Genesis 11
1 Then the whole earth was of one language and one speache.
౧అప్పుడు భూమిపై అందరూ ఒకే భాష మాట్లాడేవారు.
2 And as they went from the East, they found a plaine in the land of Shinar, and there they abode.
౨వాళ్ళు తూర్పుకు ప్రయాణం చేస్తున్నప్పుడు షీనారు ప్రాంతంలో వాళ్లకు ఒక మైదానం కనబడింది. వాళ్ళు అక్కడ స్థిరపడ్డారు.
3 And they said one to another, Come, let vs make bricke, and burne it in the fire. So they had bricke for stone, and slime had they in steade of morter.
౩వాళ్ళు ఒకరితో ఒకరు “మనం ఇటుకలు తయారు చేసి, చక్కగా కాల్చుదాం రండి” అని మాట్లాడుకున్నారు. రాళ్ళకు బదులు ఇటుకలు, అతకడానికి తారు కీలు వాళ్లకు అందుబాటులో ఉన్నాయి.
4 Also they said, Goe to, let vs builde vs a citie and a towre, whose top may reache vnto the heauen, that we may get vs a name, lest we be scattered vpon the whole earth.
౪వాళ్ళు “మనం భూమి అంతటా చెదిరిపోకుండా ఉండేలా ఒక పట్టణాన్ని, ఆకాశాన్ని అంటే శిఖరం ఉన్న ఒక గోపురం కట్టుకుని పేరు సంపాదించుకుందాం రండి” అని మాట్లాడుకున్నారు.
5 But the Lord came downe, to see the citie and towre, which the sonnes of men builded.
౫యెహోవా ఆదాము సంతానం కట్టిన పట్టణాన్ని, గోపురాన్ని, చూడడానికి దిగి వచ్చాడు.
6 And the Lord said, Beholde, the people is one, and they all haue one language, and this they begin to doe, neither can they now be stopped from whatsoeuer they haue imagined to do.
౬యెహోవా “ఇదిగో, ఒకే భాష ఉన్న ఈ మనుషులు పని చేయడం ప్రారంభించారు! ఇకముందు వాళ్ళు చెయ్యాలనుకున్న ఏ పనైనా వాళ్లకు అసాధ్యం కాదు.
7 Come on, let vs goe downe, and there confound their language, that euery one perceiue not anothers speache.
౭కాబట్టి మనం కిందికి వెళ్లి, వాళ్ళల్లో ఒకరి మాట ఒకరికి తెలియకుండా అక్కడ వాళ్ళ భాషను తారుమారు చేద్దాం రండి” అనుకున్నాడు.
8 So ye Lord scattered them from thence vpon all the earth, and they left off to build the citie.
౮ఆ విధంగా యెహోవా వారు అక్కడ నుంచి భూమి అంతటా చెదిరిపోయేలా చేశాడు. ఆ పట్టణ నిర్మాణం ఆగిపోయింది.
9 Therefore the name of it was called Babel, because the Lord did there confounde the language of all the earth: from thence then did the Lord scatter them vpon all the earth.
౯అందువల్ల దానికి బాబెలు అనే పేరు పెట్టారు. ఎందుకంటే, అక్కడ యెహోవా భూమి మీద ఉన్న ప్రజలందరి భాషను తారుమారు చేశాడు. అక్కడ నుంచి యెహోవా వాళ్ళను భూమి మీద అనేక ప్రదేశాలకు చెదరగొట్టాడు.
10 These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundreth yeere olde, and begate Arpachshad two yeere after the flood.
౧౦షేము వంశావళి ఇది. షేముకు వంద సంవత్సరాల వయస్సులో, జలప్రళయం తరువాత రెండు సంవత్సరాలకు అర్పక్షదు పుట్టాడు.
11 And Shem liued, after he begate Arpachshad, fiue hundreth yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
౧౧షేముకు అర్పక్షదు పుట్టిన తరువాత ఇంకా అతనికి కొడుకులు, కూతుళ్ళు పుట్టారు. అతడు ఐదు వందల సంవత్సరాలు బ్రతికాడు.
12 Also Arpachshad liued fiue and thirtie yeeres, and begate Shelah.
౧౨అర్పక్షదుకు ముప్ఫై ఐదు సంవత్సరాల వయస్సులో షేలహు పుట్టాడు.
13 And Arpachshad liued, after he begate Shelah, foure hundreth and three yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
౧౩అర్పక్షదుకు షేలహు పుట్టిన తరువాత ఇంకా అతనికి కొడుకులు, కూతుళ్ళు పుట్టారు. అతడు నాలుగు వందల మూడు సంవత్సరాలు బతికాడు.
14 And Shelah liued thirtie yeeres, and begat Eber.
౧౪షేలహుకు ముప్ఫై సంవత్సరాల వయస్సులో ఏబెరు పుట్టాడు.
15 So Shelah liued, after he begat Eber, foure hundreth and three yeeres, and begat sonnes and daughters.
౧౫షేలహుకు ఏబెరు పుట్టిన తరువాత ఇంకా అతనికి కొడుకులు, కూతుళ్ళు పుట్టారు. అతడు నాలుగు వందల మూడు సంవత్సరాలు బతికాడు.
16 Likewise Eber liued foure and thirtie yeres, and begate Peleg.
౧౬ఏబెరుకు ముప్ఫై నాలుగు సంవత్సరాల వయస్సులో పెలెగు పుట్టాడు.
17 So Eber liued, after he begate Peleg, foure hundreth and thirtie yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters
౧౭ఏబెరుకు పెలెగు పుట్టిన తరువాత ఇంకా అతనికి కొడుకులు, కూతుళ్ళు పుట్టారు. అతడు నాలుగు వందల ముప్ఫైసంవత్సరాలు బతికాడు.
18 And Peleg liued thirtie yeeres, and begate Reu.
౧౮పెలెగుకు ముప్ఫై సంవత్సరాల వయస్సులో రయూ పుట్టాడు.
19 And Peleg liued, after he begate Reu, two hundreth and nine yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
౧౯పెలెగుకు రయూ పుట్టిన తరువాత ఇంకా అతనికి కొడుకులు, కూతుళ్ళు పుట్టారు. అతడు రెండువందల తొమ్మిది సంవత్సరాలు బతికాడు.
20 Also Reu liued two and thirtie yeeres, and begate Serug.
౨౦రయూకు ముప్ఫై రెండు సంవత్సరాల వయస్సులో సెరూగు పుట్టాడు.
21 So Reu liued, after he begate Serug, two hundreth and seuen yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
౨౧రయూకు సెరూగు పుట్టిన తరువాత ఇంకా అతనికి కొడుకులు, కూతుళ్ళు పుట్టారు. అతడు రెండు వందల ఏడు సంవత్సరాలు బతికాడు.
22 Moreouer Serug liued thirtie yeeres, and begate Nahor.
౨౨సెరూగుకు ముప్ఫై సంవత్సరాల వయస్సులో నాహోరు పుట్టాడు.
23 And Serug liued, after he begate Nahor, two hundreth yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
౨౩సెరూగుకు నాహోరు పుట్టిన తరువాత ఇంకా అతనికి కొడుకులు, కూతుళ్ళు పుట్టారు, అతడు రెండువందల సంవత్సరాలు బతికాడు.
24 And Nahor liued nine and twentie yeeres, and begate Terah.
౨౪నాహోరుకు ఇరవై తొమ్మిది సంవత్సరాల వయస్సులో తెరహు పుట్టాడు.
25 So Nahor liued, after he begate Terah, an hundreth and nineteene yeeres, and begat sonnes and daughters.
౨౫నాహోరుకు తెరహు పుట్టిన తరువాత ఇంకా అతనికి కొడుకులు, కూతుళ్ళు పుట్టారు. అతడు నూట పంతొమ్మిది సంవత్సరాలు బతికాడు.
26 So Terah liued seuentie yeeres, and begate Abram, Nahor, and Haran.
౨౬తెరహుకు డెబ్భై సంవత్సరాల వయస్సులో అబ్రాము, నాహోరు, హారానులు పుట్టారు.
27 Nowe these are the generations of Terah: Terah begate Abram, Nahor, and Haran: and Haran begate Lot.
౨౭తెరహు వంశావళి ఇది: తెరహుకు అబ్రాము, నాహోరు, హారానులు పుట్టారు. హారానుకు లోతు పుట్టాడు.
28 Then Haran died before Terah his father in the land of his natiuitie, in Vr of the Caldees.
౨౮హారాను, తాను పుట్టిన ప్రదేశంలో ఊరు అనే కల్దీయుల పట్టణంలో తన తండ్రి తెరహు కంటే ముందే చనిపోయాడు.
29 So Abram and Nahor tooke them wiues. The name of Abrams wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahors wife Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah.
౨౯అబ్రాము, నాహోరు పెళ్ళిళ్ళు చేసుకున్నారు. అబ్రాము భార్య శారయి. నాహోరు భార్య పేరు మిల్కా. ఆమె మిల్కా, ఇస్కాలకు తండ్రి అయిన హారాను కూతురు.
30 But Sarai was barren, and had no childe.
౩౦శారయి గొడ్రాలు. ఆమెకు పిల్లలు లేరు.
31 Then Terah tooke Abram his sonne, and Lot the sonne of Haran, his sonnes sonne, and Sarai his daughter in lawe, his sonne Abrams wife: and they departed together from Vr of the Caldees, to goe into the land of Canaan, and they came to Haran, and dwelt there.
౩౧తెరహు తన కొడుకు అబ్రామును, తన మనుమడు, హారాను కొడుకు లోతును, తన కోడలు శారయిని తీసుకు కనానుకు బయలుదేరాడు. ఊరు అనే కల్దీయుల పట్టణంలో నుంచి వాళ్ళతోపాటు బయలుదేరి హారాను వరకూ వచ్చి అక్కడ నివాసం ఉన్నాడు.
32 So the dayes of Terah were two hundreth and fiue yeeres, and Terah died in Haran.
౩౨తెరహు రెండు వందల ఐదు సంవత్సరాలు బతికి, హారానులో చనిపోయాడు.
