Genesis 1
1 In the beginning God created the heauen and the earth.
U poèetku stvori Bog nebo i zemlju.
2 And the earth was without forme and void, and darkenesse was vpon the deepe, and the Spirit of God mooued vpon the waters.
A zemlja bješe bez oblièja i pusta, i bješe tama nad bezdanom; i duh Božji dizaše se nad vodom.
3 Then God said, Let there be light: And there was light.
I reèe Bog: neka bude svjetlost. I bi svjetlost.
4 And God saw the light that it was good, and God separated the light from the darkenes.
I vidje Bog svjetlost da je dobra; i rastavi Bog svjetlost od tame.
5 And God called the Light, Day, and the darkenes, he called Night. So the euening and the morning were the first day.
I svjetlost nazva Bog dan, a tamu nazva noæ. I bi veèe i bi jutro, dan prvi.
6 Againe God said, Let there be a firmament in the mids of the waters: and let it separate the waters from the waters.
Potom reèe Bog: neka bude svod posred vode, da rastavlja vodu od vode.
7 Then God made the firmament, and separated the waters, which were vnder the firmament, from the waters which were aboue the firmament: and it was so.
I stvori Bog svod, i rastavi vodu pod svodom od vode nad svodom; i bi tako.
8 And God called the firmament Heauen. So the Euening and the morning were the second day.
A svod nazva Bog nebo. I bi veèe i bi jutro, dan drugi.
9 God said againe, Let the waters vnder the heauen be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appeare. and it was so.
Potom reèe Bog: neka se sabere voda što je pod nebom na jedno mjesto, i neka se pokaže suho. I bi tako.
10 And God called the dry land, Earth, and he called the gathering together of the waters, Seas: and God saw that it was good.
I suho nazva Bog zemlja, a zborišta vodena nazva mora; i vidje Bog da je dobro.
11 Then God said, Let the earth bud forth the bud of the herbe, that seedeth seed, the fruitfull tree, which beareth fruite according to his kinde, which hath his seede in it selfe vpon the earth: and it was so.
Opet reèe Bog: neka pusti zemlja iz sebe travu, bilje, što nosi sjeme, i drvo rodno, koje raða rod po svojim vrstama, u kojem æe biti sjeme njegovo na zemlji. I bi tako.
12 And the earth brought foorth the bud of the herbe, that seedeth seede according to his kind, also the tree that beareth fruit, which hath his seed in it selfe according to his kinde: and God saw that it was good.
I pusti zemlja iz sebe travu, bilje, što nosi sjeme po svojim vrstama, i drvo, koje raða rod, u kojem je sjeme njegovo po njegovijem vrstama. I vidje Bog da je dobro.
13 So the euening and the morning were the third day.
I bi veèe i bi jutro, dan treæi.
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heauen, to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signes, and for seasons, and for dayes and yeeres.
Potom reèe Bog: neka budu vidjela na svodu nebeskom, da dijele dan i noæ, da budu znaci vremenima i danima i godinama;
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heauen to giue light vpon the earth: and it was so.
I neka svijetle na svodu nebeskom, da obasjavaju zemlju. I bi tako.
16 God then made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesse light to rule the night: he made also the starres.
I stvori Bog dva vidjela velika: vidjelo veæe da upravlja danom, i vidjelo manje da upravlja noæu, i zvijezde.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heauen, to shine vpon the earth,
I postavi ih Bog na svodu nebeskom da obasjavaju zemlju.
18 And to rule in the day, and in the night, and to separate the light from the darkenesse: and God saw that it was good.
I da upravljaju danom i noæu, i da dijele svjetlost od tame. I vidje Bog da je dobro.
19 So the euening and the morning were the fourth day.
I bi veèe i bi jutro, dan èetvrti.
20 Afterward God said, Let the waters bring foorth in abundance euery creeping thing that hath life: and let the foule flie vpon the earth in the open firmament of the heauen.
Potom reèe Bog: neka vrve po vodi žive duše, i ptice neka lete iznad zemlje pod svod nebeski.
21 Then God created the great whales, and euery thing liuing and mouing, which the waters brought foorth in abundance according to their kinde, and euery fethered foule according to his kinde: and God sawe that it was good.
I stvori Bog kitove velike i sve žive duše što se mièu, što provrvješe po vodi po vrstama svojim, i sve ptice krilate po vrstama njihovijem. I vidje Bog da je dobro;
22 Then God blessed them, saying, Bring foorth fruite and multiplie, and fill the waters in the seas, and let the foule multiplie in the earth.
I blagoslovi ih Bog govoreæi: raðajte se i množite se, i napunite vodu po morima, i ptice neka se množe na zemlji.
23 So the euening and the morning were the fifte day.
I bi veèe i bi jutro, dan peti.
24 Moreouer God said, Let the earth bring foorth the liuing thing according to his kinde, cattel, and that which creepeth, and the beast of the earth, according to his kinde. and it was so.
Potom reèe Bog: neka zemlja pusti iz sebe duše žive po vrstama njihovijem, stoku i sitne životinje i zvijeri zemaljske po vrstama njihovijem. I bi tako.
25 And God made the beast of the earth according to his kinde, and the cattell according to his kinde, and euery creeping thing of the earth according to his kind: and God saw that it was good.
I stvori Bog zvijeri zemaljske po vrstama njihovijem, i stoku po vrstama njezinijem, i sve sitne životinje na zemlji po vrstama njihovijem. I vidje Bog da je dobro.
26 Furthermore God said, Let vs make man in our image according to our likenes, and let them rule ouer the fish of the sea, and ouer the foule of the heauen, and ouer the beastes, and ouer all the earth, and ouer euery thing that creepeth and moueth on the earth.
Potom reèe Bog: da naèinimo èovjeka po svojemu oblièju, kao što smo mi, koji æe biti gospodar od riba morskih i od ptica nebeskih i od stoke i od cijele zemlje i od svijeh životinja što se mièu po zemlji.
27 Thus God created the man in his image: in the image of God created he him: he created them male and female.
I stvori Bog èovjeka po oblièju svojemu, po oblièju Božijemu stvori ga; muško i žensko stvori ih.
28 And God blessed them, and God said to them, Bring forth fruite and multiplie, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule ouer the fish of the sea, and ouer the foule of the heauen, and ouer euery beast that moueth vpon the earth.
I blagoslovi ih Bog, i reèe im Bog: raðajte se i množite se, i napunite zemlju, i vladajte njom, i budite gospodari od riba morskih i od ptica nebeskih i od svega zvjerinja što se mièe po zemlji.
29 And God said, Beholde, I haue giuen vnto you euery herbe bearing seede, which is vpon al the earth, and euery tree, wherein is the fruite of a tree bearing seede: that shall be to you for meate.
I još reèe Bog: evo, dao sam vam sve bilje što nosi sjeme po svoj zemlji, i sva drveta rodna koja nose sjeme; to æe vam biti za hranu.
30 Likewise to euery beast of the earth, and to euery foule of the heauen, and to euery thing that moueth vpon the earth, which hath life in it selfe, euery greene herbe shall be for meate. and it was so.
A svjemu zvjerinju zemaljskom i svjema pticama nebeskim i svjemu što se mièe na zemlji i u èem ima duša živa, dao sam svu travu da jedu. I bi tako.
31 And God sawe all that he had made, and loe, it was very good. So the euening and the morning were the sixt day.
Tada pogleda Bog sve što je stvorio, i gle, dobro bješe veoma. I bi veèe i bi jutro, dan šesti.
