Genesis 10
1 Now these are the generations of the sonnes of Noah, Shem, Ham and Iapheth: vnto whom sonnes were borne after the flood.
A ovo su plemena sinova Nojevijeh, Sima, Hama i Jafeta, kojima se rodiše sinovi poslije potopa.
2 The sonnes of Iapheth were Gomer and Magog, and Madai, and Iauan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
Sinovi Jafetovi: Gamer i Magog i Madaj i Javan i Tovel i Meseh i Tiras.
3 And the sonnes of Gomer, Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
A sinovi Gamerovi: Ashanas i Rifat i Togarma.
4 Also the sonnes of Iauan, Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
A sinovi Javanovi: Elisa i Tarsis, Kitim i Dodanim.
5 Of these were the yles of the Gentiles deuided in their landes, euery man after his tongue, and after their families in their nations.
Od njih se razdijeliše ostrva narodna na zemljama svojim, svako po jeziku svojemu i po porodicama svojim, u narodima svojim.
6 Moreouer, ye sonnes of Ham were Cush, and Mizraim, and Put, and Canaan.
A sinovi Hamovi: Hus i Mesrain, Fud i Hanan.
7 And the sonnes of Cush, Seba and Hauilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: also the sonnes of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.
A sinovi Husovi: Sava i Evila i Savata i Regma i Savataka. A sinovi Regmini: Sava i Dadan.
8 And Cush begate Nimrod, who began to be mightie in the earth.
Hus rodi i Nevroda; a on prvi bi silan na zemlji;
9 He was a mightie hunter before the Lord. wherefore it is saide, As Nimrod the mightie hunter before the Lord.
Bješe dobar lovac pred Gospodom; zato se kaže: dobar lovac pred Gospodom kao Nevrod.
10 And the beginning of his kingdome was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
A poèetak carstvu njegovu bješe Vavilon i Oreh i Arhad i Halani u zemlji Senaru.
11 Out of that land came Asshur, and builded Niniueh, and the citie Rehoboth, and Calah:
Iz te zemlje izaðe Asur, i sazida Nineviju i Rovot grad i Halah,
12 Resen also betweene Niniueh and Calah: this is a great citie.
I Dasem izmeðu Ninevije i Halaha; to je grad velik.
13 And Mizraim begate Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim.
A Mesrain rodi Ludeje i Enemeje i Laveje i Neftaleje,
14 Pathrusim also, and Casluhim (out of whom came the Philistims) and Caphtorims.
I Patroseje i Hasmeje, odakle izaðoše Filisteji i Gaftoreji.
15 Also Canaan begat Zidon his first borne, and Heth,
A Hanan rodi Sidona, prvenca svojega, i Heta,
16 And Iebusi, and Emori, and Girgashi,
I Jevuseja i Amoreja i Gergeseja,
17 And Hiui, and Arki, and Sini,
I Eveja i Arukeja i Aseneja,
18 And Aruadi, and Zemari, and Hamathi: and afterwarde were the families of the Canaanites spred abroade.
I Aradeja i Samareja i Amateja. A poslije se rasijaše plemena Hananejska.
19 Then the border of the Canaanites was from Zidon, as thou commest to Gerar vntil Azzah, and as thou goest vnto Sodom, and Gomorah, and Admah, and Zeboijm, euen vnto Lasha.
I bjehu meðe Hananejske od Sidona iduæi na Gerar pa do Gaze, i iduæi na Sodom i Gomor i Adamu i Sevojim pa do Dasa.
20 These are the sonnes of Ham according to their families, according to their tongues in their countries and in their nations.
To su sinovi Hamovi po porodicama svojim i po jezicima svojim, u zemljama svojim i u narodima svojim.
21 Vnto Shem also the father of all the sonnes of Eber, and elder brother of Iapheth were children borne.
I Simu rodiše se sinovi, najstarijemu bratu Jafetovu, ocu svijeh sinova Everovijeh.
22 The sonnes of Shem were Elam and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram.
Sinovi Simovi bjehu: Elam i Asur i Arfaksad i Lud i Aram.
23 And the sonnes of Aram, Vz and Hul, and Gether and Mash.
A sinovi Aramovi: Uz i Ul i Gater i Mas.
24 Also Arpachshad begate Shelah, and Shelah begate Eber.
A Arfaksad rodi Salu, a Sala rodi Evera.
25 Vnto Eber also were borne two sonnes: the name of the one was Peleg: for in his dayes was the earth diuided: and his brothers name was Ioktan.
A Everu se rodiše dva sina: jednom bješe ime Falek, jer se u njegovo vrijeme razdijeli zemlja, a bratu njegovu ime Jektan.
26 Then Ioktan begate Almodad and Sheleph, and Hazarmaueth, and Ierah,
A Jektan rodi Elmodada i Saleta i Sarmota i Jaraha,
27 And Hadoram, and Vzal, and Dicklah,
I Odora i Evila i Deklu,
28 And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
I Evala i Avimaila i Savu,
29 And Ophir, and Hauilah, and Iobab: all these were the sonnes of Ioktan.
I Ufira i Evilu i Jovava; ti svi bjehu sinovi Jektanovi.
30 And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest vnto Sephar a mount of the East.
I življahu od Mase, kako se ide na Safir do gora istoènijeh.
31 These are the sonnes of Shem according to their families, according to their tongues, in their countreis and nations.
To su sinovi Simovi po porodicama svojim i po jezicima svojim, u zemljama svojim i u narodima svojim;
32 These are the families of the sonnes of Noah, after their generations among their people: and out of these were the nations diuided in the earth after the flood.
To su porodice sinova Nojevijeh po plemenima svojim, u narodima svojim; i od njih se razdijeliše narodi po zemlji poslije potopa.
