Ezekiel 40
1 In the fiue and twentieth yeere of our being in captiuitie, in the beginning of the yeere, in the tenth day of the moneth, in the fourteenth yeere after that the citie was smitten, in the selfe same day, the hande of the Lord was vpon mee, and brought me thither.
Nan venn-senkyèm ane egzil nou an, nan kòmansman ane a, nan dizyèm jou nan mwa a, nan katòzyèm ane apre vil la te fin pran an, nan menm jou sa a, men SENYÈ a te sou mwen e Li te mennen mwen la.
2 Into the lande of Israel brought he me by a diuine vision, and set me vpon a very hie mountaine, whereupon was as the building of a citie, toward the South.
Nan vizyon a Bondye yo, Li te mennen m nan peyi Israël, Li te depoze m sou yon mòn byen wo. Epi sou li vè sid te gen yon konstriksyon tankou yon vil.
3 And he brought me thither, and beholde, there was a man, whose similitude was to looke to, like brasse, with a linnen thread in his hand, and a reede to measure with: and he stoode at the gate.
Konsa, se la li te mennen mwen, epi gade byen, te gen yon nonm ak aparans tankou aparans a bwonz, yon lign fisèl fèt ak len ak yon baton apantaj nan men l. Konsa, li te kanpe nan pòtay la.
4 And the man said vnto me, Sonne of man, beholde with thine eyes, and heare with thine eares, and set thine heart vpon all that I shall shew thee: for to the intent, that they might be shewed thee, art thou brought hither: declare al that thou seest, vnto the house of Israel.
Nonm nan te di m: “Fis a lòm, wè ak zye ou e prete atansyon a tout sa ke m va montre ou; paske ou te vin mennen isit la pou m ta ka montre ou li. Deklare a lakay Israël tout sa ke ou wè.”
5 And beholde, I sawe a wall on the outside of the house round about: and in the mans hand was a reede to measure with, of sixe cubites long, by the cubite, and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the buylding with one reede, and the height with one reede.
Gade byen, te gen yon miray sou deyò a tanp lan toutozanviwon, e nan men a nonm nan, te gen yon baton ki mezire sis koude. Yo chak te yon koude plis lajè a yon pla men.
6 Then came he vnto the gate, which looketh towarde the East, and went vp the stayres thereof, and measured the poste of the gate, which was one reede broade, and the other poste of the gate, which was one reede broade.
Konsa, li te ale nan pòtay ki te gen fas li vè lès. Li te monte sou eskalye li yo, e te mezire papòt pòtay la, yon ba kann nan lajè, epi lòt papòt la te yon ba kann nan lajè.
7 And euery chamber was one reede long, and one reede broad, and betweene the chambers were fiue cubites: and the post of the gate by the porch of the gate within was one reede.
Chanm gad la te yon ba kann nan longè, e yon ba kann nan lajè, epi te gen senk koude antre chanm gad yo. Epi papòt pòtay la akote galri pòtay ki te ouvri pa anndan an te yon ba kann.
8 He measured also the porche of the gate within with one reede.
Li te mezire galri a vè fas pòtay la pa anndan, yon ba kann.
9 Then measured he the porch of the gate of eight cubites, and the postes thereof, of two cubites, and the porch of the gate was inward.
Li te mezire galri a pòtay la, uit koude, epi pilye akote li yo, de koude. Epi galri a pòtay la te vè kay la.
10 And the chambers of the gate Eastwarde, were three on this side, and three on that side: they three were of one measure, and the postes had one measure on this side, and one on that side.
Chanm gad a pòtay lès yo te twa nan kote sa a, ak twa de lòt kote. Toule twa nan de kote te gen menm mezi. Pilye akote yo te gen menm mezi a nan chak kote tou.
11 And he measured the breadth of the entrie of the gate ten cubites, and the height of the gate thirteene cubites.
Li te mezire lajè pòtay la, dis koude e longè pòtay la, trèz koude.
12 The space also before the chambers was one cubite on this side, and the space was one cubite on that side, and the chambers were sixe cubites on this side and sixe cubites on that side.
Te gen yon mi baryè yon koude lajè nan chak kote, epi chanm gad yo te sis koude kare nan chak kote.
13 He measured then the gate from the roufe of a chamber to the toppe of the gate: the breadth was fiue and twentie cubites, doore against doore.
Li te mezire pòtay la soti nan twati a youn nan chanm gad yo, rive nan twati a lòt la, yon lajè a venn-senk koude soti nan yon pòt jis rive nan pòt a lòt anfas la.
14 He made also postes of threescore cubites, and the postes of the court, and of the gate had one measure round about.
Li te fè pilye akote yo swasant koude wotè, epi lakou a te rive nan pilye yo jis li antoure pòtay la.
15 And vpon the forefront of the entry of the gate vnto the forefront of the porch of the gate within were fiftie cubites.
Soti devan antre a pòtay, antre a pou rive devan galri enteryè a, te gen senkant koude.
16 And there were narrowe windowes in the chambers, and in their postes within the gate round about, and likewise to the arches: and the windowes went rounde about within: and vpon the postes were palme trees.
Te gen fenèt ki fèt ak gri ki te vizavi a chanm gad yo, nan pozisyon akote pilye yo ak pòtay ki te antoure yo a, e menm jan pou galri yo. Epi te gen fenèt toutozanviwon pa anndan. Epi sou chak pilye akote yo, te gen dekorasyon pye palmis.
17 Then brought he me into the outwarde court, and lo, there were chambers, and a pauement made for the court round about, and thirtie chambers were vpon the pauement.
Konsa, li te mennen mwen nan lakou eksteryè a, e gade byen, te gen chanm ak yon pave ki te fèt pou tout lakou a toupatou. Trant chanm yo te ouvri sou pave a.
18 And the pauement was by the side of the gates ouer against the length of the gates, and the pauement was beneath.
Pave a te akote pòtay yo, e te koresponn a longè pòtay yo, menm pave pi ba a.
19 Then hee measured the breadth from the forefront of the lower gate without, vnto the forefront of the court within, an hundreth cubits Eastward and Northward.
Epi li te mezire lajè a soti devan pòtay pi ba a pou rive devan pati eksteryè a lakou enteryè a, yon santèn koude nan lès ak nan nò.
20 And the gate of the outwarde court, that looked toward the North, measured he after the length and breadth thereof.
Jan pou pòtay lakou eksteryè ki bay fas vè nò a, li te mezire longè li ak lajè li.
21 And the chambers thereof were, three on this side, and three on that side, and the postes thereof and the arches thereof were after the measure of the first gate: the length thereof was fiftie cubites, and the breadth fiue and twentie cubites.
Li te gen twa chanm gad chak kote. Pilye akote li yo ak galri li yo te gen menm mezi ak premye pòtay la. Longè li te senkant koude e lajè a te venn-senk koude.
22 And their windowes, and their arches with their palme trees, were after the measure of the gate that looketh toward the East, and the going vp vnto it had seuen steppes, and the arches therof were before them.
Fenèt li yo, galri li yo ak dekorasyon pye palmis li yo te gen menm mezi ak pòtay ki te bay fas vè lès la. Epi li te vin jwenn pa sèt mach eskalye yo, e galri li te devan yo.
23 And the gate of the inner court stoode ouer against the gate towarde the North, and towarde the East, and hee measured from gate to gate an hundreth cubites.
Lakou enteryè a te gen yon pòtay anfas pòtay nan nò a, menm jan ak pòtay nan lès la. Li te mezire san koude soti nan yon pòtay a yon pòtay.
24 After that, he brought mee towarde the South, and loe, there was a gate towarde the South, and hee measured the postes thereof, and the arches thereof according to these measures.
Nan lè sa a, li te mennen m vè sid e gade byen, te gen yon pòtay vè sid la. Li te mezire pilye akote li yo ak galri li yo selon menm mezi sila yo.
25 And there were windowes in it, and in the arches thereof round about, like those windowes: the height was fiftie cubites, and the breadth fiue and twentie cubites.
Pòtay ak galri li yo te gen fenèt toutotou tankou lòt fenèt yo. Longè la te senkant koude e lajè a te venn-senk koude.
26 And there were seuen steps to go vp to it, and the arches thereof were before them: and it had palme trees, one on this side, and another on that side vpon the post thereof.
Te gen sèt machpye ki t ap monte vè li e galri li yo te devan yo. Li te gen dekorasyon pye palmis yo sou pilye akote yo, youn nan chak kote.
27 And there was a gate in the inner court towarde the South, and he measured from gate to gate towarde the South an hundreth cubites.
Lakou enteryè a te gen yon pòtay vè sid. Li te mezire de pòtay a pòtay vè sid, san koude.
28 And he brought me into the inner court by the South gate, and he measured the South gate according to these measures,
Epi li te mennen m nan lakou enteryè a pa pòtay sid la, e li te mezire pòtay sid la selon menm mezi yo.
29 And the chambers thereof, and the postes thereof, and the arches thereof according to these measures, and there were windowes in it, and in the arches thereof rounde about, it was fiftie cubites long and fiue and twentie cubites broade.
Chanm gad li yo tou, pilye akote li yo ak galri li yo tout selon menm mezi yo. Epi te gen fenèt nan li ak galri yo ki te antoure l toupatou. Li te senkant koude nan longè e venn-senk koude nan lajè.
30 And the arches round about were fiue and twenty cubites long, and fiue cubites broad.
Te gen galri yo toupatou, venn-senk koude longè e senk koude lajè.
31 And the arches thereof were towarde the vtter court, and palme trees were vpon the postes thereof, and the going vp to it had eight steppes.
Galri li yo te vè lakou eksteryè a. Dekorasyon pye palmis yo te sou pilye akote li yo e eskalye li a te gen uit machpye.
32 Againe he brought me into ye inner court toward the East, and he measured the gate according to these measures.
Li te mennen m nan lakou enteryè a vè lès. Li te mezire pòtay la selon menm mezi sila yo.
33 And the chambers thereof, and the postes thereof, and the arches thereof were according to these measures, and there were windowes therein, and in the arches thereof round about, it was fiftie cubites long, and fiue and twentie cubites broade.
Chanm gad li yo tou, pilye akote li yo ak galri li yo te selon menm mezi sa yo. Pòtay ak galri li yo te gen fenèt toutotou. Li te senkant koude nan longè e venn-senk koude nan lajè.
34 And the arches thereof were towarde the vtter court, and palme trees were vpon the postes thereof, on this side and on that side, and the going vp to it had eight steppes.
Galri li yo te vè lakou eksteryè a. Dekorasyon pye palmis yo te sou pilye akote li yo e eskalye a te gen uit machpye.
35 After he brought mee to the North gate, and measured it, according to these measures,
Ankò, li te mennen mwen antre nan pòtay nò a. Li te mezire li selon menm mezi yo—
36 The chambers thereof, the postes thereof, and the arches thereof, and there were windowes therein round about: the height was fiftie cubits, and the breadth fiue and twentie cubites.
avèk chanm gad li yo, pliye akote li yo ak galri li yo. Pòtay la te gen fenèt toutotou. Longè a te senkant koude e lajè a te venn-senk koude.
37 And the postes thereof were towarde the vtter court, and palme trees were vpon the postes thereof on this side, and on that side, and the going vp to it had eight steps.
Pilye akote li yo te vè lakou eksteryè a. Dekorasyon pye palmis yo te sou pilye akote li yo, youn sou chak kote. Eskalye li a te gen uit machpye.
38 And euery chamber, and the entrie thereof was vnder the postes of the gates: there they washed the burnt offring.
Yon chanm ak pòtay li te bò pilye nan pòtay yo. La, yo te lave ofrann brile yo.
39 And in the porch of the gate stoode two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, vpon the which they slew the burnt offring, and the sinne offring, and the trespas offring.
Nan galri pòtay la, te gen de tab nan chak kote, tab sou sila yo te touye ofrann brile yo, ofrann peche yo ak ofrann koupabilite a.
40 And at the side beyond the steppes, at the entry of the North gate stoode two tables, and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate were two tables.
Sou kote deyò a, pandan yon moun t ap monte vè pòtay nò a, te gen de tab, epi sou lòt kote galri pòtay la, te gen de tab.
41 Foure tables were on this side, and foure tables on that side by the side of the gate, euen eight tables whereupon they slew their sacrifice.
Kat tab te nan chak kote touprè pòtay la, ki fè uit tab antou sou sila yo te touye sakrifis yo.
42 And the foure tables were of hewen stone for the burnt offering, of a cubite and an halfe long, and a cubite and an halfe broade, and one cubite hie: whereupon also they layde the instruments wherewith they slew the burnt offring and the sacrifice.
Pou ofrann brile yo, te gen kat tab an wòch taye, yon koude edmi nan longè, yon koude edmi nan lajè e yon koude nan wotè, tab sou sila yo poze enstriman avèk sila yo touye ofrann brile ak sakrifis la.
43 And within were borders an hand broade, fastened round about, and vpon the tables lay the flesh of the offring.
Kwòk yo, longè a yon pla Men te enstale toupatou nan kay la. Sou tab yo, yo te mete chè ofrann nan.
44 And without the inner gate were ye chambers of the singers in the inner Court, which was at the side of the North gate: and their prospect was towarde the South, and one was at the side of the East gate, hauing the prospect towarde the North.
Soti deyò jis rive nan pòtay enteryè a, se te chanm pou chantè nan lakou enteryè yo. Youn nan sila yo te akote pòtay nò a, ak fas li vè sid ak youn akote pòtay sid la, ak fas li vè nò.
45 And he said vnto me, This chamber whose prospect is towarde the South, is for the Priestes that haue the charge to keepe the house.
Li te di mwen: “Sa se chanm ki bay fas vè sid la, ki pou prèt ki responsab lokipe tanp yo.
46 And the chamber whose prospect is toward the North, is for the Priestes that haue the charge to keepe the altar: these are the sonnes of Zadok among ye sonnes of Leui which may come neere to the Lord to minister vnto him.
Men chanm ki bay fas vè nò a se pou prèt ki responsab okipe lotèl yo. Sila yo se fis a Tsadok yo, ki soti nan fis a Levi ki vin rapwoche yo de SENYÈ a pou fè sèvis Li.”
47 So he measured the court, an hundreth cubites long, and an hundreth cubits broad, eue foure square: likewise the altar that was before ye house.
Li te mezire lakou a, an fòm kare nèt, san koude nan longè pa san koude nan lajè. Epi lotèl la te devan tanp lan.
48 And hee brought mee to the porch of the house, and measured the postes of the porch, fiue cubites on this side, and fiue cubites on that side: and the breadth of the gate was three cubites on this side, and three cubites on that side.

49 The length of the porch was twentie cubites, and ye breadth eleuen cubites, and he brought me by the steps whereby they went vp to it, and there were pillars by the postes, one on this side, and another on that side.
