1 These also are the sonnes of the prouince, that went vp out of the captiuitie (whome Nebuchadnezzar King of Babel had caried away vnto Babel) and returned to Ierusalem, and to Iudah, euery one vnto his citie,
੧ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਛੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਆਏ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਇਹ ਹਨ -
2 Which came with Zerubbabel, to wit, Ieshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Biguai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel was,
੨ਇਹ ਜ਼ਰੂੱਬਾਬਲ, ਯੇਸ਼ੂਆ, ਨਹਮਯਾਹ, ਸਰਾਯਾਹ, ਰਏਲਾਯਾਹ, ਮਾਰਦਕਈ, ਬਿਲਸ਼ਾਨ, ਮਿਸਪਾਰ, ਬਿਗਵਈ, ਰਹੂਮ ਅਤੇ ਬਆਨਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਆਏ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਇਹ ਹੈ:

੩ਪਰੋਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਦੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਬਹੱਤਰ
4 The sonnes of Shephatiah, three hundreth, seuentie and two:
੪ਸ਼ਫ਼ਟਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਬਹੱਤਰ
5 The sonnes of Arah, seuen hundreth, and seuentie and fiue:

6 The sonnes of Pahath Moab, of the sonnes of Ieshua and Ioab, two thousand, eight hundreth and twelue:
੬ਪਹਥ-ਮੋਆਬ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਯੇਸ਼ੂਆ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ, ਦੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਬਾਰਾਂ
7 The sonnes of Elam, a thousande, two hundreth and foure and fiftie:

੮ਜ਼ੱਤੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਨੌ ਸੌ ਪੰਤਾਲੀ
9 The sonnes of Zaccai, seuen hundreth and threescore:
੯ਜ਼ੱਕਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਸੱਠ
10 The sonnes of Bani, sixe hundreth and two and fourtie:
੧੦ਬਾਨੀ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਛੇ ਸੌ ਬਤਾਲੀ
11 The sonnes of Bebai, sixe hundreth, and three and twentie:
੧੧ਬੇਬਾਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਛੇ ਸੌ ਤੇਈ

੧੩ਅਦੋਨੀਕਾਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਛੇ ਸੌ ਛਿਆਹਠ

੧੪ਬਿਗਵਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਦੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਛਿਪੰਜਾ,

੪੨ਦਰਬਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, - ਸ਼ੱਲੂਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਅਟੇਰ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਤਲਮੋਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਅੱਕੂਬ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਟੀਟਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਸ਼ੋਬਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਸਾਰੇ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਉਨਤਾਲੀ।

੫੫ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, - ਸੋਟਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਸੋਫਰਥ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਪਰੂਦਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
56 The sonnes of Iaalah, the sonnes of Darkon, the sonnes of Giddel,
੫੬ਯਅਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਦਰਕੋਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਗਿੱਦੇਲ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
57 The sonnes of Shephatiah, the sonnes of Hattil, the sonnes of Pochereth Hazzebaim, the sonnes of Ami.
੫੭ਸ਼ਫਟਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹੱਟੀਲ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਪੋਕਰਥ-ਹੱਸਬਾਇਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਆਮੀ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
58 All the Nethinims, and the sonnes of Salomons seruants were three hundreth ninetie and two.
੫੮ਸਾਰੇ ਨਥੀਨੀਮ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਬਾਨਵੇਂ ਸੀ।
59 And these went vp from Telmelah, and from Telharsha, Cherub, Addan, and Immer, but they could not discerne their fathers house and their seede, whether they were of Israel.
੫੯ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਸਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੇਲ-ਮੇਲਹ, ਤੇਲ-ਹਰਸਾ, ਕਰੂਬ, ਅਦੋਨ, ਇੰਮੇਰ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਵੰਸ਼ਾਵਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਦੱਸ ਸਕੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਨਹੀਂ,
60 The sonnes of Delaiah, the sonnes of Tobiah, the sonnes of Nekoda, six hundreth and two and fiftie.
੬੦ਦਲਾਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਤੋਬਿਆਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਨਕੋਦਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਛੇ ਸੌ ਬਵੰਜਾ
61 And of the sonnes of the Priestes, the sonnes of Habaiah, the sonnes of Coz, the sonnes of Barzillai: which tooke of the daughters of Barzillai the Giliadite to wife, and was called after their name.
੬੧ਅਤੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਤੋਂ - ਹਬੱਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਕੋਸ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਬਰਜ਼ਿੱਲਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਗਿਲਆਦੀ ਬਰਜ਼ਿੱਲਈ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਕੁੜੀ ਵਿਆਹ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੱਦੇ ਗਏ।
62 These sought their writing of the genealogies, but they were not founde: therefore were they put from the Priesthood.
੬੨ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਲਿਖਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੰਸ਼ਾਵਲੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਿਖਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਭਿਆ ਪਰ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ ਤਦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਾਜਕਾਈ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢੇ ਗਏ।
63 And Tirshatha saide vnto them, that they should not eate of the most holy thing, tell there rose vp a Priest with Vrim and Thummim.
੬੩ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਜਕ ਊਰੀਮ ਤੇ ਥੁੰਮੀਮ ਨਾਲ ਖੜਾ ਨਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤਦ ਤੱਕ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਖਾਣਾ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
64 The whole Congregation together was two and fourtie thousande, three hundreth and threescore,
੬੪ਸਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਭਾ ਬਤਾਲੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਸੱਠ ਸੀ।
65 Beside their seruants and their maydes: of whome were seuen thousande, three hundreth and seuen and thirtie: and among them were two hundreth singing men and singing women.
੬੫ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਸੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਸੱਤ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਸੈਂਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਰਾਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਗਣਾਂ ਸਨ।
66 Their horses were seuen hundreth, and sixe and thirtie: their mules, two hundreth and fiue and fourtie:
੬੬ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਛੱਤੀ, ਖੱਚਰ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਪੰਤਾਲੀ,
67 Their camels foure hundreth, and fiue and thirtie: their asses, sixe thousand, seuen hundreth and twentie.
੬੭ਊਠ ਚਾਰ ਸੌ ਪੈਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਗਧੇ ਛੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਵੀਹ ਸਨ।
68 And certeine of the chiefe fathers, when they came to the house of the Lord, which was in Ierusalem, they offred willingly for the house of God, to set it vp vpon his fundation.
੬੮ਜਦ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ, ਤਦ ਕਈਆਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਦਾਨ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਭਵਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੜਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
69 They gaue after their abilitie vnto the treasure of the worke, euen one and threescore thousand drammes of golde, and fiue thousand pieces of siluer, and an hundreth Priests garments.
੬੯ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿੱਤ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਉਸ ਕੰਮ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕਾਹਠ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਮਨਹ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਜੋੜੇ ਬਸਤਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
70 So the Priests and the Leuites, and a certeine of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
੭੦ਤਦ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਜਾ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ, ਅਤੇ ਗਾਇਕ ਅਤੇ ਦਰਬਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਥੀਨੀਮ ਭਾਵ ਹੈਕਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸ ਗਏ।
