< Ezekiel 35 >
1 Moveover the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
Naʻe hoko foki ʻae folofola ʻa Sihova kiate au, ʻo pehē,
2 Sonne of man, Set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesie against it,
“Foha ʻoe tangata, fakahanga ho mata ki he moʻunga ko Seia, pea kikite ki ai,
3 And say vnto it, Thus sayth the Lord God, Behold, O mount Seir, I come against thee, and I wil stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee desolate and waste.
Pea ke pehē ki ai, ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua; ʻE moʻunga ko Seia, Vakai, ko au ʻoku ou tuʻu kiate koe, pea te u mafao atu hoku nima kiate koe, pea te u ngaohi koe ke lala ʻaupito.
4 I wil lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt knowe that I am the Lord.
Te u fakalala ho ngaahi kolo, pea te ke ʻauha ai, mo ke ʻilo ai ko Sihova au.
5 Because thou hast had a perpetuall hatred and hast put the children of Israel to flight by the force of the sword in the time of their calamitie, when their iniquitie had an ende,
Koeʻuhi kuo tuʻumaʻu pe ʻa hoʻo fehiʻa, pea kuo ke lilingi ʻae toto ʻoe fānau ʻa ʻIsileli, ʻi he mālohi ʻoe heletā ʻi he ʻaho ʻo honau tuʻutāmaki, ʻi he ngaahi ʻaho ne fakakakato ai ʻenau hia:
6 Therefore as I liue, sayth the Lord God, I wil prepare thee vnto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: except thou hate blood, euen blood shall pursue thee.
Ko ia, ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua, Ko au ʻoku ou moʻui, pea te u teuteu koe ki he lilingi toto, pea ʻe tuli koe ʻe he toto: koeʻuhi naʻe ʻikai te ke fehiʻa ki he toto pea ko e moʻoni ʻe tuli koe ʻe he toto.
7 Thus will I make mount Seir desolate and waste, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.
ʻE pehē ʻa ʻeku ngaohi ʻae moʻunga ko Seia ke lala ʻaupito, pea te u motuhi mei ai ʻaia kotoa pē ʻoku feʻaluʻaki ai.
8 And I will fill his mountaines with his slayne men: in thine hilles, and in thy valleys and in all thy riuers shall they fall, that are slayne with the sworde.
Pea te u ʻufiʻufi ʻaki ʻae kakai tāmateʻi ʻa hono ngaahi moʻunga: ʻe tō hifo ʻakinautolu ʻoku tāmate ʻaki ʻae heletā ʻi ho ngaahi tafungofunga, mo e ngaahi teleʻa, pea ʻi ho ngaahi vaitafe.
9 I wil make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not returne, and ye shall knowe that I am the Lord.
Te u ngaohi koe ke lala maʻuaipē, pea ʻe ʻikai toe kakai ho ngaahi kolo; pea te mou ʻilo ko Sihova au.
10 Because thou hast said, These two nations, and these two countreys shalbe mine, and we wil possesse them (seeing the Lord was there)
Koeʻuhi kuo ke pehē ʻe koe, Ko e ongo puleʻanga na, mo e ongo fonua na ʻe ʻaʻaku pe ia, pea te mau maʻu ia; ka ko eni naʻe ʻi ai ʻa Sihova:
11 Therefore as I liue, sayth the Lord God, I wil euen do according to thy wrath, and according to thine indignation which thou hast vsed in thine hatred against them: and I wil make my selfe knowen among them whe I haue iudged thee.
Ko ia ʻoku pehē ai ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua; Ko au ʻoku ou moʻui, pea te u fai moʻoni ʻo fakatatau ki hoʻo ʻita, pea tatau mo hoʻo meheka, ʻaia kuo ke fai ʻi hoʻo fehiʻa kiate kinautolu; pea te u fakaʻilo au kiate kinautolu ʻo kau ka fai ʻae fakamaau kiate koe.
12 And thou shalt know, that I the Lord haue heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountaines of Israel, saying, They lye waste, they are giuen vs to be deuoured.
Pea te ke ʻilo ko Sihova au, kuo u fanongo ki he ngaahi lea kovi ʻaia kuo ke fai ki he ngaahi moʻunga ʻo ʻIsileli, ʻo pehē, Kuo fakalala ia, kuo foaki mai ke tau fakaʻauha ia.
13 Thus with your mouthes ye haue boasted against me, and haue multiplied your words against me: I haue heard them.
Kuo pehē ʻa hoʻomou polepole kiate au, pea kuo mou fakalahi hoʻomou lea kiate au: kuo u fanongo au ki ai.”
14 Thus sayth the Lord God, So shall all the world reioyce when I shall make thee desolate.
ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua: “ʻOka fiefia ʻa māmani kotoa pē, te u ngaohi koe ke lala.
15 As thou diddest reioyce at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I doe vnto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea wholly, and they shall know, that I am the Lord.
Hangē naʻa ke fiefia koe ki he tofiʻa ʻae fale ʻo ʻIsileli, koeʻuhi ne lala ia, ʻe pehē pe ʻa ʻeku fai kiate koe: te ke lala koe, ʻe moʻunga ʻo Seia, pea mo ʻItomi kotoa pē, ʻio, ʻaia kotoa pē: pea te nau ʻilo ko Sihova au.”
