Ezekiel 36
1 Also thou sonne of man, prophesie vnto the mountaines of Israel, and say, Ye mountaines of Israel, heare the word of the Lord.
Und du, Menschensohn, weissage über die Berge Israels und sprich: Berge Israels, höret das Wort Jehovas!
2 Thus saith the Lord God, because the enemie hath sayde against you, Aha, euen the hye places of the world are ours in possession,
So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Weil der Feind über euch spricht: Haha! und: Die ewigen Höhen, sie sind uns zum Besitztum geworden!
3 Therefore prophesie, and say, Thus sayth the Lord God, Because that they haue made you desolate, and swallowed you vp on euery side, that ye might be a possession vnto the residue of the heathen, and ye are come vnto the lippes and tongues of men, and vnto the reproch of the people,
darum weissage und sprich: So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Darum, ja darum, daß man euch von allen Seiten her verwüstet und angeschnaubt [O. nach euch geschnappt] hat, so daß ihr dem Überrest der Nationen ein Besitztum geworden und ins Gerede der Zunge und ins Geschwätz der Leute gekommen seid:
4 Therefore ye mountaines of Israel, heare the worde of the Lord God, Thus sayth the Lord God to the mountaines and to the hilles, to the riuers, and to the valleys, and to the waste, and desolate places, and to the cities that are forsaken: which are spoyled and had in derision of the residue of the heathen that are round about.
darum, ihr Berge Israels, höret das Wort des Herrn, Jehovas! So spricht der Herr, Jehova, zu den Bergen und zu den Hügeln, zu den Gründen und zu den Tälern, und zu den wüsten Trümmern und zu den verlassenen Städten, welche dem Überrest der Nationen ringsum zur Beute und zum Spott geworden sind-
5 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Surely in the fire of mine indignation haue I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which haue taken my lande for their possession, with the ioy of all their heart, and with despitefull mindes to cast it out for a pray.
darum, so spricht der Herr, Jehova: Wahrlich, im Feuer meines Eifers habe ich geredet wider den Überrest der Nationen und wider ganz Edom, die sich mein Land zum Besitztum gemacht haben, mit ganzer Herzensfreude, mit Verachtung der Seele, um es zur Plünderung auszuleeren!
6 Prophesie therfore vpon the land of Israel, and say vnto the mountaines, and to the hilles, to the riuers, and to the valleys, Thus sayth the Lord God, Behold, I haue spoken in mine indignation, and in my wrath, because yee haue suffered the shame of the heathen,
Darum weissage von dem Lande Israel und sprich zu den Bergen und zu den Hügeln, zu den Gründen und zu den Tälern: So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Siehe, in meinem Eifer und in meinem Grimm habe ich geredet, weil ihr die Schmach der Nationen getragen habt.
7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, I haue lifted vp mine hand, surely the heathen that are about you, shall beare their shame.
Darum, so spricht der Herr, Jehova: Ich, ich habe meine Hand erhoben: [d. i. zum Schwure] Wenn nicht die Nationen, welche rings um euch her sind, ihre eigene Schmach tragen sollen!
8 But you, O mountaines of Israel, yee shall shoote forth your branches, and bring foorth your fruite to my people of Israel: for they are ready to come.
Ihr aber, Berge Israels, ihr sollt meinem Volke Israel eure Zweige treiben und eure Frucht tragen, denn sie [d. h. die Zweige und die Frucht] sind nahe daran zu kommen.
9 For behold, I come vnto you, and I wil turne vnto you, and ye shalbe tilled and sowen.
Denn siehe, ich will zu euch kommen, und ich will mich zu euch wenden, und ihr sollt bebaut und besät werden.
10 And I wil multiply the men vpon you, euen all the house of Israel wholly, and the cities shalbe inhabited, and the desolate places shalbe builded.
Und ich werde die Menschen auf euch vermehren, das ganze Haus Israel insgesamt; und die Städte sollen bewohnt und die Trümmer aufgebaut werden.
11 And I wil multiply vpon you man and beast, and they shall encrease, and bring fruite, and I will cause you to dwell after your olde estate, and I will bestowe benefites vpon you more then at the first, and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
Und ich werde Menschen und Vieh auf euch vermehren, und sie werden sich mehren und fruchtbar sein; und ich werde euch bewohnt machen, wie in euren Vorzeiten, und werde euch wohltun, mehr als in euren Anfängen. Und ihr werdet wissen, daß ich Jehova bin.
12 Yea, I wil cause men to walke vpon you, euen my people Israel, and they shall possesse you, and ye shalbe their inheritance, and ye shall no more henceforth depriue them of men.
Und ich werde Menschen, mein Volk Israel, auf euch wandeln lassen, und sie werden dich [bezieht sich nach dem Hebr. auf das Gebirge Israels] besitzen, und du wirst ihnen zum Erbteil sein; und du wirst sie hinfort nicht mehr der Kinder berauben. -
13 Thus sayth the Lord God, because they say vnto you, Thou land deuourest vp men, and hast bene a waster of thy people,
So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Weil sie zu euch sprechen: Du [bezieht sich nach dem Hebr. auf das Land] verzehrst Menschen und hast deine Nation der Kinder beraubt,
14 Therefore thou shalt deuoure men no more, neither waste thy people henceforth, sayth the Lord God,
darum wirst du nicht mehr Menschen verzehren, und wirst deine Nation nicht mehr straucheln machen [Nach and. Lesart: der Kinder berauben, ] spricht der Herr, Jehova.
15 Neither will I cause men to heare in thee the shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou beare the reproche of the people any more, neither shalt cause thy folke to fal any more, saith the Lord God.
Und ich will dich nicht mehr die Schmähung der Nationen hören lassen, und den Hohn der Völker sollst du nicht mehr tragen; und du sollst deine Nation nicht mehr straucheln machen, spricht der Herr, Jehova.
16 Moreouer the word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
Und das Wort Jehovas geschah zu mir also:
17 Sonne of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their owne lande, they defiled it by their owne wayes, and by their deedes: their way was before me as the filthinesse of the menstruous.
Menschensohn, das Haus Israel wohnte in seinem Lande, und sie verunreinigten es durch ihren Weg und durch ihre Handlungen; ihr Weg war vor mir wie die Unreinigkeit eines unreinen Weibes.
18 Wherfore I powred my wrath vpon them, for the blood that they had shed in the land, and for their idoles, wherewith they had polluted it.
Da goß ich meinen Grimm über sie aus wegen des Blutes, das sie im Lande vergossen, und weil sie es durch ihre Götzen verunreinigt hatten.
19 And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries for according to their wayes, and according to their deedes, I iudged them.
Und ich versprengte sie unter die Nationen, und sie wurden in die Länder zerstreut; ich richtete sie nach ihrem Wege und nach ihren Handlungen.
20 And when they entred vnto the heathen, whither they went, they polluted mine holy Name, when they sayd of them, These are the people of the Lord, and are gone out of his land.
Und als sie zu den Nationen kamen, wohin sie kamen, da entweihten sie meinen heiligen Namen, indem man von ihnen sagte: Jehovas Volk sind diese, und aus seinem Lande sind sie gezogen.
21 But I fauoured mine holy Name which the house of Israel had polluted among the heathen, whither they went.
Aber ich habe meinen heiligen Namen verschont, [Eig. ich habe mich meines heiligen Namens erbarmt] welchen das Haus Israel entweiht hat unter den Nationen, wohin sie kamen. -
22 Therfore say vnto the house of Israel, Thus saith ye Lord God, I doe not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy Names sake, which yee polluted among the heathen whither ye went.
Darum sprich zum Hause Israel: So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Nicht um euretwillen tue ich es, Haus Israel, sondern um meines heiligen Namens willen, den ihr entweiht habt unter den Nationen, wohin ihr gekommen seid.
23 And I wil sanctifie my great Name, which was polluted among the heathen, among whome you haue polluted it, and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, sayth the Lord God, when I shalbe sanctified in you before their eyes.
Und ich werde meinen großen Namen heiligen, der entweiht ist unter den Nationen, welchen ihr entweiht habt in ihrer Mitte. Und die Nationen werden wissen, daß ich Jehova bin, spricht der Herr, Jehova, wenn ich mich vor ihren Augen an euch heilige [d. h. heilig erweise.] -
24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your owne land.
Und ich werde euch aus den Nationen holen und euch sammeln aus allen Ländern und euch in euer Land bringen.
25 Then wil I powre cleane water vpon you, and ye shalbe cleane: yea, from all your filthines, and from all your idoles wil I clense you.
Und ich werde reines Wasser auf euch sprengen, und ihr werdet rein sein; von allen euren Unreinigkeiten und von allen euren Götzen werde ich euch reinigen.
26 A newe heart also will I giue you, and a new spirit wil I put within you, and I will take away the stonie heart out of your body, and I will giue you an heart of flesh.
Und ich werde euch ein neues Herz geben und einen neuen Geist in euer Inneres geben; und ich werde das steinerne Herz aus eurem Fleische wegnehmen und euch ein fleischernes Herz geben.
27 And I will put my spirite within you, and cause you to walke in my statutes, and ye shall keepe my iudgements and do them.
Und ich werde meinen Geist in euer Inneres geben; und ich werde machen, daß ihr in meinen Satzungen wandelt und meine Rechte bewahret und tut.
28 And ye shall dwell in the land, that I gaue to your fathers, and ye shalbe my people, and I will be your God.
Und ihr werdet in dem Lande wohnen, das ich euren Vätern gegeben habe; und ihr werdet mein Volk, und ich werde euer Gott sein.
29 I will also deliuer you from all your filthinesse, and I will call for corne, and will increase it, and lay no famine vpon you.
Und ich werde euch befreien von allen euren Unreinigkeiten. Und ich werde das Getreide herbeirufen und es mehren, und keine Hungersnot mehr auf euch bringen;
30 For I will multiplie the fruite of the trees, and the increase of the fielde, that ye shall beare no more the reproch of famine among the heathen.
und ich werde die Frucht des Baumes und den Ertrag des Feldes mehren, auf daß ihr nicht mehr den Schimpf einer Hungersnot traget unter den Nationen.
31 Then shall ye remember your owne wicked wayes, and your deedes that were not good, and shall iudge your selues worthie to haue bene destroyed for your iniquities, and for your abominations.
Und ihr werdet eurer bösen Wege gedenken und eurer Handlungen, die nicht gut waren, und werdet Ekel an euch selbst empfinden wegen eurer Missetaten und eurer Greuel.
32 Be it knowen vnto you that I do not this for your sakes, sayth the Lord God: therefore, O ye house of Israel, be ashamed, and confounded for your owne wayes.
Nicht um euretwillen tue ich es, spricht der Herr, Jehova, das sei euch kund; schämet euch und werdet beschämt vor euren Wegen, Haus Israel! -
33 Thus sayth the Lord God, What time as I shall haue clensed you from all your iniquities, I will cause you to dwel in the cities, and the desolate places shalbe builded.
So spricht der Herr, Jehova: An dem Tage, da ich euch reinigen werde von allen euren Missetaten, da will ich die Städte bewohnt machen, und die Trümmer sollen aufgebaut werden.
34 And the desolate land shalbe tilled, whereas it lay waste in the sight of all that passed by.
Und das verwüstete Land soll bebaut werden, statt daß es eine Wüste war vor den Augen jedes Vorüberziehenden.
35 For they sayd, This waste land was like the garden of Eden, and these waste and desolate and ruinous cities were strong, and were inhabited.
Und man wird sagen: Dieses Land da, das verwüstete, ist wie der Garten Eden geworden, und die verödeten und verwüsteten und zerstörten Städte sind befestigt und bewohnt.
36 Then the residue of the heathen that are left round about you, shall know that I the Lord builde the ruinous places, and plant the desolate places: I the Lord haue spoken it, and wil do it.
Und die Nationen, welche rings um euch her übrigbleiben werden, werden wissen, daß ich, Jehova, das Zerstörte aufbaue, das Verwüstete bepflanze. Ich, Jehova, habe geredet und werde es tun. -
37 Thus saith the Lord God, I will yet for this be sought of ye house of Israel, to performe it vnto them: I wil encrease them with men like a flocke.
So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Auch noch um dieses werde ich mich vom Hause Israel erbitten [Eig. ersuchen] lassen, daß ich es ihnen tue: Ich werde sie an Menschen vermehren wie eine Herde.
38 As the holy flocke, as the flocke of Ierusalem in their solemne feastes, so shall the desolate cities be filled with flockes of men, and they shall know, that I am the Lord.
Wie eine geheiligte Herde, wie die Herde Jerusalems an seinen Festen, [Eig. bestimmten Zeiten, d. h. alle geheiligten Zeiten und Tage; so auch Kap. 44,24] also werden die verödeten Städte voll Menschenherden sein. Und sie werden wissen, daß ich Jehova bin.
