+ Genesis 1 >
1 In the beginning God created the heauen and the earth.
Mfiase no Onyankopɔn bɔɔ ɔsoro ne asase.
2 And the earth was without forme and void, and darkenesse was vpon the deepe, and the Spirit of God mooued vpon the waters.
Na asase yɛ basaa a na ɛda mpan, na sum kata bun no ani, na Onyankopɔn Honhom butuw nsu no ani.
3 Then God said, Let there be light: And there was light.
Onyankopɔn hyɛe se, “Ɛnyɛ hann,” na ɛyɛɛ hann.
4 And God saw the light that it was good, and God separated the light from the darkenes.
Onyankopɔn huu sɛ hann no ye, na ɔtew hann no fii sum no ho.
5 And God called the Light, Day, and the darkenes, he called Night. So the euening and the morning were the first day.
Onyankopɔn frɛɛ hann no se, “adekyee,” na sum no nso se, “adesae.” Ade sae na ade kyee, da a edi kan ne no.
6 Againe God said, Let there be a firmament in the mids of the waters: and let it separate the waters from the waters.
Onyankopɔn kae se, “Nkyemu mmra nsu no ntam, na ɛnkyekyɛ nsu no mu.”
7 Then God made the firmament, and separated the waters, which were vnder the firmament, from the waters which were aboue the firmament: and it was so.
Enti Onyankopɔn yɛɛ nkyɛmu no, de kyekyɛɛ nsu a ɛwɔ nkyɛmu no ase fii nsu a ɛwɔ nkyɛmu no atifi no mu. Na ɛyɛɛ saa.
8 And God called the firmament Heauen. So the Euening and the morning were the second day.
Onyankopɔn too atifi nkyɛmu no din wim. Na ade sae, na ade kyee; eyi ne da a ɛto so abien.
9 God said againe, Let the waters vnder the heauen be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appeare. and it was so.
Na Onyankopɔn kae se, “Nsu a ɛwɔ nkyɛmu no ase no ano mmoa wɔ faako, na asase kesee nna ne ho adi.” Na ɛyɛɛ saa.
10 And God called the dry land, Earth, and he called the gathering together of the waters, Seas: and God saw that it was good.
Onyankopɔn too beae kesee ne din “asase.” Na nsu a ɛboaa ne ho ano no nso, ɔtoo no din “ɛpo.” Onyankopɔn hui sɛ eye.
11 Then God said, Let the earth bud forth the bud of the herbe, that seedeth seed, the fruitfull tree, which beareth fruite according to his kinde, which hath his seede in it selfe vpon the earth: and it was so.
Afei Onyankopɔn kae se, “Afifide mfifi wɔ asase so; afifide a ɛsow aba, nnuaba ahorow a ɛsow aba ne nea nʼaba hyehyɛ mu nyinaa mfifi wɔ asase so.” Na ɛyɛɛ saa.
12 And the earth brought foorth the bud of the herbe, that seedeth seede according to his kind, also the tree that beareth fruit, which hath his seed in it selfe according to his kinde: and God saw that it was good.
Afifide a ɛsow aba ne nnua fifii wɔ asase so na nʼaba no nyin yɛɛ nnua ne afifide sɛ ne sɛso. Onyankopɔn hui sɛ eye.
13 So the euening and the morning were the third day.
Na ade sae, na ade kyee. Eyi ne da a ɛto so abiɛsa.
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heauen, to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signes, and for seasons, and for dayes and yeeres.
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heauen to giue light vpon the earth: and it was so.
na ɛmma hann mmra nkyɛmu a ɛwɔ wim no mu, na ahyerɛn wɔ asase so.” Na ɛyɛɛ saa.
16 God then made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesse light to rule the night: he made also the starres.
Onyankopɔn yɛɛ akanea akɛse abien a ɛyɛ owia ne ɔsram sɛ, owia no nni adekyee so na ɔsram no nni anadwo so. Ɔbɔɔ nsoromma nso.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heauen, to shine vpon the earth,
Onyankopɔn de akanea akɛse abien yi sii nkyɛmu a ɛwɔ wim no mu sɛ ɛnhyerɛn wɔ asase so,
18 And to rule in the day, and in the night, and to separate the light from the darkenesse: and God saw that it was good.
na wonni adekyee ne adesae no so, na ɛntew hann no mfi sum no ho. Na Onyankopɔn hui sɛ eye.
19 So the euening and the morning were the fourth day.
Na ade sae, na ade kyee. Da a ɛto so anan ne no.
20 Afterward God said, Let the waters bring foorth in abundance euery creeping thing that hath life: and let the foule flie vpon the earth in the open firmament of the heauen.
Onyankopɔn kae se, “Abɔde a nkwa wɔ mu nhyɛ nsu no ma, na nnomaa ntu mfa asase ne nkyɛmu a ɛwɔ wim no so.”
21 Then God created the great whales, and euery thing liuing and mouing, which the waters brought foorth in abundance according to their kinde, and euery fethered foule according to his kinde: and God sawe that it was good.
22 Then God blessed them, saying, Bring foorth fruite and multiplie, and fill the waters in the seas, and let the foule multiplie in the earth.
Onyankopɔn hyiraa abɔde no nyinaa so, kae se, “Monwo na monyɛ bebree na monhyɛ po no mu nsu no ma, na nnomaa ase ntrɛw wɔ asase so.”
23 So the euening and the morning were the fifte day.
Na ade sae, na ade kyee. Da a ɛto so anum ne no.
24 Moreouer God said, Let the earth bring foorth the liuing thing according to his kinde, cattel, and that which creepeth, and the beast of the earth, according to his kinde. and it was so.
Onyankopɔn kae se, “Abɔde a nkwa wɔ mu ahorow nyinaa ne wɔn sɛso, anantwi ne mmoa a wɔwea wɔn afuru so ne mmoa ahorow a wɔyɛ keka a wɔwɔ asase so nyinaa mmra asase so.” Na ɛyɛɛ saa.
25 And God made the beast of the earth according to his kinde, and the cattell according to his kinde, and euery creeping thing of the earth according to his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Onyankopɔn bɔɔ mmoa ahorow, anantwi ahorow ne wɔn sɛso ne mmoa a wɔwea wɔn afuru so ne wɔn sɛso. Na Onyankopɔn hui sɛ eye.
26 Furthermore God said, Let vs make man in our image according to our likenes, and let them rule ouer the fish of the sea, and ouer the foule of the heauen, and ouer the beastes, and ouer all the earth, and ouer euery thing that creepeth and moueth on the earth.
Onyankopɔn kae se, “Momma yɛmmɔ onipa sɛ yɛn sɛso, na onni po mu mpataa, wim nnomaa, anantwi ne mmoa a wɔyɛ keka ne biribiara a ɛwea nʼafuru so wɔ asase so no so.”
27 Thus God created the man in his image: in the image of God created he him: he created them male and female.
Enti Onyankopɔn bɔɔ onipa sɛ ne sɛso; Onyankopɔn sɛso so na ɔbɔɔ wɔn; ɔbarima ne ɔbea na ɔbɔɔ wɔn.
28 And God blessed them, and God said to them, Bring forth fruite and multiplie, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule ouer the fish of the sea, and ouer the foule of the heauen, and ouer euery beast that moueth vpon the earth.
Onyankopɔn hyiraa wɔn, ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Monwo na monyɛ asase so ma, na munni biribiara so. Munni po mu mpataa ne wim nnomaa ne abɔde biara a nkwa wɔ mu a ɛwɔ asase so no nyinaa so.”
29 And God said, Beholde, I haue giuen vnto you euery herbe bearing seede, which is vpon al the earth, and euery tree, wherein is the fruite of a tree bearing seede: that shall be to you for meate.
Afei Onyankopɔn kae se, “Mede asase so afifide a ɛsow aba nyinaa, afifide biara a aba hyɛ ne nnuaba mu wɔ asase yi so nyinaa hyɛ wo nsa. Ɛbɛyɛ wʼaduan.
30 Likewise to euery beast of the earth, and to euery foule of the heauen, and to euery thing that moueth vpon the earth, which hath life in it selfe, euery greene herbe shall be for meate. and it was so.
Mede nhabammono nyinaa ama aboa biara a ɔwɔ asase so, anomaa biara a ɔwɔ wim, biribiara a ɛwea nʼafuru so, biribiara a nkwa wɔ mu wɔ asase so sɛ wɔn aduan.” Na ɛyɛɛ saa.
31 And God sawe all that he had made, and loe, it was very good. So the euening and the morning were the sixt day.
Onyankopɔn hwɛɛ nea wayɛ nyinaa huu sɛ ɛyɛ papa. Na ade sae, na ade kyee. Eyi ne da a ɛto so asia.
