Ezekiel 36
1 Also thou sonne of man, prophesie vnto the mountaines of Israel, and say, Ye mountaines of Israel, heare the word of the Lord.
Você, filho do homem, profetiza para as montanhas de Israel, e diz: “Vocês, montanhas de Israel, ouçam a palavra de Javé.
2 Thus saith the Lord God, because the enemie hath sayde against you, Aha, euen the hye places of the world are ours in possession,
O Senhor Javé diz: 'Porque o inimigo disse contra vocês, “Aha!” e, “Os antigos lugares altos são nossos”!
3 Therefore prophesie, and say, Thus sayth the Lord God, Because that they haue made you desolate, and swallowed you vp on euery side, that ye might be a possession vnto the residue of the heathen, and ye are come vnto the lippes and tongues of men, and vnto the reproch of the people,
portanto profetiza, e diz: 'O Senhor Javé diz: “Porque, mesmo porque te fizeram desolado, e te engoliram de todos os lados, para que possas ser uma possessão para os resíduos das nações, e tu és tomado nos lábios dos faladores, e o relatório maligno do povo;”
4 Therefore ye mountaines of Israel, heare the worde of the Lord God, Thus sayth the Lord God to the mountaines and to the hilles, to the riuers, and to the valleys, and to the waste, and desolate places, and to the cities that are forsaken: which are spoyled and had in derision of the residue of the heathen that are round about.
portanto, vocês montanhas de Israel, ouçam a palavra do Senhor Javé: O Senhor Javé diz para as montanhas e para as colinas, para os cursos de água e para os vales, para os desertos desolados e para as cidades abandonadas, que se tornaram uma presa e um escárnio para os resíduos das nações que estão ao redor;
5 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Surely in the fire of mine indignation haue I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which haue taken my lande for their possession, with the ioy of all their heart, and with despitefull mindes to cast it out for a pray.
portanto o Senhor Javé diz “Certamente no fogo do meu ciúme falei contra os resíduos das nações, e contra todos os Edom, que escolheram minha terra para si mesmos para uma possessão com a alegria de todo o seu coração, a despeito da alma, para expulsá-la para uma presa.”’
6 Prophesie therfore vpon the land of Israel, and say vnto the mountaines, and to the hilles, to the riuers, and to the valleys, Thus sayth the Lord God, Behold, I haue spoken in mine indignation, and in my wrath, because yee haue suffered the shame of the heathen,
Portanto, profetiza a respeito da terra de Israel, e diz às montanhas, às colinas, aos cursos de água e aos vales: 'O Senhor Javé diz: “Eis que eu falei no meu ciúme e na minha ira, porque suportaste a vergonha das nações”.
7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, I haue lifted vp mine hand, surely the heathen that are about you, shall beare their shame.
Portanto, o Senhor Javé diz: “Eu jurei: 'Certamente as nações que estão ao vosso redor suportarão sua vergonha'.
8 But you, O mountaines of Israel, yee shall shoote forth your branches, and bring foorth your fruite to my people of Israel: for they are ready to come.
“““Mas vocês, montanhas de Israel, atirarão seus ramos e darão seus frutos ao meu povo Israel; pois eles estão por vir.
9 For behold, I come vnto you, and I wil turne vnto you, and ye shalbe tilled and sowen.
Pois eis que eu sou por vós, e virei a vós, e sereis lavrados e semeados.
10 And I wil multiply the men vpon you, euen all the house of Israel wholly, and the cities shalbe inhabited, and the desolate places shalbe builded.
multiplicarei homens sobre vós, sobre toda a casa de Israel, até mesmo sobre toda ela. As cidades serão habitadas e os lugares de desperdício serão construídos.
11 And I wil multiply vpon you man and beast, and they shall encrease, and bring fruite, and I will cause you to dwell after your olde estate, and I will bestowe benefites vpon you more then at the first, and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
Multiplicarei o homem e o animal sobre vocês. Eles aumentarão e serão fecundos. Farei com que vocês sejam habitados como eram antes, e farão melhor do que no início. Então vocês saberão que eu sou Yahweh.
12 Yea, I wil cause men to walke vpon you, euen my people Israel, and they shall possesse you, and ye shalbe their inheritance, and ye shall no more henceforth depriue them of men.
Yes, farei com que os homens caminhem sobre você, até mesmo meu povo Israel. Eles te possuirão, e tu serás sua herança, e nunca mais os despojarás de seus filhos”.
13 Thus sayth the Lord God, because they say vnto you, Thou land deuourest vp men, and hast bene a waster of thy people,
“'O Senhor Javé diz: “Porque eles dizem: 'Você é um devorador de homens, e tem sido um desolador de sua nação';
14 Therefore thou shalt deuoure men no more, neither waste thy people henceforth, sayth the Lord God,
portanto, você não devorará mais homens, e não desolará mais sua nação”, diz o Senhor Javé.
15 Neither will I cause men to heare in thee the shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou beare the reproche of the people any more, neither shalt cause thy folke to fal any more, saith the Lord God.
“Não mais vos deixarei ouvir a vergonha das nações”. Você não mais suportará a censura dos povos, e não fará tropeçar mais sua nação”, diz o Senhor Javé'”.
16 Moreouer the word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
Além disso, a palavra de Javé veio a mim, dizendo:
17 Sonne of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their owne lande, they defiled it by their owne wayes, and by their deedes: their way was before me as the filthinesse of the menstruous.
“Filho do homem, quando a casa de Israel vivia em sua própria terra, eles a contaminaram por seus caminhos e por suas obras. Seu caminho diante de mim era como a impureza de uma mulher em sua impureza.
18 Wherfore I powred my wrath vpon them, for the blood that they had shed in the land, and for their idoles, wherewith they had polluted it.
Portanto, derramei minha ira sobre eles pelo sangue que haviam derramado sobre a terra, e porque o haviam contaminado com seus ídolos.
19 And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries for according to their wayes, and according to their deedes, I iudged them.
Eu os espalhei entre as nações, e eles se dispersaram pelos países. Eu os julguei de acordo com seu modo e de acordo com seus atos.
20 And when they entred vnto the heathen, whither they went, they polluted mine holy Name, when they sayd of them, These are the people of the Lord, and are gone out of his land.
Quando chegaram às nações para onde foram, profanaram meu santo nome, na medida em que os homens disseram deles: “Este é o povo de Javé, e deixou sua terra”.
21 But I fauoured mine holy Name which the house of Israel had polluted among the heathen, whither they went.
Mas eu tinha respeito por meu santo nome, que a casa de Israel profanou entre as nações para onde eles foram.
22 Therfore say vnto the house of Israel, Thus saith ye Lord God, I doe not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy Names sake, which yee polluted among the heathen whither ye went.
“Portanto, diga à casa de Israel: 'O Senhor Javé diz: “Eu não faço isso por você, casa de Israel, mas por meu santo nome, que você profanou entre as nações para onde você foi.
23 And I wil sanctifie my great Name, which was polluted among the heathen, among whome you haue polluted it, and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, sayth the Lord God, when I shalbe sanctified in you before their eyes.
santificarei meu grande nome, que foi profanado entre as nações, o qual profanastes entre elas”. Então as nações saberão que eu sou Yahweh”, diz o Senhor Yahweh, “quando eu for provado santo em vós diante dos seus olhos”.
24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your owne land.
“““Pois eu os levarei de entre as nações e os congregarei fora de todos os países, e os trarei para sua própria terra.
25 Then wil I powre cleane water vpon you, and ye shalbe cleane: yea, from all your filthines, and from all your idoles wil I clense you.
““Eu aspergirei água limpa sobre vocês, e vocês estarão limpos. Limpar-vos-ei de toda sua sujeira e de todos os vossos ídolos”.
26 A newe heart also will I giue you, and a new spirit wil I put within you, and I will take away the stonie heart out of your body, and I will giue you an heart of flesh.
Também lhes darei um novo coração e porei um novo espírito dentro de vocês. Tirarei de sua carne o coração pedregoso e lhe darei um coração de carne.
27 And I will put my spirite within you, and cause you to walke in my statutes, and ye shall keepe my iudgements and do them.
Colocarei meu Espírito dentro de vós, e vos farei andar nos meus estatutos. Vós guardareis minhas ordenanças e as cumprireis.
28 And ye shall dwell in the land, that I gaue to your fathers, and ye shalbe my people, and I will be your God.
Residirás na terra que dei a teus pais. Vós sereis meu povo e eu serei vosso Deus.
29 I will also deliuer you from all your filthinesse, and I will call for corne, and will increase it, and lay no famine vpon you.
Eu vos salvarei de toda a vossa impureza. Chamarei pelo grão e o multiplicarei, e não lhe infligirei fome.
30 For I will multiplie the fruite of the trees, and the increase of the fielde, that ye shall beare no more the reproch of famine among the heathen.
Multiplicarei o fruto da árvore e o aumento do campo, para que não recebais mais a reprovação da fome entre as nações.
31 Then shall ye remember your owne wicked wayes, and your deedes that were not good, and shall iudge your selues worthie to haue bene destroyed for your iniquities, and for your abominations.
“““Então vocês se lembrarão de seus maus caminhos e de suas ações que não foram boas; e odiar-se-ão a si mesmos à sua própria vista por suas iniqüidades e por suas abominações.
32 Be it knowen vnto you that I do not this for your sakes, sayth the Lord God: therefore, O ye house of Israel, be ashamed, and confounded for your owne wayes.
Não faço isto por vocês”, diz o Senhor Yahweh. “Que isto seja do vosso conhecimento”. Sede envergonhados e confundidos por vossos caminhos, casa de Israel”.
33 Thus sayth the Lord God, What time as I shall haue clensed you from all your iniquities, I will cause you to dwel in the cities, and the desolate places shalbe builded.
“'O Senhor Javé diz: “No dia em que eu vos purificar de todas as vossas iniquidades, farei com que as cidades sejam habitadas e os lugares de desperdício sejam construídos.
34 And the desolate land shalbe tilled, whereas it lay waste in the sight of all that passed by.
A terra que estava desolada será lavrada em vez de ser uma desolação à vista de todos os que por ali passavam.
35 For they sayd, This waste land was like the garden of Eden, and these waste and desolate and ruinous cities were strong, and were inhabited.
Eles dirão: “Esta terra que estava desolada se tornou como o jardim do Éden”. As cidades desertas, desoladas e arruinadas são fortificadas e habitadas”.
36 Then the residue of the heathen that are left round about you, shall know that I the Lord builde the ruinous places, and plant the desolate places: I the Lord haue spoken it, and wil do it.
Então as nações que ficaram ao seu redor saberão que eu, Javé, construí os lugares arruinados e plantei aquilo que estava desolado. Eu, Yahweh, o disse e o farei”.
37 Thus saith the Lord God, I will yet for this be sought of ye house of Israel, to performe it vnto them: I wil encrease them with men like a flocke.
“'O Senhor Javé diz: “Por isso, além disso, serei consultado pela casa de Israel, para fazer isso por eles: Vou aumentá-los com homens como um rebanho”.
38 As the holy flocke, as the flocke of Ierusalem in their solemne feastes, so shall the desolate cities be filled with flockes of men, and they shall know, that I am the Lord.
Como o rebanho para sacrifício, como o rebanho de Jerusalém em suas festas designadas, assim as cidades desertas ficarão repletas de rebanhos de homens. Então eles saberão que eu sou Yahweh”.
