Ezekiel 8
1 And in the sixt yere, in the sixt moneth, and in the fift day of the moneth, as I sate in mine house, and the Elders of Iudah sate before me, the hand of the Lord God fell there vpon me.
೧ಯೆಹೋಯಾಖೀನನು ಸೆರೆಯಾದ ಆರನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ, ಆರನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ, ಐದನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಕುಳಿತಿರಲು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಹಸ್ತಸ್ಪರ್ಶದಿಂದ ನಾನು ಪರವಶನಾದೆನು.
2 Then I beheld, and lo, there was a likenesse, as the appearance of fire, to looke to, from his loynes downeward, and from his loynes vpward, as the appearance of brightnes, and like vnto amber.
೨ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನೋಡಲಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಉರಿಯುತ್ತದೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ನನಗೆ ತೇಜೋರೂಪವು ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು; ಸೊಂಟದ ಹಾಗೆ ತೋರುವ ಅದರ ಮಧ್ಯಭಾಗದಿಂದ ಕೆಳಗಡೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಉರಿಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು; ಅದರ ಮಧ್ಯಭಾಗದಿಂದ ಮೇಲ್ಗಡೆ ಸುವರ್ಣವು ಥಳಥಳಿಸುತ್ತದೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾಂತಿಯು ಹೊಳೆಯಿತು.
3 And he stretched out the likenes of an had, and tooke me by an hearie locke of mine head, and the Spirit lift me vp betweene the earth, and the heauen, and brought mee by a Diuine vision to Ierusalem, into the entry of ye inner gate that lieth toward the North, where remained the idole of indignation, which prouoked indignation.
೩ಆಗ ಆ ತೇಜೋರೂಪಿಯು ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಹಸ್ತದಂಥ ಹಸ್ತವನ್ನು ಚಾಚಿ ನನ್ನ ತಲೆಯ ಕೂದಲಿನಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿಯಲು ದೇವರಾತ್ಮವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಭೂಮ್ಯಾಕಾಶಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನವರೆಗೆ ಒಯ್ದು, ಒಳಗಣ ಪ್ರಾಕಾರದ ಉತ್ತರ ಬಾಗಿಲ ಮುಂದೆ, ದೇವರನ್ನು ರೋಷಗೊಳಿಸುವ ವಿಗ್ರಹವು ಮೊದಲಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆ ದೇವದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಕಂಡು ಬಂದಿತು.
4 And beholde, the glorie of the God of Israel was there according to the vision, that I saw in the fielde.
೪ಆಹಾ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ದರ್ಶನವು ಬಯಲು ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆದಂತೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನನಗಾಯಿತು.
5 Then saide he vnto mee, Sonne of man, lift vp thine eyes nowe towarde the North. So I lift vp mine eyes towarde the North, and beholde, Northward, at the gate of the altar, this idole of indignation was in the entrie.
೫ಆಗ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ, “ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣೆತ್ತಿ ನೋಡು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು; ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣೆತ್ತಿ ನೋಡಲು, ಇಗೋ, ದೇವರನ್ನು ರೋಷಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಆ ವಿಗ್ರಹವು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಉತ್ತರದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಪ್ರವೇಶದ್ವಾರದ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತಿತ್ತು.
6 He said furthermore vnto me, Sonne of man, seest thou not what they doe? euen the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here to cause me to depart from my Sanctuarie? but yet turne thee and thou shalt see greater abominations.
೬ಆಗ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ, “ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಇವರು ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದೆಯಾ? ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸುವ ಅಧಿಕ ದುರಾಚಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆಯಾ? ಇದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಪವಿತ್ರಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ದೂರ ಹೋಗಬೇಕಾಯಿತು. ಬಾ, ಇವುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಇನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ದುರಾಚಾರಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುವೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
7 And he caused me to enter at the gate of the court: and when I looked, beholde, an hole was in the wall.
೭ಆಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾಕಾರದ ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಬರ ಮಾಡಿದನು; ಇಗೋ, ಆ ಗೋಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ರಂಧ್ರವು ನನಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು.
8 Then said he vnto me, Sonne of man, digge nowe in the wall. And when I had digged in the wall, beholde, there was a doore.
೮ಆಗ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ, “ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ತೋಡು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ನಾನು ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ತೋಡಲಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ, ಒಂದು ಬಾಗಿಲು ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು.
9 And he said vnto mee, Go in, and beholde the wicked abominations that they doe here.
೯ಆತನು ನನಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಒಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಜನರು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸುವ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದ ದುಷ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ನಾನು ಹೋಗಿ ನೋಡಿದೆನು.
10 So I went in, and sawe, and beholde, there was euery similitude of creeping thinges and abominable beasts and all the idoles of the house of Israel painted vpon the wall round about.
೧೦ಇಗೋ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಾತಿಯ ಕ್ರಿಮಿಕೀಟಗಳೂ, ಅಸಹ್ಯ ಮೃಗಗಳೂ ಮತ್ತು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರು ಪೂಜಿಸುವ ಸಕಲ ಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳೂ ಆ ಗೋಡೆಯ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಚಿತ್ರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದವು.
11 And there stoode before them seuentie men of the Ancients of the house of Israel, and in the middes of them stoode Iaazaniah, ye sonne of Shaphan, with euerie man his censour in his hand, and the vapour of the incense went vp like a cloude.
೧೧ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಫಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾಜನ್ಯನೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಧೂಪಾರತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಆ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರು; ಧೂಪದ ಸುವಾಸನೆಯ ಧೂಮವು ಮೇಘವಾಗಿ ಏರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
12 Then saide hee vnto mee, Sonne of man, hast thou seene what the Ancients of the house of Israel do in the darke, euery one in the chamber of his imagerie? for they say, The Lord seeth vs not, the Lord hath forsaken the earth.
೧೨ಆಗ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ, “ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದ ಹಿರಿಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಾನಾ ರೂಪಗಳಿಂದ ಚಿತ್ರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೋಣೆಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸುವ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದೆಯಾ? ‘ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಯೆಹೋವನು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ’ ಎಂದು ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರಷ್ಟೆ” ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
13 Againe he saide also vnto me, Turne thee againe, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they doe.
೧೩ಆಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ, “ಇವುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ದುರಾಚಾರಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುವಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
14 And he caused me to enter into the entrie of the gate of the Lords house, which was toward the North: and beholde there sate women mourning for Tammuz.
೧೪ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದ ಉತ್ತರದ ಬಾಗಿಲ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದನು; ಇಗೋ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು “ತಮ್ಮೂಜ್” ದೇವತೆಗಾಗಿ ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದರು.
15 Then saide hee vnto me, Hast thou seene this, O sonne of man? Turne thee againe, and thou shalt see greater abominations then these.
೧೫ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ, “ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಇದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದೆಯಾ? ಇವುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ದುರಾಚಾರಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುವೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
16 And he caused me to enter into the inner court of the Lordes house, and beholde, at the doore of the Temple of the Lord, betweene the porche and the altar were about fiue and twentie men with their backs toward the Temple of the Lord, and their faces towarde the East, and they worshipped the sunne, towarde the East.
೧೬ಆತನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದ ಒಳಗಣ ಪ್ರಾಕಾರದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆತಂದನು; ಇಗೋ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದ ಬಾಗಿಲ ಮುಂದೆ ಮಂಟಪಕ್ಕೂ ಮತ್ತು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಗೂ ನಡುವೆ ಸುಮಾರು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ಜನರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಪೂರ್ವದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಮುಖ ಮಾಡಿ ಉದಯಕಾಲದ ಸೂರ್ಯನನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
17 The he said vnto me, Hast thou seene this, O sonne of man? Is it a small thing to the house of Iudah to commit these abominations which they do here? for they haue filled the land with crueltie, and haue returned to prouoke mee: and loe, they haue cast out stinke before their noses.
೧೭ಆಗ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ, “ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಇದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದೆಯಾ? ಯೆಹೂದ ವಂಶದವರು ತಾವು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸುವ ಅಸಹ್ಯಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ಅಲ್ಪವೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೋ? ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸೆಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಸಿದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೆಣಕಬೇಕೆಂದೇ ಮತ್ತೆ ಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನೋಡು, ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮೂಗಿಗೆ ಒತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
18 Therefore will I also execute my wrath: mine eye shall not spare them, neither will I haue pitie, and though they crie in mine eares with a loude voyce, yet will I not heare them.
೧೮ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಾನು ಕೋಪೋದ್ರೇಕದಿಂದ ವರ್ತಿಸುವೆನು, ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಉಳಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರು ಕೂಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮಹಾ ಶಬ್ದವು ನನ್ನ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದರೂ ಆಲಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.”
