he left off talking with him, and God went vp from Abraham.
Atatha kuyankhula, Mulungu anamuchokera Abrahamu.
23 Then Abraham tooke Ishmael his sonne and all that were borne in his house, and all that was bought with his money, that is, euery man childe among the men of Abrahams house, and he circumcised the foreskinne of their flesh in that selfe same day, as God had comaunded him.
Tsono Abrahamu anachita mdulidwe mwana wake Ismaeli ndi onse amene anali mʼbanja lake, mbadwa ngakhale kapolo ochita kugula ndi ndalama, monga mmene Mulungu analamulira.
24 Abraham also himselfe was ninetie yeere olde and nine, when the foreskinne of his flesh was circumcised.
Abrahamu anali ndi zaka 99 pamene anachita mdulidwe,
25 And Ishmael his sonne was thirteene yeere olde, when the foreskinne of his flesh was circumcised.
ndipo mwana wake Ismaeli anali ndi zaka khumi ndi zitatu;
26 The selfe same day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his sonne:
Onse, Abrahamu ndi mwana wake Ismaeli, anachita mdulidwe tsiku limodzi.
27 And all the men of his house, both borne in his house, and bought with money of the stranger, were circumcised with him.
Aliyense wamwamuna wa pa banja pa Abrahamu, kuphatikizapo iwo amene anabadwira pa banja pomwepo kapena akapolo ogula ndi ndalama kwa alendo, anachita mdulidwe.
