Ezekiel 36
1 Also thou sonne of man, prophesie vnto the mountaines of Israel, and say, Ye mountaines of Israel, heare the word of the Lord.
E tu, filho do homem, profetiza ao os montes de Israel, e dize: Ó montes de Israel, ouvi a palavra do SENHOR.
2 Thus saith the Lord God, because the enemie hath sayde against you, Aha, euen the hye places of the world are ours in possession,
Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Dado que o inimigo disse sobre vós: Ha, ha! Até os antigos lugares altos se tornaram propriedade nossa!
3 Therefore prophesie, and say, Thus sayth the Lord God, Because that they haue made you desolate, and swallowed you vp on euery side, that ye might be a possession vnto the residue of the heathen, and ye are come vnto the lippes and tongues of men, and vnto the reproch of the people,
Portanto profetiza, e dize: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Por isso, por terem vos desolado e devorado desde o redor, para que fôsseis possuídos pelo resto das nações, e fostes trazidos aos lábios dos fofoqueiros, à infâmia do povo,
4 Therefore ye mountaines of Israel, heare the worde of the Lord God, Thus sayth the Lord God to the mountaines and to the hilles, to the riuers, and to the valleys, and to the waste, and desolate places, and to the cities that are forsaken: which are spoyled and had in derision of the residue of the heathen that are round about.
Por isso, ó montes de Israel, ouvi a palavra do Senhor DEUS: assim diz o Senhor DEUS aos montes e aos morros, às correntes e aos vales, às ruínas, aos lugares devastados, e às cidades abandonadas, que foram saqueadas e escarnecidas pelo resto das nações que há ao redor.
5 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Surely in the fire of mine indignation haue I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which haue taken my lande for their possession, with the ioy of all their heart, and with despitefull mindes to cast it out for a pray.
Por isso assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Certamente no fogo do meu zelo falei contra o resto das nações, e contra todo Edom, que se apropriaram de minha terra por herança, com alegria de todo coração, com desprezo na alma, para que fosse saqueada.
6 Prophesie therfore vpon the land of Israel, and say vnto the mountaines, and to the hilles, to the riuers, and to the valleys, Thus sayth the Lord God, Behold, I haue spoken in mine indignation, and in my wrath, because yee haue suffered the shame of the heathen,
Portanto profetiza sobre a terra de Israel, e dize aos montes, aos morros, às correntes, e aos vales: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que falei em meu zelo e em meu furor, porque levastes sobre vós a humilhação das nações.
7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, I haue lifted vp mine hand, surely the heathen that are about you, shall beare their shame.
Por isso assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eu prometo que as nações que estão ao redor de vós levarão sua humilhação sobre si mesmas.
8 But you, O mountaines of Israel, yee shall shoote forth your branches, and bring foorth your fruite to my people of Israel: for they are ready to come.
Porém vós, ó montes de Israel, produzireis vossos ramos, e dareis vosso fruto a meu povo Israel; porque logo virão.
9 For behold, I come vnto you, and I wil turne vnto you, and ye shalbe tilled and sowen.
Porque eis que estou convosco; e me voltarei a vós, e sereis lavrados e semeados.
10 And I wil multiply the men vpon you, euen all the house of Israel wholly, and the cities shalbe inhabited, and the desolate places shalbe builded.
E farei multiplicar homens sobre vós, a toda a casa de Israel, a ela toda; e as cidades serão habitadas, e as ruínas serão reedificadas.
11 And I wil multiply vpon you man and beast, and they shall encrease, and bring fruite, and I will cause you to dwell after your olde estate, and I will bestowe benefites vpon you more then at the first, and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
E multiplicarei homens e animais sobre vós; e se multiplicarão, e crescerão; e vos farei habitar como no passado, e vos farei melhor que em vossos princípios; e sabereis que eu sou o SENHOR.
12 Yea, I wil cause men to walke vpon you, euen my people Israel, and they shall possesse you, and ye shalbe their inheritance, and ye shall no more henceforth depriue them of men.
E farei andar homens sobre vós: o meu povo Israel; e eles te possuirão, e tu lhes serás sua herança, e nunca mais exterminarás seus filhos.
13 Thus sayth the Lord God, because they say vnto you, Thou land deuourest vp men, and hast bene a waster of thy people,
Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Dado que dizem de vós: Tu és devoradora de homens, e exterminadora dos filhos de teu povo,
14 Therefore thou shalt deuoure men no more, neither waste thy people henceforth, sayth the Lord God,
Por isso, não devorarás mais homens, e nem mais exterminarás os filhos de teus povos, diz o Senhor DEUS.
15 Neither will I cause men to heare in thee the shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou beare the reproche of the people any more, neither shalt cause thy folke to fal any more, saith the Lord God.
E nunca mais te deixarei ouvir a vergonha dos povos, e nunca mais levarás sobre ti a humilhação das nações, nem mais exterminarás os filhos de teu povo, diz o Senhor DEUS.
16 Moreouer the word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
17 Sonne of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their owne lande, they defiled it by their owne wayes, and by their deedes: their way was before me as the filthinesse of the menstruous.
Filho do homem, quando a casa de Israel morava em sua terra, eles a contaminaram com seus caminhos e com suas ações; o caminho deles diante de mim foi como imundície de menstruada.
18 Wherfore I powred my wrath vpon them, for the blood that they had shed in the land, and for their idoles, wherewith they had polluted it.
Por isso derramei minha ira sobre eles, por causa do sangue que derramaram sobre a terra, e por causa de seus ídolos com que a contaminaram.
19 And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries for according to their wayes, and according to their deedes, I iudged them.
E os dispersei pelas nações, e foram espalhados pelas terras; eu os julguei conforme seus caminhos e conforme seus atos.
20 And when they entred vnto the heathen, whither they went, they polluted mine holy Name, when they sayd of them, These are the people of the Lord, and are gone out of his land.
E quando chegaram às nações para onde foram, profanaram meu santo nome, pois deles se dizia: Estes são povo do SENHOR, e da terra dele saíram.
21 But I fauoured mine holy Name which the house of Israel had polluted among the heathen, whither they went.
Porém eu [os] poupei em favor a meu santo nome, o qual a casa de Israel profanou entre as nações para onde foram.
22 Therfore say vnto the house of Israel, Thus saith ye Lord God, I doe not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy Names sake, which yee polluted among the heathen whither ye went.
Portanto dize à casa de Israel: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eu não faço [isso] por vós, ó casa de Israel, mas sim por causa de meu santo nome, o qual vós profanastes entre as nações para onde fostes.
23 And I wil sanctifie my great Name, which was polluted among the heathen, among whome you haue polluted it, and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, sayth the Lord God, when I shalbe sanctified in you before their eyes.
Pois santificarei meu grande nome, que foi profanado entre as nações, o qual vós profanastes no meio delas; e as nações saberão que eu sou o SENHOR, diz o Senhor DEUS, quando eu for santificado em vós, diante de olhos delas.
24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your owne land.
Porque eu vos tomarei das nações, e vos ajuntarei de todas as terras, e vos trarei para vossa própria terra.
25 Then wil I powre cleane water vpon you, and ye shalbe cleane: yea, from all your filthines, and from all your idoles wil I clense you.
Então aspergirei água pura sobre vós, e sereis purificados; eu vos purificarei de todas vossas imundícies, e de todos os vossos ídolos.
26 A newe heart also will I giue you, and a new spirit wil I put within you, and I will take away the stonie heart out of your body, and I will giue you an heart of flesh.
E vos darei um novo coração, e porei um novo espírito dentro de vós; e tirarei de vossa carne o coração de pedra, e vos darei um coração de carne.
27 And I will put my spirite within you, and cause you to walke in my statutes, and ye shall keepe my iudgements and do them.
E porei meu Espírito dentro de vós, e farei com que andeis em meus estatutos, guardeis meus juízos, e [os] pratiqueis.
28 And ye shall dwell in the land, that I gaue to your fathers, and ye shalbe my people, and I will be your God.
E habitareis na terra que dei a vossos pais; e vós sereis meu povo, e eu serei vosso Deus.
29 I will also deliuer you from all your filthinesse, and I will call for corne, and will increase it, and lay no famine vpon you.
E eu vos livrarei de todas as vossas imundícies; e chamarei ao trigo, e o multiplicarei, e não vos darei fome.
30 For I will multiplie the fruite of the trees, and the increase of the fielde, that ye shall beare no more the reproch of famine among the heathen.
Também multiplicarei o fruto dos árvores, e o produto do campo, para que nunca mais recebais a humilhação da fome entre as nações.
31 Then shall ye remember your owne wicked wayes, and your deedes that were not good, and shall iudge your selues worthie to haue bene destroyed for your iniquities, and for your abominations.
Então vos lembrareis de vossos maus caminhos, e de vossos atos que não foram bons; e tereis nojo de vós mesmos por vossas maldades, e por vossas abominações.
32 Be it knowen vnto you that I do not this for your sakes, sayth the Lord God: therefore, O ye house of Israel, be ashamed, and confounded for your owne wayes.
Não faço [isto] por vós, diz o Senhor DEUS, notório vos seja; envergonhai-vos e humilhai-vos de vossos caminhos, ó casa de Israel.
33 Thus sayth the Lord God, What time as I shall haue clensed you from all your iniquities, I will cause you to dwel in the cities, and the desolate places shalbe builded.
Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: No dia que vos purificar de todas as vossas maldades, então farei as cidades serem habitadas, e as ruínas serão reedificadas.
34 And the desolate land shalbe tilled, whereas it lay waste in the sight of all that passed by.
E a terra assolada será lavrada, em lugar de ser assolada diante dos olhos de todos os que passavam;
35 For they sayd, This waste land was like the garden of Eden, and these waste and desolate and ruinous cities were strong, and were inhabited.
E dirão: Esta terra que era assolada ficou como o jardim do Éden; e as cidades abandonadas, assoladas e arruinadas estão fortalecidas [e] habitadas.
36 Then the residue of the heathen that are left round about you, shall know that I the Lord builde the ruinous places, and plant the desolate places: I the Lord haue spoken it, and wil do it.
Então as nações que restarem ao vosso redor saberão que eu, o SENHOR, reedifico as [cidades] destruídas, e replanto as assoladas; eu, o SENHOR, falei e farei.
37 Thus saith the Lord God, I will yet for this be sought of ye house of Israel, to performe it vnto them: I wil encrease them with men like a flocke.
Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Ainda permitirei serei buscado pela casa de Israel para lhes fazer isto: eu os multiplicarei de pessoas como a ovelhas.
38 As the holy flocke, as the flocke of Ierusalem in their solemne feastes, so shall the desolate cities be filled with flockes of men, and they shall know, that I am the Lord.
Tal como as ovelhas santificadas, como as ovelhas de Jerusalém em suas solenidades, assim também as cidades desertas serão cheias de rebanhos de pessoas; e saberão que eu sou o SENHOR.
