Genesis 10
1 Now these are the generations of the sonnes of Noah, Shem, Ham and Iapheth: vnto whom sonnes were borne after the flood.

2 The sonnes of Iapheth were Gomer and Magog, and Madai, and Iauan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

3 And the sonnes of Gomer, Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

4 Also the sonnes of Iauan, Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
Se Javan ki te papa Elicha, Tasis, Kitim ak Wodanim.
5 Of these were the yles of the Gentiles deuided in their landes, euery man after his tongue, and after their families in their nations.
Se tout pitit ak pitit pitit Jafè yo sa ki zansèt tout moun k'ap viv nan zile yo, yo chak sou tè pa yo, yo chak ak lang pa yo. Yo t'ap viv ansanm, fanmi ak fanmi, nasyon ak nasyon.
6 Moreouer, ye sonnes of Ham were Cush, and Mizraim, and Put, and Canaan.
Men pitit gason Kam yo. Se te Kouch, Mizrayim, Pout ak Kanaran.
7 And the sonnes of Cush, Seba and Hauilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: also the sonnes of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.
Kouch te fè senk pitit gason: Seba, Avila, Sabta, Rama ak Sabteka. Rama menm te gen de pitit gason: Seba ak Dedan.
8 And Cush begate Nimrod, who began to be mightie in the earth.
Kouch te gen yon lòt pitit gason yo te rele: Nimwòd. Nimwòd sa a, se premye moun ki te gwo chèf sou latè.
9 He was a mightie hunter before the Lord. wherefore it is saide, As Nimrod the mightie hunter before the Lord.
Se te yon gwo chasè devan Seyè a. Se poutèt sa yo di. Gwo chasè devan Bondye tankou Nimwòd.
10 And the beginning of his kingdome was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
Nan peyi kote li t'ap gouvènen an te gen lavil sa yo: Babèl, Erèk, Akad, Kalne nan peyi Chenea.
11 Out of that land came Asshur, and builded Niniueh, and the citie Rehoboth, and Calah:
Apre sa, li kite peyi a, li ale lavil Asou. Men lavil li bati yo: Neniv, Reobòt-Ir, Kalak.
12 Resen also betweene Niniueh and Calah: this is a great citie.
Lèfini, li bati lavil Rezèm ant Neniv ak Kalak. Kalak sa a te yon gwo lavil.
13 And Mizraim begate Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim.
Mizrayim fè pitit. Se yo ki zansèt moun peyi Lidi, peyi Anan, peyi Leyab ak peyi Naftou,
14 Pathrusim also, and Casluhim (out of whom came the Philistims) and Caphtorims.
peyi Patwous, peyi Kaslou ak peyi Kaftò. Se nan peyi Kaslou sa a moun Filisti yo soti.
15 Also Canaan begat Zidon his first borne, and Heth,
Premye pitit Kanaran se te Sidon. Apre sa vin Et.
16 And Iebusi, and Emori, and Girgashi,
Se Kanaran tout ki papa Jebis, Amori, Gigach,
17 And Hiui, and Arki, and Sini,
Evi, Aka, Seni,
18 And Aruadi, and Zemari, and Hamathi: and afterwarde were the families of the Canaanites spred abroade.
Avad, Zema, Amat. Apre sa tout fanmi Kanaran yo gaye.
19 Then the border of the Canaanites was from Zidon, as thou commest to Gerar vntil Azzah, and as thou goest vnto Sodom, and Gomorah, and Admah, and Zeboijm, euen vnto Lasha.
Lizyè tè moun Kanaran yo pati depi lavil Sidon, li mete tèt sou Gera jouk li rive Gaza. Apre sa, li vire sou Sodòm ak Gomò, Adma ak Seboyim jouk li rive Lecha.
20 These are the sonnes of Ham according to their families, according to their tongues in their countries and in their nations.
Se tout pitit ak pitit pitit Kam yo sa, yo chak sou tè pa yo, yo chak ak lang yo. Yo t'ap viv ansanm, fanmi ak fanmi, nasyon ak nasyon.
21 Vnto Shem also the father of all the sonnes of Eber, and elder brother of Iapheth were children borne.
Sèm te gran frè Jafè. Li te gen anpil pitit tou. Se li ki te zansèt tout pitit Ebè yo.
22 The sonnes of Shem were Elam and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram.
Men pitit gason Sèm yo. Se te Elam, Asou, Apachad, Lidi ak Aram.
23 And the sonnes of Aram, Vz and Hul, and Gether and Mash.
Men pitit Aram yo. Se te Ouz, Oul, Getè ak Mach.
24 Also Arpachshad begate Shelah, and Shelah begate Eber.
Se Apachad ki te papa Chelak. Chelak menm te papa Ebè.
25 Vnto Eber also were borne two sonnes: the name of the one was Peleg: for in his dayes was the earth diuided: and his brothers name was Ioktan.
Ebè te gen de pitit gason. Yonn te rele Pelèg, paske se nan tan li moun sou latè te divize yonn ak lòt. Yo te rele frè l' la Joktan.
26 Then Ioktan begate Almodad and Sheleph, and Hazarmaueth, and Ierah,
Joktan te papa Almodad, Chelèf, Azmavèt, Jerak,
27 And Hadoram, and Vzal, and Dicklah,
Adoram, Ouzal, Dikla,
28 And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
Obal, Abimayèl, Seba,
29 And Ophir, and Hauilah, and Iobab: all these were the sonnes of Ioktan.
Ofi, Avila ak Jobab. Yo tout se pitit Joktan yo te ye.
30 And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest vnto Sephar a mount of the East.
Tè kote yo t'ap viv la te pran depi lavil Mecha, li moute kote lavil Sefa, jouk mòn ki bò kote solèy leve a.
31 These are the sonnes of Shem according to their families, according to their tongues, in their countreis and nations.
Se tout pitit ak pitit pitit Sèm yo sa, yo chak sou tè pa yo, yo chak ak lang pa yo. Yo t'ap viv ansanm, fanmi ak fanmi, nasyon ak nasyon.
32 These are the families of the sonnes of Noah, after their generations among their people: and out of these were the nations diuided in the earth after the flood.
