Ezekiel 43

1 Afterward he brought me to the gate, euen the gate that turneth towarde the East.

Et il me conduisit à la porte, à la porte qui donnait à l'orient.

2 And beholde, the glorie of the God of Israel came from out of the East, whose voyce was like a noyse of great waters, and the earth was made light with his glorie.

Et voici, la gloire du Dieu d'Israël s'avançait de l'orient, et son retentissement était comme le retentissement des grandes eaux,

3 And the vision which I saw was like the vision, euen as the vision that I sawe when I came to destroy the citie: and the visions were like the vision that I sawe by the riuer Chebar: and I fell vpon my face.

et la terre était éclairée de sa splendeur. Et c'était un aspect comme celui de la vision que j'avais eue, comme la vision que j'avais eue, lorsque je vins annoncer la ruine de la ville, et c'était une vision pareille à celle que j'avais eue près du fleuve Chébar. Et je tombai sur mon visage.

4 And the glorie of the Lord came into the house by the way of the gate, whose prospect is towarde the East.

Et la gloire de l'Éternel entra dans la maison par la porte qui donnait à l'orient,

5 So the Spirite tooke me vp and brought me into the inner court, and beholde, the glorie of the Lord filled the house.

et l'Esprit me souleva et me transporta dans le parvis intérieur, et voici, la gloire de l'Éternel remplissait la maison;

6 And I heard one speaking vnto me out of the house: and there stoode a man by me,

et j'entendis quelqu'un qui me parlait depuis la maison, et un homme se tenait à côté de moi.

7 Which saide vnto me, Sonne of man, this place is my throne, and the place of the soles of my feete, whereas I will dwell among the children of Israel for euer, and the house of Israel shall no more defile mine holy Name, neither they, nor their Kings by their fornication, nor by the carkeises of their Kings in their high places.

Et Il me dit: Fils de l'homme, c'est ici la place de mon trône, et la place de la plante de mes pieds, où je résiderai parmi les enfants d'Israël, éternellement. Et la maison d'Israël ne déshonorera plus mon saint nom, ni eux, ni leurs rois, par leur impudicité, et par les cadavres de leurs rois sur leurs tertres,

8 Albeit they set their thresholdes by my thresholdes, and their postes by my postes (for there was but a wall betweene me and them) yet haue they defiled mine holy Name with their abominations, that they haue committed: wherfore I haue consumed them in my wrath.

quand ils mettaient leurs seuils à côté de mon seuil et leurs portes près de mes portes, tandis qu'il y a un mur entre moi et eux; et ainsi, ils souillèrent mon saint nom par les abominations qu'ils commirent; c'est pourquoi je les ai détruits dans ma colère.

9 Now therefore let them put away their fornication, and the carkeises of their Kings farre from me, and I will dwell among them for euer.

Maintenant leur impudicité et les cadavres de leurs rois demeureront loin de moi, et j'habiterai au milieu d'eux éternellement.

10 Thou sonne of man, shew this House to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their wickednes, and let them measure ye paterne.

Or toi, fils de l'homme, montre à la maison d'Israël cette maison, afin qu'ils rougissent de leurs crimes, et qu'ils mesurent l'édifice.

11 And if they be ashamed of all that they haue done, shew them the forme of the House, and ye paterne thereof, and the going out thereof, and the coming in thereof, and the whole fashion thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the figures thereof, and all the lawes thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keepe the whole fashion thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.

Et s'ils rougissent de tout ce qu'ils ont fait, expose-leur le plan de cette maison, et sa disposition, et ses issues et ses entrées, et toute sa disposition et toutes ses règles, et toute sa disposition et toutes ses lois, et mets-en sous leurs yeux la description, afin qu'ils retiennent son plan dans son entier, et toutes ses règles, et qu'ils s'y conforment.

12 This is the description of the house, It shalbe vpon the toppe of the mount: all the limites thereof round about shalbe most holy. Beholde, this is the description of the house.

Telle est la loi de la maison. Sur le sommet de la montagne, dans toute l'étendue de son enceinte, que tout soit un lieu très saint. Voici, c'est là la loi de la maison.

13 And these are the measures of the Altar, after the cubites, the cubite is a cubite, and an had breadth, euen the bottome shalbe a cubite, and the breadth a cubite, and the border thereof by the edge thereof rounde about shalbe a spanne: and this shalbe the height of the altar.

Et voici les mesures de l'autel en coudées, la coudée d'une coudée et une palme: le foyer une coudée, et une coudée de largeur; et le rebord qui terminait son contour avait un empan de largeur; tel est le support de l'autel.

14 And from the bottome which toucheth the ground to the lower piece shalbe two cubites: and the breadth one cubite, and from the litle piece to the great piece shalbe foure cubites, and the breadth one cubite.

Et depuis la base de terre jusqu'à la première partie rentrante il y aura deux coudées, et une coudée de largeur; et depuis cette partie rentrante qui est plus petite, jusqu'à la plus grande, il y aura quatre coudées, et en largeur une coudée.

15 So the altar shalbe foure cubites, and from the altar vpward shalbe foure hornes.

Et le harel aura quatre coudées, et au-dessus de l'ariel seront les quatre cornes:

16 And the altar shalbe twelue cubites long, and twelue broade, and fouresquare in the foure corners thereof.

et l'ariel aura douze coudées de longueur sur douze coudées de largeur, en carré, et à ses quatre côtés.

17 And ye frame shalbe foureteene cubites log, and fourteene broade in the fouresquare corners thereof, and the border about it shalbe halfe a cubite, and the bottome therof shalbe a cubite about, and the steps thereof shalbe turned towarde ye East.

Et la partie rentrante [supérieure] aura quatorze coudées de longueur sur quatorze coudées de largeur à ses quatre côtés, et le rebord qui terminera son contour aura une demi-coudée, et sa base sera d'une coudée tout autour, et son escalier tourné à l'orient.

18 And he said vnto me, Sone of man, thus saith ye Lord God, These are ye ordinances of ye altar in the day when they shall make it to offer the burnt offring thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.

Et il me dit: Fils de l'homme, ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Ce sont les règlements de l'autel pour le temps où on le fera, afin d'y sacrifier les holocaustes, et d'y répandre le sang.

19 And thou shalt giue to the Priestes, and to the Leuites, that be of the seede of Zadok, which approch vnto me, to minister vnto me, saith the Lord God, a yong bullocke for a sinne offring.

Aux prêtres, aux lévites de la race de Tsadok, qui s'approchent de moi pour me servir, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel, tu donneras un jeune taureau comme victime pour le péché,

20 And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the foure hornes of it, and on the foure corners of the frame, and vpon the border round about: thus shalt thou clense it, and reconcile it.

et tu prendras de son sang, et tu l'en teindras à ses quatre cornes, et aux quatre angles de la partie rentrante, et au rebord qui l'entoure, et ainsi tu en feras la purification et l'expiation.

21 Thou shalt take the bullocke also of the sinne offring, and burne it in the appointed place of the house without the Sanctuarie.

Et tu prendras le taureau expiatoire, et le brûleras dans un lieu déterminé de la maison en dehors du sanctuaire.

22 But the second day thou shalt offer an hee goat without blemish for a sinne offring, and they shall clense ye altar, as they did clense it with the bullocke.

Et le second jour, tu offriras un bouc sans défaut en expiation du péché, et on fera l'expiation de l'autel, comme on l'aura faite avec le taureau.

23 When thou hast made an ende of clensing it, thou shalt offer a yong bullocke without blemish, and a ram out of the flocke without blemish.

Et quand tu auras terminé l'expiation, tu offriras un jeune taureau sans défaut, et un bélier du troupeau, sans défaut,

24 And thou shalt offer them before ye Lord, and the Priestes shall cast salt vpon them, and they shall offer them for a burnt offring vnto ye Lord.

et tu les offriras à l'Éternel; et les prêtres répandront du sel sur eux et les offriront en holocauste à l'Éternel.

25 Seuen dayes shalt thou prepare euery day an hee goate for a sinne offring: they shall also prepare a yong bullocke and a ramme out of the flocke, without blemish.

Pendant sept jours tu sacrifieras journellement un bouc comme victime expiatoire; et ils sacrifieront un jeune taureau et un bélier du troupeau sans défaut.

26 Thus shall they seuen dayes purifie the altar, and clense it, and consecrate it.

Pendant sept jours ils feront l'expiation de l'autel, et sa purification et sa consécration:

27 And when these dayes are expired, vpon the eight day and so forth, the Priests shall make your burnt offrings vpon the altar, and your peace offrings, and I will accept you, saith the Lord God.

et ces jours étant accomplis, le huitième jour et dès lors les prêtres offriront sur l'autel vos holocaustes et vos offrandes, et je vous recevrai favorablement, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
