Ezra 7
1 Now after these things, in the reigne of Artahshashte King of Persia, was Ezra the sonne of Seraiah, the sonne of Azariah, the sonne of Hilkiah,
Mgbe nke a gasịrị, nʼoge ọchịchị Ataksekses bụ eze Peshịa. Ezra bụ nwa Seraya nwa Azaraya, Azaraya nwa Hilkaya,
2 The sonne of Shallum, the sonne of Zadok, the sonne of Ahitub,
bụ nwa Shalum, nwa Zadọk, nwa Ahitub,
3 The sonne of Amariah, the sonne of Azariah, the sonne of Meraioth,
nwa Amaraya, nwa Azaraya, nwa Meraiot,
4 The sonne of Zeraiah, the sonne of Vzzi, the sonne of Bukki,
Meraiot nwa Zerahaya; Zerahaya nwa Uzi, Uzi nwa Buki;
5 The sonne of Abishua, the sonne of Phinehas, the sonne of Eleazar, the sonne of Aaron, the chiefe Priest.
Buki nwa Abishua, Abishua nwa Finehaz; Finehaz nwa Elieza, Elieza nwa Erọn onyeisi nchụaja.
6 This Ezra came vp from Babel, and was a Scribe prompt in the Lawe of Moses, which the Lord God of Israel had giuen, and the King gaue him all his request according to the hande of the Lord his God which was vpon him.
Ezra a si Babilọn bịarute. Ọ bụ onye ọka nʼihe gbasara iwu ahụ Onyenwe anyị, Chineke Izrel nyere Mosis. Eze nyere ya ihe niile nke ọ rịọrọ, nʼihi na aka Onyenwe anyị Chineke ya dịkwasịrị nʼahụ ya.
7 And there went vp certaine of the children of Israel, and of the Priests, and the Leuites, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims vnto Ierusalem, in the seuenth yere of King Artahshashte.
Ụfọdụ ndị Izrel, ndị nchụaja, ndị Livayị, ndị ọbụ abụ, ndị nche na ndị na-eje ozi nʼụlọnsọ, soro ya jee Jerusalem nʼafọ asaa nke ọchịchị eze Ataksekses.
8 And hee came to Ierusalem in the fift moneth, which was in the seuenth yeere of the King.
Ezra bịaruru Jerusalem nʼọnwa nke ise, nke afọ asaa nke ọchịchị eze.
9 For vpon the first day of the first moneth began he to goe vp from Babel, and on the first day of the fift moneth came he to Ierusalem, according to the good hande of his God that was vpon him.
Ọ hapụrụ Babilọn nʼabalị mbụ nke ọnwa mbụ, rute Jerusalem nʼabalị mbụ nke ọnwa ise nʼihi na Chineke nọnyeere ya.
10 For Ezra had prepared his heart to seeke the Lawe of the Lord, and to doe it, and to teach the precepts and iudgements in Israel.
Nke a mere nʼihi na Ezra kpebiri nʼobi ya ịmụ, na idebe iwu Onyenwe anyị, na ịbụ onye ozizi nke okwu Chineke nye ụmụ Izrel.
11 And this is the copie of the letter that King Artahshashte gaue vnto Ezra the Priest and scribe, euen a writer of the words of the commadements of ye Lord, and of his statutes ouer Israel.
Nke a bụ ndepụta akwụkwọ ozi eze, bụ Ataksekses degaara Ezra onye nchụaja, na onye ozizi, na onye ọka nʼihe gbasara iwu na ụkpụrụ nke Onyenwe anyị nyere Izrel:
12 ARTAHSHASHTE King of Kings to Ezra the Priest and perfite scribe of the Lawe of the God of heauen, and to Cheeneth.
Ataksekses, eze na-achị ndị eze ọzọ, na-edegara Ezra akwụkwọ, bụ onye nchụaja, bụrụkwa onye nkuzi okwu Chineke nke eluigwe. Ndeewo!
13 I haue giuen commandement, that euery one, that is willing in my kingdome of the people of Israel, and of the Priestes, and Leuites to goe to Ierusalem with thee, shall goe.
Ugbu a, ana m enye iwu ka onye Izrel ọbụla bi nʼalaeze m, ma ndị nchụaja, na ndị Livayị, ndị wepụtara onwe ha ị soro gị gaa Jerusalem, ha nwere ike ịga.
14 Therefore art thou sent of the King and his seuen counsellers, to enquire in Iudah and Ierusalem, according to the lawe of thy God, which is in thine hand,
Eze na mmadụ asaa ndị na-adụ ya ọdụ na-eziga gị Juda na Jerusalem ka ị gaa leba anya nʼiwu Chineke nke dị gị nʼaka.
15 And to carry the siluer and the gold, which the King and his cousellers willingly offer vnto the God of Israel (whose habitation is in Ierusalem)
Ọzọkwa, ịga e were onyinye ọlaedo na ọlaọcha ndị a eze na ndị ndụmọdụ ya ji afọ ofufu nye Chineke nke Izrel, onye ebe obibi ya dị na Jerusalem.
16 And all the siluer and gold that thou canst finde in all the prouince of Babel, with the free offring of the people, and that which the Priestes offer willingly to the house of their God which is in Ierusalem,
Tinyere ọlaedo na ọlaọcha nke i nwere ike ịnata nʼala ahụ niile nʼakụkụ niile nke Babilọn, tinyekwara onyinye ihuọma si nʼaka ndị mmadụ, na ndị nchụaja niile, maka ụlọnsọ ukwu Chineke ha dị na Jerusalem.
17 That thou mayest bye speedily with this siluer, bullocks, rammes, lambes, with their meate offrings and their drinke offrings: and thou shalt offer them vpon the altar of the house of your God, which is in Ierusalem.
Ị ga-eji ego niile ndị a zụọ oke ehi, na ebule, na atụrụ, na onyinye mkpụrụ ọka, na onyinye ihe ọṅụṅụ, e ji achụ aja nʼebe ịchụ aja nke ụlọnsọ Chineke dị na Jerusalem.
18 And whatsoeuer it pleaseth thee and thy brethren to do with the rest of the siluer, and gold, doe ye it according to the will of your God.
Ọ bụrụ na ego amapụta nʼime ya, gị na ụmụnne gị ga-eji ya mee ihe unu maara bụ uche Chineke unu.
19 And the vessels that are giuen thee for the seruice of the house of thy God, those deliuer thou before God in Ierusalem.
Ngwongwo niile e bunyere gị maka ije ozi nʼụlọnsọ Chineke, buru ha buruo nʼihu Chineke nke Jerusalem.
20 And the residue that shall be needeful for the house of thy God, which shall be meete for thee to bestowe, thou shalt bestowe it out of the Kings treasure house,
Ma ihe ndị ọzọ nke fọdụrụ nʼihi ụlọnsọ Chineke gị, nke kwesiri na i mere, ị nwere ike site nʼụlọakụ eze mee ha.
21 And I King Artahshashte haue giuen commandemet to all the treasurers which are beyond the Riuer, that whatsoeuer Ezra the Priest and Scribe of the Law of the God of heauen shall require of you, that it be done incontinently,
Mụ, bụ Ataksekses, na-eziga iwu a nye ndị na-elekọta ego nʼọdịda anyanwụ osimiri Yufretis sị ha, ihe ọbụla Ezra, onye nchụaja, na onye nkuzi okwu Chineke nke eluigwe chọrọ site nʼaka unu, unu nye ya.
22 Vnto an hundreth talents of siluer, vnto an hundreth measures of wheate, and vnto an hundreth baths of wine, and vnto an hundreth baths of oyle, and salt without writing.
Ọ bụladị ruo ọlaọcha dị otu narị talenti, ya na narị akpa ọka wiiti ise, na narị galọọnụ mmanya vaịnị isii, na narị efa nke mmanụ oliv na nnu nʼọtụtụ ọbụla, dịka ọ chọrọ ya.
23 Whatsoeuer is by the commandement of the God of heauen, let it be done speedily for the house of the God of heauen: for why should he be wroth against the realme of the King, and his children?
Ihe ọbụla ọzọ, nke Chineke nke eluigwe chọrọ, ka e mee ha nʼụzọ kwesiri nye maka owuwu ụlọnsọ Chineke nke eluigwe. Nʼihi gịnị ka iwe Chineke ga-eji dakwasị eze na ụmụ ya ndị ikom?
24 And we certifie you, that vpon any of the Priestes, Leuites, singers, porters, Nethinims, or Ministers in this house of God, there shall no gouernour laye vpon them tolle, tribute nor custome.
Ana m enyekwa iwu na ndị nchụaja niile, ndị Livayị niile, ndị ọbụ abụ niile, ndị nche niile, ndị ozi ụlọnsọ niile, na ndị ọzọ niile na-arụrụ Chineke ọrụ, agaghị atụ ụtụ ọbụla.
25 And thou Ezra (after the wisedome of thy God, that is in thine hand) set iudges and arbiters, which may iudge all the people that is beyond the Riuer, euen all that knowe the Lawe of thy God, and teach ye them that know it not.
“Ugbu a, Ezra, ị ga-eji amamihe Chineke gị nyere gị họpụta ndị ikpe, na ndịisi, ndị ga-achị obodo niile dị nʼọdịda anyanwụ nke osimiri Yufretis. Ọ bụrụ na ha amazighị iwu Chineke nke ọma, ị ga-akụziri ha.
26 And whosoeuer will not doe the Lawe of thy God, and the Kings lawe, let him haue iudgement without delay, whether it be vnto death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment.
Ahụhụ ga-adịrị onye ọbụla jụrụ idebe iwu Chineke, na iwu eze, ga-abụ ọnwụ, maọbụ nchụpụ site nʼala ya gaa mba ọzọ, maọbụ ịnakọrọ ya ihe niile o nwere, maọbụ ịtụba ya nʼụlọ mkpọrọ.”
27 Blessed be the Lord God of our fathers, which so hath put in the Kings heart, to beautifie the house of the Lord that is in Ierusalem,
Otuto dịrị Onyenwe anyị Chineke nna nna anyị ha, onye mere ka eze kpebie ime ka ụlọnsọ Onyenwe anyị dị na Jerusalem dị mma ile anya.
28 And hath enclined mercy toward me, before the King and his counsellers, and before all the Kings mightie Princes: and I was comforted by the hand of the Lord my God which was vpon me, and I gathered the chiefe of Israel to goe vp with me.
Keleekwa Chineke onye nyere m ihuọma nʼihu ndị ndụmọdụ ya, na nʼihu ụmụ eze, bụ ndịisi ọchịchị dị ike. Nʼihi na aka Onyenwe anyị Chineke m nọnyeere m. Eji m obi ike chịkọta ndịisi site nʼIzrel ka ha soro m gaa.
