Ezekiel 7
1 Moreover the word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
Und es erging das Wort Jahwes an mich folgendermaßen:
2 Also thou sonne of man, thus saith the Lord God, An ende is come vnto the lande of Israel: the ende is come vpon the foure corners of the lande.
Du aber, Menschensohn, sprich: So spricht der Herr Jahwe zum Land Israel: Ein Ende kommt, es kommt das Ende über die vier Enden des Landes.
3 Nowe is the ende come vpon thee, and I wil sende my wrath vpon thee, and will iudge thee according to thy wayes, and will laye vpon thee all thine abominations.
Jetzt kommt das Ende über dich, und ich will meinen Zorn wider dich entsenden und will dich richten nach deinem Wandel und die Strafe für alle deine Greuel über dich kommen lassen.
4 Neither shall mine eye spare thee, neither will I haue pitie: but I will laye thy waies vpon thee: and thine abomination shall bee in the middes of thee, and yee shall knowe that I am the Lord.
Und mein Auge soll nicht mitleidig auf dich blicken, noch werde ich Schonung üben, sondern werde die Strafe für deinen Wandel über dich kommen lassen, und deine Greuel werden mitten unter dir sein; und so sollt ihr erkennen, daß ich Jahwe bin.
5 Thus saith the Lord God, Beholde, one euil, euen one euill is come.
So spricht der Herr Jahwe: Ein Unheil, fürwahr ein Unheil kommt!
6 An ende is come, the end is come, it watched for thee: beholde, it is come.
Ein Ende kommt, es kommt das Ende, es regt sich auf dich zu, sieh', da kommt es!
7 The morning is come vnto thee, that dwellest in the lande: the time is come, the day of trouble is neere, and not the sounding againe of the mountaines.
Es kommt das Schicksal über dich, Bewohner des Landes; es kommt die Zeit, nahe ist der Tag, ein Tag der Bestürzung und nicht des fröhlichen Jauchzens auf den Bergen.
8 Now I will shortly powre out my wrath vpon thee, and fulfil mine anger vpon thee: I will iudge thee according to thy wayes, and will lay vpon thee all thine abominations.
Nun will ich bald meinen Grimm über dich ausschütten und meinen Zorn an dir erschöpfen und will dich richten nach deinem Wandel und die Strafe für alle deine Greuel über dich bringen.
9 Neither shall mine eie spare thee, neither will I haue pitie, but I will laye vpon thee according to thy wayes, and thine abominations shalbe in the middes of thee, and ye shall knowe that I am the Lord that smiteth.
Und mein Auge soll nicht mitleidig blicken, noch werde ich Schonung üben; deinem Wandel gemäß werde ich's über dich kommen lassen, und deine Greuel werden mitten unter dir sein; und so sollt ihr erkennen, daß ich, Jahwe, es bin, der da schlägt.
10 Beholde, the day, beholde, it is come: the morning is gone forth, the rod florisheth: pride hath budded.
Sieh', da ist der Tag; sieh', da kommt es: es geht hervor die Krone, es blüht das Scepter, es sproßt der Übermut!
11 Crueltie is risen vp into a rod of wickednes: none of them shall remaine, nor of their riches, nor of any of theirs, neither shall there bee lamentation for them.
Die Gewaltthat erhebt sich als Zuchtrute des Unrechts; da bleibt nichts übrig von ihnen und von ihrer Pracht, und niemand beklagt sie.
12 The time is come, the day draweth neere: let not the byer reioyce, nor let him that selleth, mourne: for the wrath is vpon al the multitude thereof.
Es kommt die Zeit, es naht der Tag: der Käufer freue sich nicht, und der Verkäufer traure nicht; denn Zorn wird entbrennen über all ihr Gepränge.
13 For hee that selleth, shall not returne to that which is solde, although they were yet aliue: for the vision was vnto al the multitude thereof, and they returned not, neither doeth any encourage himselfe in the punishment of his life.
Denn der Verkäufer wird doch nicht wieder zu dem Verkauften gelangen, und der Käufer wird bei seinen Lebzeiten nicht das Verkaufte behalten; denn ein Gesicht ergeht wider all ihr Vermögen, und ein jeder wird durch seine Verschuldung dahingerafft.
14 They haue blowen the trumpet, and prepared all, but none goeth to the battel: for my wrath is vpon all the multitude thereof.
Man stößt ins Horn und rüstet alles zu, aber niemand zieht in den Kampf; denn mein Zorn ist entbrannt über all ihr Gepränge.
15 The sword is without, and the pestilence, and the famine within: he that is in the field, shall dye with the sword, and he that is in the citie, famine and pestilence shall deuoure him.
Das Schwert draußen und die Pest und der Hunger drinnen; wer auf dem Feld ist, wird durch das Schwert umkommen, und wer in der Stadt ist, den wird Hunger und Pest verzehren.
16 But they that flee away from them, shall escape, and shalbe in the mountaines, like the doues of the valleis: all they shall mourne, euery one for his iniquitie.
Und wenn etliche von ihnen entrinnen, so werden sie auf den Bergen sein wie die Tauben der Schluchten, die insgesamt girren, - ein jeder ob der Strafe für seine Verschuldung.
17 All handes shalbe weake, and all knees shall fall away as water.
Alle Hände werden schlaff herabsinken, und alle Kniee wie zu Wasser zerfließen.
18 They shall also girde them selues with sackecloth, and feare shall couer them, and shame shalbe vpon all faces, and baldnes vpon their heads.
Und sie werden Trauergewänder anlegen, und Entsetzen wird sie umhüllen; auf allen Angesichtern wird Beschämung sein, und auf allen ihren Häuptern eine Glatze.
19 They shall cast their siluer in the streetes, and their golde shalbe cast farre off: their siluer and their gold can not deliuer them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfie their soules, neither fill their bowels: for this ruine is for their iniquitie.
Ihr Silber werden sie auf die Straßen werfen, und ihr Gold wird ihnen als Unflat gelten, denn ihr Silber und ihr Gold kann sie nicht retten am Tage des Ingrimms Jahwes; ihre Gier werden sie nicht damit ersättigen und ihren Bauch nicht damit füllen, denn es ward ihnen Anstoß zur Verschuldung.
20 He had also set the beautie of his ornament in maiestie: but they made images of their abominations, and of their idoles therein: therefore haue I set it farre from them.
Und seinen prachtvollen Schmuck machte das Volk zu einem Gegenstande der Überhebung, und sie fertigten daraus ihre greulichen Bilder, ihre Scheusale; darum mache ich's für sie zu Unflat.
21 And I will giue it into the handes of the strangers to be spoyled, and to the wicked of the earth to be robbed, and they shall pollute it.
Und ich will es den Fremden zur Plünderung preisgeben und den Gottlosesten auf Erden zum Raube, damit sie es entweihen.
22 My face will I turne also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the destroyers shall enter into it, and defile it.
Und ich will mein Angesicht von ihnen abwenden, und so soll man mein Kleinod entweihen, und Räuber sollen in dasselbe eindringen und es entweihen.
23 Make a chaine: for the lande is full of the iudgement of blood, and the citie is full of crueltie.
Denn das Land ist voll von Blutschuld und die Stadt voll Gewaltthat.
24 Wherefore I will bring the most wicked of the heathen, and they shall possesse their houses: I will also make the pompe of the mightie to cease, and their holie places shalbe defiled.
Und so werde ich die schlimmsten der Heidenvölker herbeibringen; die sollen ihre Häuser in Besitz nehmen, und ich will ein Ende machen mit ihrer stolzen Macht, und ihre Heiligtümer sollen entweiht werden.
25 When destruction commeth, they shall seeke peace, and shall not haue it.
Angst kommt, und sie werden Rettung suchen, aber es giebt keine:
26 Calamitie shall come vpon calamitie, and rumour shall bee vpon rumour: then shall they seeke a vision of the Prophet: but the Lawe shall perish from the Priest, and counsel from the Ancient.
Unfall über Unfall kommt, und Schreckenskunde über Schreckenskunde giebt es. Da werden sie vergeblich ein Gesicht begehren von einem Propheten, und den Priestern wird die Weisung abhanden gekommen sein und der Rat der Vornehmen.
27 The King shall mourne, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the handes of the people in the land shall be troubled: I wil doe vnto them according to their waies, and according to their iudgements will I iudge them, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord.
Der König wird trauern, und der Fürst mit Entsetzen bekleidet sein, und die Hände des Landvolks werden kraftlos herabsinken. Nach ihrem Wandel werde ich sie behandeln und nach ihren Rechten sie richten, und sie sollen erkennen, daß ich Jahwe bin.
