Ezra 2
1 These also are the sonnes of the prouince, that went vp out of the captiuitie (whome Nebuchadnezzar King of Babel had caried away vnto Babel) and returned to Ierusalem, and to Iudah, euery one vnto his citie,
Banyak di antara orang-orang buangan meninggalkan daerah Babel lalu kembali ke Yerusalem dan Yehuda, masing-masing ke kotanya sendiri. Mereka telah hidup dalam pembuangan di Babel sejak mereka diangkut ke sana oleh Raja Nebukadnezar.
2 Which came with Zerubbabel, to wit, Ieshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Biguai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel was,
Pemimpin-pemimpin mereka adalah Zerubabel, Yesua, Nehemia, Seraya, Reelaya, Mordekhai, Bilsan, Mispar, Bigwai, Rehum dan Baana. Inilah daftar kaum keluarga Israel, dengan jumlah orang dari setiap kaum yang kembali dari pembuangan:

Orang-orang yang leluhurnya diam di kota-kota berikut ini juga kembali dari pembuangan: Kota Betlehem-123; Netofa-56; Anatot-128; Asmawet-42; Kiryat-Arim, Kefira dan Beerot-743; Rama dan Gaba-621; Mikhmas-122; Betel dan Ai-223; Nebo-52; Magbis-156; Elam yang lain-1.254; Harim-320; Lod, Hadid dan Ono-725; Yerikho-345; Senaa-3.630.

40 The Leuites: the sonnes of Ieshua, and Kadmiel of the sonnes of Hodauiah, seuentie and foure.
Kaum keluarga Lewi yang pulang dari pembuangan ialah: Yesua dan Kadmiel (keturunan Hodawya) -74. Para penyanyi di Rumah TUHAN (keturunan Asaf) -128. Penjaga gerbang di Rumah TUHAN (keturunan Salum, Ater, Talmon, Akub, Hatita dan Sobai) -139.
41 The Singers: the sonnes of Asaph, an hundreth and eight and twentie.
42 The sonnes of the porters: the sonnes of Shallum, the sonnes of Ater, the sonnes of Talmon, the sonnes of Akkub, the sonnes of Hatita, the sonnes of Shobai: all were an hundreth and nine and thirtie.
43 The Nethinims: the sonnes of Ziha, the sonnes of Hasupha, the sonnes of Tabbaoth,
Inilah daftar kaum keluarga para pekerja di Rumah TUHAN yang pulang dari pembuangan: Ziha, Hasufa, Tabaot, Keros, Siaha, Padon, Lebana, Hagaba, Akub, Hagab, Samlai, Hanan, Gidel, Gahar, Reaya, Rezin, Nekoda, Gazam, Uza, Paseah, Besai, Asna, Meunim, Nefusim, Bakbuk, Hakufa, Harhur, Bazlut, Mehida, Harsa, Barkos, Sisera, Temah, Neziah dan Hatifa.

56 The sonnes of Iaalah, the sonnes of Darkon, the sonnes of Giddel,
57 The sonnes of Shephatiah, the sonnes of Hattil, the sonnes of Pochereth Hazzebaim, the sonnes of Ami.
58 All the Nethinims, and the sonnes of Salomons seruants were three hundreth ninetie and two.
Kaum keluarga para pekerja di Rumah TUHAN dan para pelayan Salomo yang kembali dari pembuangan berjumlah 392 orang.
59 And these went vp from Telmelah, and from Telharsha, Cherub, Addan, and Immer, but they could not discerne their fathers house and their seede, whether they were of Israel.
Orang-orang yang berangkat dari kota-kota Tel-Melah, Tel-Harsa, Kerub, Adan dan Imer, berjumlah 652 orang. Mereka termasuk kaum keluarga Delaya, Tobia dan Nekoda, tetapi mereka tidak dapat membuktikan bahwa mereka adalah keturunan bangsa Israel.
60 The sonnes of Delaiah, the sonnes of Tobiah, the sonnes of Nekoda, six hundreth and two and fiftie.
61 And of the sonnes of the Priestes, the sonnes of Habaiah, the sonnes of Coz, the sonnes of Barzillai: which tooke of the daughters of Barzillai the Giliadite to wife, and was called after their name.
Beberapa kaum keluarga imam juga tidak dapat menemukan catatan mengenai leluhur mereka, yaitu kaum keluarga Habaya, Hakos, dan Barzilai. (Leluhur kaum Barzilai kawin dengan seorang perempuan keturunan kaum Barzilai di Gilead, dan kemudian ia memakai nama keluarga mertuanya.) Karena mereka tidak dapat membuktikan siapa leluhur mereka, maka mereka tidak diterima sebagai imam.
62 These sought their writing of the genealogies, but they were not founde: therefore were they put from the Priesthood.
63 And Tirshatha saide vnto them, that they should not eate of the most holy thing, tell there rose vp a Priest with Vrim and Thummim.
Gubernur daerah Yehuda melarang mereka makan makanan yang dipersembahkan kepada Allah, sampai ada seorang imam yang dapat minta petunjuk dengan memakai Urim dan Tumim.
64 The whole Congregation together was two and fourtie thousande, three hundreth and threescore,
Orang-orang buangan yang pulang ke negerinya seluruhnya berjumlah 42.360 orang. Selain itu pulang juga para pembantu mereka sejumlah 7.337 orang dan penyanyi sejumlah 200 orang. Mereka juga membawa binatang-binatang mereka, yaitu: Kuda-736; Bagal-245; Unta-435; Keledai-6.720.
65 Beside their seruants and their maydes: of whome were seuen thousande, three hundreth and seuen and thirtie: and among them were two hundreth singing men and singing women.
66 Their horses were seuen hundreth, and sixe and thirtie: their mules, two hundreth and fiue and fourtie:
67 Their camels foure hundreth, and fiue and thirtie: their asses, sixe thousand, seuen hundreth and twentie.
68 And certeine of the chiefe fathers, when they came to the house of the Lord, which was in Ierusalem, they offred willingly for the house of God, to set it vp vpon his fundation.
Ketika orang-orang buangan sampai di Rumah TUHAN di Yerusalem, beberapa pemimpin kaum memberikan persembahan sukarela untuk membangun kembali Rumah TUHAN.
69 They gaue after their abilitie vnto the treasure of the worke, euen one and threescore thousand drammes of golde, and fiue thousand pieces of siluer, and an hundreth Priests garments.
Mereka memberi sumbangan menurut kemampuan masing-masing dan hasilnya ialah 500 kg emas, 2.800 kg perak, dan 100 jubah untuk para imam.
70 So the Priests and the Leuites, and a certeine of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
Para imam, orang-orang Lewi dan sebagian dari rakyat menetap di Yerusalem dan di kota-kota di dekatnya. Para penyanyi, para penjaga gerbang Rumah TUHAN dan para pekerja di Rumah TUHAN serta orang-orang Israel selebihnya menetap di kota-kota tempat tinggal leluhur mereka dahulu.
